Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Senior Digital Officer to join our ambitious and growing type 1 diabetes charity, JDRF, as part of the digital and marketing team.
You will build our reach by ensuring our website is search engine optimised and will champion optimisation with all content providers across the organisation. You will build landing pages and microsites for fundraising campaigns across various platforms, complete user experience research to develop compelling user journeys and will evaluate the performance of our digital channels. Occasionally, you will also support JDRF’s paid media campaigns.
An experienced digital professional, you may have worked for a charity before in a similar role. You will be motivated by the latest digital trends and will be familiar with a variety of digital channels. You will be ever-curious, always seeking to improve your skills and adopt new approaches.
Experience required
You’ll have previous experience of:
- Using website content management systems and other platforms
- Working with digital agency suppliers including support developers
- Providing support to multiple teams across an organisation

About IKWRO
IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.
We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. IKWRO offers free advice, advocacy and counselling services and operates a refuge which provides safe accommodation and specialist support to single women at risk of “honour” based abuse, forced marriage and domestic abuse.
IKWRO also provides training for women and girls to help them understand their rights in the UK. In partnership with other organisations, we assist survivors of abuse with accessing English language classes and education, training and employment opportunities.

Purpose of Job
The Fundraising Officer will work as part of the Fundraising and Marketing team and will be responsible for:

Kinship have been awarded funding from the Department for Education to deliver the first ever national training programme to support kinship carers in their caring role. We are at the start of that journey.
About the role:
Kinship are seeking to recruit experienced event co-ordinators with a whole range of skills and great energy to join our brand-new training team. They will be responsible for delivering this first ever programme of its type supporting kinship carers across England in their caring role.
As a pivotal part of the team, you’ll be supporting delivery of high-quality in-person and online training events across England. You’ll be the first point of contact for the team and be experienced and responsive in dealing with enquiries. You’ll be used to working with suppliers and have proven experience of planning, co-ordinating and supporting the delivery of large events. You’ll bring significant working experience of using Microsoft tools, and other platforms and technology including Zoom. As our Training Coordinator you predominantly support the Service Delivery Managers and Support Officer in the effective planning and delivery of wheelchair skills training to meet the strategic objectives. You will work directly with young people and their families, schools, colleagues, partner organisations and professionals, delivering accredited training across the UK.

The person
You will be part of the Young People’s Services Team who provide a range of services and activities for young wheelchair users and their families. You will have a friendly and professional approach to working with families and professionals and be highly organised to manage planning, delivery and relevant paperwork for all wheelchair skills services. Skills and knowledge
• Understanding and familiarity of good practice and law around child protection, disability discrimination and equal opportunities legislation, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection.
• The ability to teach and demonstrate wheelchair skills, using a wheelchair.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Ability to motivate children and young people of all ages.
• The ability to deliver training using coaching/teaching skills.
Experience
• Experience of working directly with disabled children, young people and their families.
• Lived experience of being a wheelchair user and/or experience of delivering wheelchair skills training is preferable.
• Demonstratable experience of delivering training, teaching or coaching.
• Youth work experience.
• Experience of risk management procedures.
Personal qualities

The purpose of the Senior Direct Marketing Officer’s role is to deliver and evolve the acquisition and retention strategy, inspiring the people of London to become long-term supporters of the Charity.

The Alliance for Inclusive Education (ALLFIE) has led the lobby for change in inclusive education for over 30 years, serving as the only national Disabled people’s campaigning organisation working on this issue.
ALLFIE’s vision is to create an inclusive society by ensuring inclusive education within mainstream settings for ALL Disabled people. We campaign for ‘a world where inclusive education is a right, not a struggle,’ and for Disabled pupils and students to be fully included in mainstream education, training, and apprenticeships, with all necessary support. Job purpose: The Social Media Co–Lead will ensure the smooth delivery of ALLFIE’s online and social media content, to increase understanding of, and engagement with, our inclusive education campaign work.
