Can you harness the power of stories to improve life for people with dementia and those around them?

Our magazine, Dementia together, helps people affected by dementia to feel less isolated and better able to make decisions. We also inspire readers and listeners to be a force for change by campaigning, fundraising and more – people act on the real-life stories and ideas that we share.

You’ll work with the Magazine Editor to plan and create content that reflects the full range of people’s experiences of dementia, being true to their voices while also fulfilling the Society’s aims. You’ll speak with a great range of people in this role – people with a dementia diagnosis, their carers, friends and relatives, supporters, volunteers, activists, researchers, and colleagues across our teams as well as representatives from other organisations.
 
You’ll help make content available online and elsewhere, producing a podcast and enabling colleagues to draw on our content and material in other ways too.
We never stop improving what we do and how we do it. One example is our focus on finding new ways to involve people with lived experience of dementia in planning and creating content.

This is a homeworking role, but you may be required to travel to attend some meetings and team-days, so you must reside in the UK, have the correct right to work documents to work in the UK and be comfortable/willing to travel to our flagship offices (London or Birmingham) if/when required.

About the role

This is an exciting time to join Young Lives vs Cancer as we set up a new Brand Marketing and Communications function including a team of digital experts.

We are looking to recruit two Digital Marketing Officers to join the newly created Digital Engagement team working to deliver exceptional digital activity that delivers against organisational objectives. One successful candidate will lead on supporting social channels and the other on email marketing, however both roles will be expected to work across all digital channels and cover for each other as necessary.

You will work on digital campaigns across email, organic social and paid digital marketing channels, including PPC and social media. This role will be vital in setting up a new digital hub of expertise within the organisation and helping to drive forward the best use of digital channels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work with stakeholder teams to develop digital marketing campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels delivering against KPI’s for income, campaigning and brand awareness.
• Work closely with colleagues creating content and landing pages on the website to optimise supporter journeys through digital channels
• Monitor the impact of marketing campaigns to report on key KPI’s and metrics. Using tools within social media platforms and Google analytics.
• Monitor and follow trends within digital and innovation in order to improve the organisation’s digital presence and activities

About the opportunity

Duties and responsibilities

We're looking for an IT Project Manager to join our Data and IT team. The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of assigned IT projects within the charity. You'll be responsible for managing the project team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards. About the role

We’re recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to steer us in the next stage of our journey. This is an exciting development of an existing role at Overcoming MS and will allow the successful candidate to make the position their own.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering an innovative new digital marketing approach, through the innovation, creation and delivery of projects and activities which increase leads, donations and engagement for Overcoming MS charity.

 Key Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Manager will work across several areas, including:

1. Conversion optimisation

· Increasing our donations and data capture - to enable us to continue the dialogue and create donations from a greater percentage of those who visit our website, or interact with other digital channels.

· Working with our agency partner to optimise key landing pages and signposting for conversion.

2. User journey optimisation

· Helping people find the right content based on data optimisations so that more people find what they need and understand what else the charity could offer them. Using HotJar for insights.

· Automated email journeys - Building customer journeys to support the Program pillars to build deeper relationships with people in our community.

3. Increasing reach and traffic generation

· Testing different low-cost digital reach opportunities.

· Including paid social, referral activities, calls to action across our channels, YouTube SEO and SEM. Working with an agency to optimise journeys from Google Grant, leading to clearly articulated actions (eg donations, sign-ups, click-throughs).

4. Testing to improve results continually 

· Email AB testing - Deliver AB testing to inform future email AB tests.

· Plan AB testing for email marketing projects, for the website, and other projects as needed to improve conversion rates.

5. Digital project management

· Testing new digital versions of courses and tools. Project management of website updates.

6. Campaign support

· Leading, innovating and supporting advocacy, communications and fundraising campaigns as needed to increase reach, engagement and conversions.

7. Gathering community feedback

· Continue the plan to access regular community feedback to influence Hub improvements and other digital channel improvements.

8. Supplier collaboration

· Working with our suppliers to optimise collaboration, reduce cost and increase impact.

