Job Purpose
This role plays a key part in the delivery of Operation Smile UK’s retention programme, generating income and retaining existing cash and regular giving donors. The Giving Engagement Officer (Retention) will support the Giving Engagement Manager to implement multi-channel (mail, telemarketing, web and email) donor retention campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, creative accuracy, and effective stakeholder coordination.
You will be responsible for managing campaign schedules, supporting the creative and data processes, and ensuring delivery partners are aligned. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their fundraising or campaign delivery experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery & Coordination
· Deliver cultivation and retention campaigns, setting up and developing schedules in Asana and coordinating all required stakeholders.
· Manage timelines to ensure all activity is delivered on time and to plan.
· Compile campaign costs and track expenditure against budgets, flagging issues as they arise.
Creative, Data & Fulfilment Management
- Develop campaign briefs for creative, data output, print and fulfilment for review by internal teams and suppliers.
- Manage the creative sign-off process: collate feedback from stakeholders and ensure briefing accuracy to suppliers.
- Proof all campaign materials to maintain brand integrity and accuracy.
Digital & Email Communications
- Support the development of donor emails in line with agreed campaign structures.
- Coordinate the production and scheduling of email content in collaboration with the communications and data and tech team.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Compile campaign results for analysis and provide reports to inform future activity.
- Work closely with data teams to ensure appropriate segmentation and tracking.
Donor Stewardship
- Support the thank-you process, including personalising and developing donor thank-you cards as required.
- Contribute to improving supporter journeys and experiences through campaign touchpoints, especially for regular givers.

Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. The Fundraising Strategy & Operations Team deliver the Fundraising strategy and provide high quality operations to support the Fundraising Directorate. The team has a variety of different functions including Supporter Care, Strategic Liaison with Service teams, Compliance, Supporter Journeys and Communications as well as general administration. This role will be managing the Supporter Care team of three people.
About you
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a busy supporter care environment, working to tight deadlines
- Experience of writing donor correspondence and creating data capture guidance
- Proven experience of supporter care campaign management including creating clear processes and flow charts and managing, negotiating and liaising with suppliers.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage a variety of projects and activities to tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, along with the ability to develop strong working relationships with external suppliers and internal departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and produce written documents to a high standard

In this fixed-term role, you will support the Direct Marketing Manager - Loyalty to manage the donor loyalty programme. You will develop and manage existing and new supporter communication programmes growing loyalty in our supporter base. The aim is to maximise the value of our long-term relationships with individual supporters.
This role is a varied one, with superb development opportunities. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for the print-based communications we send to our supporters but also email production with the view of developing the loyalty digital journey. Furthermore, you'll contribute to the development of our legacy and in memory activities, and high value offer. You'll also have the opportunity to support the supporter acquisition team on projects to gain new donors. IPSEA (Independent Provider of Special Education Advice) is a national charity providing free and independent legally-based information, advice, and casework support to help children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) get the education they are entitled to by law. We also deliver training to parents, carers, and professionals to improve understanding of the SEND legal framework.
With the Government expected to publish a White Paper that could significantly alter the SEND legal landscape, IPSEA is undertaking two major campaigns: one to protect existing legal rights, and another to make SEN Support a legal requirement.
IPSEA is co-leading the Save Our Children’s Rights (SOCR) campaign alongside Special Needs Jungle, Learning Disability Today, SEND National Crisis, SOS!SEN, SEND Rights Alliance and others committed to defending children's rights. This campaign was launched in response to reports that the government is considering reforms that could weaken the legal rights of children and young people with SEND; particularly the right to an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan in mainstream schools. It calls on the Government to retain the current legal framework, ensure the SEND system is properly funded and accountable, and avoid any rollback of statutory protections.
In parallel, IPSEA is working in partnership with the charity Contact to advocate for placing SEN Support on a statutory footing. Currently, schools have limited legal obligations to support pupils with SEN who do not have an EHC plan.
This campaign seeks to establish stronger, enforceable duties on schools to provide SEN support, alongside increased investment, so that more children can have their needs met without requiring an EHC plan
Consequently, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Campaigns Manager to coordinate this work - working with our IPSEA teams, amplifying our voice, and supporting our fundraising efforts during this critical period. The Campaigns Manager will play a key role in driving forward this initiative, engaging stakeholders, mobilising public support, and influencing policy outcomes.
Who are we looking for?
You’ll need substantial experience in planning and delivering successful high-profile campaigns, managing campaign budgets and evaluating impact. With strong project management skills, you’ll be able to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. You’ll also have an in-depth understanding of public affairs, media relations and/or fundraising campaigns in the charity or not-for-profit sector. Using digital tools and platforms for campaigning and supporter engagement, you’ll be able to translate complex issues into accessible messages.
IPSEA should also reflect the communities we support. About the role

Core responsibilities within your role will be to:
