There are also 3 Emmaus groups working towards the development of services in their areas. About the role

The newly-created role of Digital Content & Campaigns Manager will sit within the National Communications Team to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives.

As part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty, the role will work to harness the potential of multimedia content to demonstrate the breadth of our activities and impact, but also raise the voices of people who have experienced homelessness

The role will be instrumental in the implementation of an evolved Emmaus brand language and visuals across websites, social media and other digital channels, and will work to embed measurement and monitoring processes to grow our reach.

Working with the National Communications Manager, the role will be central to the delivery of communications, fundraising and influence objectives with a strategic focus, while being hands-on in delivering standout content.

Emmaus UK is looking for a team player who will lead our digital activities to shout louder about the transformative work of Emmaus UK and the wider Emmaus federation, by engaging existing audiences through powerful storytelling..

What we offer

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Communications and Campaigns Manager to lead the design, development and delivery of our communication campaigns, projects and events, and engagement with our Member Agencies, helping us to reach a wider audience, raise awareness and encourage engagement.

The Survivors Trust mission:

The Survivors Trust (TST) is the UK’s largest national membership organisation for specialist voluntary sector rape and sexual abuse support services. We have over 120 Member Agencies based across the UK and Ireland. We campaign to raise awareness of sexual violence and to improve the support available for its survivors.

Our work falls into five broad areas:

1. Representation, networking and organisational support for our member agencies;

2. Support for all survivors of all forms of sexual violence;

3. Education and training

4. Campaigning for change

5. Providing a national collective voice for survivors and those who support them.

Job description

Main responsibilities will be in the following areas:

• Ensuring effective communication across the TST team, with our members and with external agencies
• Maintaining effective communications with our  Member Agencies including e-newsletters, e-bulletins and updates.
• Leading  social media and digital communications
• Supporting national influencing campaigns
• Undertaking research as required to inform campaign activities, legal and policy work
• Creating social media content and assets, graphics, videos and animations
• Working with our fundraising team to increase engagement
• Supporting and promoting the work of our member organisations
• Representing TST at external meetings, forums and focus groups
• Managing responses to requests and queries from the press, public and other external agencies.

Person Specification

Our ideal candidate will

· Demonstrate commitment to TST’s ethos, mission and values

· Have excellent ability to research, analyse and present information

· Be experienced in developing and managing social media and digital campaigning

Understanding of gender-based violence and the work of specialist rape and sexual abuse support services will be an advantage.  Experience, particularly in a communications or campaigns focussed role in the specialist sexual violence voluntary sector or general voluntary sector will be an advantage. Age UK is offering a fantastic 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover) for a Senior External Affairs Manager.

In this impactful role you will develop and lead the delivery of Age UK's integrated public affairs and campaigning work, with the overarching aim of creating sustainable change for older people in line with our strategy and goals. The Digital Campaigns Manager will play a crucial role in driving supporter engagement, fundraising, and brand awareness through the planning, execution, and analysis of effective digital marketing campaigns. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Agency Management: Support the Senior Digital Channel Manager in managing relationships with media agencies and platform suppliers, ensuring optimal digital marketing support for outsourced campaigns.

· Budget Stewardship: Responsible for advocating for budget to be invested in a holistic way across key channels, such as paid search to maximise income, action and influence.

· Campaign Integration: Contribute to the development and implementation of a holistic digital marketing strategy, ensuring campaigns are integrated and aligned with ARUK's overall goals.

· Data-Informed Decision Making: Champion a data-informed approach, utilising analytics and insights to inform campaign planning, execution, and optimisation.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Do you want to be part of an ambitious and high-performing fundraising team that aims to exploit the legacy growth potential in the animal welfare charity sector?

We are looking for a new member to join our legacy and in-memory team, within its Individual Giving department. This role will help to manage and test legacy marketing campaigns with the aim to grow the size of the charity’s legacy Enquirer and Considerer base using various channels such as social media, direct mail and telemarketing. This role will also work on recruiting enquiries about the charity’s Pet Promise scheme and recruit new in-memory and tribute fund supporters. Although the role is strongly weighted to legacy marketing, the post-holder will also manage Woodgreen’s mid-value programme, creating a brilliant opportunity for an existing legacy fundraiser to broaden their professional remit.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, able to deliver campaigns on time and within budget. They will need to make decisions based on sound evidence, and will always demonstrate an attitude to learn-and-adapt campaigns. They will also have strong communication skills, able to champion legacy and mid-value giving, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

You will;

• Provide expertise and collaborate with the Senior Donor Development Manager – Engagement and Legacy to develop legacy marketing acquisition and mid-value programme strategies.

