Job Title: Forensic Psychologist

About the Role
A stimulating and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Practitioner Psychologist with a Forensic background. You will work alongside the Group Psychological Lead and other members of the team within our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) to deliver psychological services to residents and staff. In this role, you will apply your skills and knowledge in building new teams and expand our operational delivery within our IAP. You will play a strategic role in our organisational growth with new services, with a focus on shaping service delivery; offering specialist advice, supervising assistant psychologists and postgraduate research.
Our IAP's support people who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. They are given support and guidance to aid their reablement, resettlement and rehabilitation post prison. You will contribute towards them achieving goals necessary for their personal development and move on within the community.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing high quality psychological services, contributing to the delivery of Approved Premises aims as specified by the Ministry of Justice.
- Ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics.
- Demonstrating clinical leadership by setting direction for the psychological service and driving high standards for quality, safety and ongoing improvement.
- Exercising clinical responsibility for residents’ psychological care, showing skill and judgement in selecting appropriate assessments and interventions.
- Consulting with other parties contributing to a resident’s diagnosis, formulation, treatment and risk management in the community.
- Create opportunities to collaborate with peers including AP-based psychologists nationally and OPD pathway psychologists delivering services to APs.

- Ability to understand and apply safeguarding protocols as they arise

As Service Manager for our Lambeth PRS and Refugee Resettlement services (maternity cover), you’ll step into a visible, high-impact leadership role overseeing two established teams supporting families resettled in Lambeth through government refugee schemes and people transitioning from rough sleeping into private rented or social housing.
Day to day, you’ll be leading and developing a team of eight Support Workers, setting the standard for high-quality, trauma-informed and strengths-based support. About The Role
Hilldrop Road is a registered care home providing long term accommodation, support and care to up to 29 men with a history of alcohol misuse, homelessness and mental health conditions, with related physical health needs. The service has staff working on a rota basis including evenings and weekends as well as bank holidays and sleep-in shifts.
In this highly fulfilling role you will actively provide personal and physical care support to residents and enable them to access health, social and personal care services that will empower them to live fulfilling lives with dignity in a social care setting.
All residents are in receipt of ongoing recovery orientated needs assessment and support plans that actively promote their personal, social, cultural and familial identity, as well as specifying the health provision required to maintain as much independence as practicable in a registered care setting.

We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking and assertive individual who is committed to providing the highest standards of care to our residents. You should be a conscientious person who must be able to demonstrate capability of responding appropriately to a variety of needs from our resident group.

Kairos Women Working Together (Kairos) was founded in 1999 by a group of women in Coventry who recognised that those facing multiple disadvantages, and therefore most at risk of sexual exploitation, were falling through the cracks of existing services. From grassroots beginnings, Kairos has grown into a respected, feminist led, specialist women’s organisation rooted in the community it serves.
Over the next 5 years, Kairos will strengthen our new Women’s Hub as a safe, accessible, trauma-informed women’s centre delivering best practice responses, expand our services to meet women’s needs, strengthen partnerships, and influence systems so that no woman is left behind.
To do this we are seeking an organised, empathetic, and proficient individual to ensure the smooth operation of our hub.
This part-time role provides essential front-of-house support—greeting and assisting women arriving at the hub with sensitivity and professionalism —while also handling a broad range of administrative duties. From digital communications to accurate data entry & record keeping, ordering supplies and liaising with key partners and contractors you’ll help ensure our hub is kept safe, clean and ready for us to welcome visitors and women attending our groups and services.

Salary: £65,000
Location: Paul’s Place Hub, Shire Way, Yate, Bristol BS37 8YS
Hybrid working (minimum three days onsite)
28 days annual leave + bank holidays
5% matched pension contribution
