Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and influential individual with extensive storytelling and multimedia content production experience to join us as our Senior Stories Producer (10-month fixed term contract / secondment), where you will work within our dynamic Creative Content Team to find and produce powerful stories that inspire the UK public to act for children.

About the role

As Senior Stories Producer, you will be responsible for finding, developing and producing authentic, compelling stories that demonstrate our impact for children in the UK and around the world. Leading end-to-end content gathering projects, you will ensure stories are captured ethically, responsibly and in line with safeguarding and brand standards, helping to position Save the Children as a distinctive, modern children's cause.

This is a 10-month maternity cover offered as a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.

In this role, you will:

• Lead content gathering shoots from planning to delivery — including forecasting, research, scouting and production — translating organisational objectives into clear story and content briefs.
• Manage and oversee the content pipeline and annual shoot calendar, making strategic decisions on priorities and responding to reactive or fast-turnaround needs.
• Travel within the UK and internationally to lead shoots, managing freelance photographers, videographers, translators and relationships with Country Office and partner teams.
• Ensure robust consent, safeguarding and duty of care processes for child and adult contributors, stewarding contributors appropriately and managing re-consent where required.
• Collaborate across Strategic Communications and Public, UK and Global Impact teams to align storytelling with brand, campaign and organisational priorities.
• Champion ethical and participatory storytelling practices, contributing to guidance, training and continuous improvement across the organisation.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• A strong track record of story research and demonstrable knowledge of what makes compelling, audience-focused content.
• Significant experience producing multimedia content, with strong interviewing skills and a good understanding of brand-aligned storytelling and narrative development.
• Proven experience working on a wide range of complex briefs from multiple stakeholders, balancing priorities effectively.
• Experience working alongside creative teams and/or film and photography producers, managing the delivery of high-quality content.
• Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills, with strong attention to detail, and experience transcribing and shaping interviews into powerful stories.
• A strong understanding of ethical storytelling, safeguarding and working sensitively with children and vulnerable communities.

Location & Ways of Working:

Core responsibilities within your role will be to:

• Experience of using a range of analytics tools to help monitor, optimise and evaluate campaign performance including Google Analytics, CRMs and ESPs.
• Experience of using Customer Relationship Management systems to segment audiences, create campaigns, target audiences and report on activity.
• Experience of working on marketing and communications campaigns across owned, paid and earned channels.
• Management of campaigns and implementing tracking, undertaking evaluation based on performance of KPIs.
• Experience of copywriting and producing content for a range of channels and audiences.

Help shape the future of income generation at Alopecia UK. This newly created role offers a rare opportunity to build and lead fundraising at a small but ambitious national charity.

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Fundraising Manager to lead our next phase of income growth. Strategic leadership

• Lead the development and implementation of a multi-year income generation strategy aligned to Alopecia UK priorities.
• Work across the organisation to ensure fundraising activity is fully integrated with operational delivery, partnering closely with the finance, communications and delivery managers to align plans, resources and messaging, and to ensure shared initiatives are realistic, coordinated and achievable.

Income growth & diversification

As a part-time role within a small charity, the postholder will need to carefully prioritise income-generating opportunities alongside stewardship and relationship management. In year one, a key focus will be establishing effective donor pathways through the rollout of our new CRM, ensuring supporters experience clear and meaningful journeys with the charity. Alongside this, the Senior Fundraising Manager will assess and determine which early opportunities for growth should be prioritised. While areas such as community fundraising, digital campaigns and regular giving are likely to offer early potential, the postholder will lead decisions on where to focus effort and investment to generate the strongest returns.

• Leverage and optimise existing community and public fundraising activity to increase income and supporter numbers.
• Develop and grow new revenue streams, to potentially include digital fundraising campaigns, regular giving, trusts and grants, and legacy giving.
• Lead creatively and intellectually on compelling campaigning initiatives that drive engagement and income.
• Provide excellent stewardship to ensure funders and partners feel valued, engaged and motivated to continue their support.

CRM

• Support the design and rollout of our first CRM system, working closely with the Finance & Operations Manager to design fit-for-purpose donor journeys and pathways, establish meaningful reporting frameworks and ensure data supports excellent stewardship and strategic decision-making.
• Use CRM data and financial information to track performance, analyse trends and adjust strategy as required.

Data & impact

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including ICO guidance, GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
• Work closely with the Finance & Operations Manager to ensure our data meaningfully represents organisational outcomes.
• Translate impact data into powerful, succinct and persuasive communications or compelling cases for support.

The Legacy Officer plays a vital role in securing the long-term future of the charity by administering, promoting, and stewarding the charity’s legacy programme, our largest income stream. The role will coordinate learning and development for volunteers, help organisations understand their volunteer needs, and strengthen their capacity to recruit, retain and recognise women and girls in volunteering.

You will use Salford CVS’s established volunteering expertise to support England Accredited clubs, leagues and sessional football providers to attract, recruit and retain more female volunteers. This includes addressing known barriers such as lack of visible role models, sex-based discrimination, childcare demands that fall disproportionately on women, limited flexibility and traditional recruitment practices that may favour men.

Working in connection with our Volunteer Centre and wider Active Communities teams, you will join a service that already supports hundreds of organisations to develop safe and high-quality volunteering opportunities, matches hundreds of residents to roles, and delivers a wide range of volunteering training and good-practice guidance. You will also work closely with local partners, including Salford Community Leisure, GM Moving, Manchester FA and VCSE partners to ensure a coordinated and impactful approach.

The role will involve building strong relationships with clubs and leagues, engaging women and girls through targeted outreach in multiple settings (for example, community events, education environments, VCSE spaces, etc.), supporting grassroots clubs to understand their volunteer needs and barriers, and developing sustainable volunteer plans that help address these. You will deliver both FA and Salford CVS-designed training, increasing access to high-quality learning and development across the grassroots football ecosystem.

You will also connect to our wider engagement in the physical activity agenda in Salford, particularly the Place Partnership, a programme helping to lower barriers to physical activity and get Salford residents moving more.

Hours: 18 hours per week (excluding breaks), to be worked over 3–4 days.

Contract: Until 30th June 2028, subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.

Purpose of the Role

The Finance Manager is responsible for the effective financial management and in large part, delivery of the church, ensuring robust systems, accurate reporting, compliance with charity and diocesan requirements, and strong financial planning. The role supports the PCC in fulfilling its legal and fiduciary responsibilities and enables staff and clergy teams to focus on the strategic priorities of the church.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting

• Oversee all day-to-day financial operations of the church.