• Manage the services of multiple suppliers for the planning, creative, media, print and distribution, producing comprehensive written briefs with verbal discussions to ensure the output meets requirements.
• Build relationships and work closely with internal colleagues across the organisation to leverage ‘piggy-backing opportunities’ as well as helping to champion legacy giving across the charity
• Work with the Database Team to deliver end of campaign results analysis, ensuring reporting data is correct and highlight key observations and recommendations for future activity or further insight requirements.
• Manage a six-figure expenditure budget, allocating budget to channels and products

You will have;

• Experience of planning and managing legacy acquisition campaigns to recruit individual supporters ideally using telemarketing, direct mail and social media/PPC.
• Experience of effective management of multiple key suppliers, ensuring service is to agreed standards
• Experience of effective expenditure budget management

Campaigns Intern

Role Summary:

PETA’s campaigns team is at the core of the organisation – it’s a busy group of advocates pushing for an end to animal suffering with eye-catching, bold campaigns calling on the government, the corporate world, and the public to take action for animals. Our priorities include campaigning against the use of animals for experimentation, food, fashion, and entertainment. As our campaigns intern, you’ll have the opportunity to assist these efforts on the ground as well as in the planning phase. If you share PETA’s values and want to gain experience in a fast-paced campaigning environment, we can’t wait to hear from you. We’re looking for someone who can commit to three or four days a week (days to be agreed in advance) for a period of six months.

Position Objective:

To support and assist the campaigns team with actions and projects that further PETA’s campaigns and mission

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist the campaigners with organising and holding demonstrations and other actions
• Assist with day-to-day tasks within the campaigns team
• Research our targets, conduct horizon scanning, and look for campaign opportunities
• Perform general administrative tasks, such as assisting with our campaigns inventory, data-entry, gathering and sending materials to PETA entities and activists, and archiving photos after demonstrations
• Travel when necessary to attend demonstrations, tabling, and other campaign events
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Experience as an activist preferred but not essential
• Willingness to take part in demonstrations and disruptions
• Knowledge of animal rights issues
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to be punctual and dependable
• Willingness to travel
• Adherence to a vegan lifestyle preferred
• Commitment to the objectives of the organisation

We are seeking an experienced Campaign Mobilisation Manager to design and deliver high impact campaigns, manage and grow our network of campaigners, and centre the voices of people with lived experience of financial insecurity.

This is an exciting opportunity in our growing Policy & Influencing team to establish a robust campaigning function for Turn2us, with a strong focus on system change and the impact of stigma.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about our mission to challenge the systems and perceptions that cause financial insecurity. You will bring experience of developing and delivering high impact and creative influencing campaign strategies with a focus on centring the voices of people with lived experience. 

We want to hear from applicants with a strong understanding of how policy, public affairs and campaigning interact to create social change, and the digital skills to build and grow an online network of campaign supporters.

We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month.

The Policy and Campaigns Manager is responsible for leading on CLAPA’s campaigning and policy work across the UK.  This is a new direction for CLAPA and a key part of the role will be to develop a clear strategy and action plan to ensure a focused and targeted approach to this area of work.   

The post-holder is responsible for ensuring that work is delivered to the highest standard and that the wider staff team and board of trustees are kept informed on progress and development.

We are recruiting a Policy and Campaigns Manager to take forward our work on household debt. This role plays a key part in our campaign to end the UK’s household debt crisis.

Over ten million people in the UK are now ‘overindebted’, meaning they are behind on bills or are finding their debt repayments a heavy financial burden. The crisis has been growing over the last decade but has increased dramatically because of the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis. More and more people are now borrowing to cover bills and essentials.

Our campaign combines community organising with national level campaigning and advocacy work to bring the voices of those most affected by the debt crisis to the fore in debates on policy solutions. You will use your policy and campaigning expertise to help ensure the people most impacted by problem household debt have a say in influencing the policies that affect them. You will work on issues such as the growth in council tax debt and bailiff use, the huge build up in energy debt as a result of the cost of living crisis and making insolvency policy and practice fairer and more accessible so more people can get out of debt.

You will be a key member of our household debt project team, working alongside the Head of Campaigns, Head of Policy and Advocacy, Digital Campaigner and Lead  Organiser.

We are looking for someone with great policy analysis and advocacy skills, a strong campaigning mindset, and a passion for social justice. We are not expecting you to already be an expert in all aspects of the role or in household debt policy but are looking for someone with the potential to develop quickly. Crucially, you will also need to appreciate why taking a community organising approach and building the power of people affected by debt is important, though you do not need to have experience in community organising.

This role will require some evening and weekend working, though this will be infrequent.

Good Law Project is a not-for-profit campaign organisation which uses the law to hold power to account, protect the environment and ensure no one is left behind. They are proud to be primarily funded by members of the public, which keeps them fiercely independent.

Founded 7 years ago and operational from 2020, Good Law Project has gone from strength to strength in that time and grown from an initial founder to just under 40 people. It's an exciting time to be joining their team, as they bed in their new data strategy and look to increase their internal data presence and explore ways of adding insight to their action.

As the person flying the data and campaigns technology flag, you will take accountability for leading the Data and Product teams in maintaining, upgrading, and developing their external tech suite offerings, so that they can improve their donors' and supporters' experience and communicate effectively with them. You will lead a team of two Managers, with three further staff, and coach them to continue and to develop further as a highly effective team.

The post holder will also oversee the supporter care function and deliver on digital innovation as the organisation evolves. You will also collaborate with colleagues across the campaigns department to ensure that together they can have maximum impact and raise maximum income. You'll develop strong relationships across Good Law Project, helping to truly understand and implement the needs of other teams.