About you

Strong digital skills

• A proven track record of managing digital products/projects/programmes which create value for end-users. 
• Strong working knowledge and experience in digital solutions.
• Experience in evaluating and improving existing digital programs.
• Significant experience working with 3rd party digital providers to create solutions that work for the target audience.
• Confident in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

This role will be responsible for planning and delivering supporter journeys and data selections for NSPCC campaigns, based on briefs developed with Campaign Managers and internal teams. This will primarily use FastStats, PeopleStage and Adestra, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.

The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.   

When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.  

Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.   

Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact in order to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK. To do this, we need to continue to grow our fundraised income, of which new corporate income is a significant element.

JOB INFORMATION

We are seeking candidates who are after the next step in their fundraising journey. You will already have strong credentials and be ready to start your journey into Partnership Management which will include leading in delivering the new business plan and working closely with colleagues in the Partnership Development team and across the organisation to identify, create and secure new strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Building a pipeline that reflects Magic Breakfast’s restricted and unrestricted funding needs, including Gift in Kind requirements, working with the Partnership Research Executive to research and identify prospects with potential.  
• Making use of multiple tactics to secure meetings with prospects including, for example, cold calling, emailing, running events, event networking and social selling on platforms like LinkedIn.
• Ensuring that risk-screening and due diligence processes have been completed in line with Magic Breakfast’s Ethical Fundraising and Due Diligence policies.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a digital marketing expert to join the Digital Engagement Team at Alzheimer’s Society. This role sits within the Development team, a sub-team of Philanthropy, at Alzheimer’s Society and plays a vital role in the success of our Insurance United Against Dementia campaign. Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) is a senior volunteer led industry initiative which has raised an incredible £9million to date. We have ambitious plans to reach an initial £10million target within the next 12-months and to take the campaign into a second phase to achieve further impact.

Since the campaign launched in September 2017, we have seen significant success, raising awareness of dementia and the profile of Alzheimer’s Society and IUAD across the industry through corporate partnerships, philanthropy, industry events and owned activities. 

We are looking for an individual who matches the ambition of the team and our industry supporter, someone with a personable style that can take ownership of the events fundraising stream and communication plans for the IUAD campaign. 

The post holder offers unique opportunities to take responsibility for key initiatives, such as our flagship fundraising event, the Insurance Day for Dementia. The successful candidate will also lead on the securing, development, and delivery of activity within industry events and fundraising events led by industry supporters. 

The role also leads key supporter and industry communications which help to celebrate successes and impact, while also growing awareness and engagement. This multi-faceted role will also support activations and exciting events, which are secured through our other development board and campaign, Sport United Against Dementia.

About the role

The Regional Communications Officer role is an exciting, varied position working with Emmaus communities located in the South East region of the UK to increase their profile and engage supporters.

You will work closely with the Emmaus communities in your patch to identify their communications needs and plan and deliver a mix of work to help achieve their goals. A typical working week within this role can include:

This is a part time position working four days per week (30 hours), Monday to Friday.

Within this role, you can be based at home or in an Emmaus community. Wherever you are based, maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is vitally important.  The current patch for this role is Emmaus Brighton & Hove, Emmaus Greenwich and Emmaus Dover. Regular travel to these three communities will be required (usually one community visit per week). Travel to team meetings, usually held in Birmingham, and other locations will also be required on occasion.

Who are we looking for?

We require someone with a strong skillset and at least two years’ experience working in a busy communications, public relations or marketing role. Although not essential, knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the charity sector would also be an advantage.

Creativity and passion are a must. You will have a broad range of communications skills, love seeing your creative ideas come to life and keen to develop your skillset within a national homelessness charity.

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federation of over 170 organisations which provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. Purpose of the Project Manager role:   

As Project Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in working across the organisation to ensure that sound project management principles are being used in all aspects of our work. You will support the Head of Strategic Programmes to effectively schedule and monitor the projects, programmes and core business activity across the organisation, in line with our key strategic goals.

• Full scale project management of key strategic projects across a project’s full life cycle, to deliver within scope, on time, on budget, and within quality commitments. • Assessing and recommending to the senior leadership team the viability and suitability of new proposed projects.

What we are looking for in our Project Manager: 

Essential: 

• Substantial (5+ years) proven experience in project planning and execution, monitoring and reporting, and achievement of objectives.

• Ability to work at pace and deliver to deadlines, prioritising work depending on organisational need.
