The Impact & Grants Manager will work as part of the Philanthropy Fund team to help guide our high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients in their grant making, revealing to clients the impact their generosity has achieved.  Performing thorough and appropriate research on causes that fulfil their giving strategy, you will also empower them to make fulfilling decision summary of the role.

As more wealth passes to the next generation, impact measurement is an increasingly critical aspect of philanthropy, and you will be released to lead the development of this area.

Further to this, the Impact & Grants Manager will give high priority to partner relationships, ensuring transparency and good governance.  You will work closely with the Senior Grants Manager, Relationship Managers and Account Managers to provide an excellent team service for our Philanthropy Fund clients.

The Philanthropy Fund is a growing service, and this role is designed to add expertise and capacity to develop its excellent provision.  You will have the opportunity to learn multiple aspects of the service, and refine the role over time according to emerging client needs.

The Royal Osteoporosis Society – Director of Income and Engagement

Location: Dependant on distance, the role will be either fully remote with occasional travel to the Bath office (around once per quarter), or hybrid for those based nearby.

The Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS), the UK’s largest national charity dedicated to improving bone health and beating osteoporosis, is seeking a bold and dynamic fundraising and communications leader who can drive transformative income growth and galvanise public engagement.

Half of women aged over 50 live with osteoporosis, plus a fifth of men.  The condition causes bones to break (fracture) following everyday occurrences – e.g. sneezes, coughs and falls.  Fractures are the fourth worst cause of disability and premature death, but most people with osteoporosis are undiagnosed.

ROS works to improve diagnosis and access to care for the unacceptably high number of people whose lives risk being destroyed by this highly treatable condition each day. They equip people with practical information and support to take action on their bone health and, working with healthcare professionals and academics, influence and shape policy and practice at every level. The charity’s research arm is investigating new diagnostic approaches, including the world’s first screening programme, as well as novel treatments to beat osteoporosis for good.

This is a pivotal time for ROS as they aim to seize on momentum garnered from half a million people checking their risk, two national media partnerships, a groundbreaking Ministerial pledge to roll-out early diagnosis clinics to every area, and more people than ever engaging with their services. They aim to lead a movement for change around bone health similar to those that have gained widespread attention by menopause and prostate cancer campaigners.

To capitalise on this momentum and as the charity prepares for its 40th anniversary, the time is right for ROS to step up fundraising and public engagement to address one of the most urgent threats to people living well in later life and meet the charity’s vision - No more broken bones, no more broken lives. To achieve this, the ROS Board has committed to investing up to 80% of annual designated spent into developing fundraising every year up to 2030.

To deliver on this investment, the ROS team is seeking a creative and inspiring fundraising and communications leader who can build strong partnerships, harness digital innovation and create and deepen supporter journeys to convert awareness into long-term support.

As well as driving the delivery of a transformational audience-centric growth strategy, the role-holder will also be responsible for building a powerful organisational brand to reflect ROS’s vision and impact, as well as compelling communications and media plans to drive momentum. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of senior leadership experience and possess outstanding business acumen. They will have proven success in developing and delivering income generation and communication strategies within the health or not-for-profit sector. They should also have extensive experience of setting and delivering an organisational income development vision and securing buy-in from colleagues at the most senior level. Experience in building and maintaining a strong brand profile and of driving impactful communications and PR to underpin income generation will be essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across department boundaries and externally to achieve organisational goals. Finally, they will have a ‘can do’ personality with the gravitas, energy, creativity and solutions-focused mindset to drive transformative income growth.

As Head of Homelessness and Complex Needs, you’ll lead the delivery, development and growth of Concrete services, to enable us to achieve our ambition of making homelessness history. You will strategically and operationally lead and coach all teams to deliver a range of services across North Staffordshire and Cheshire East. 

Job requirements 

• Lead Concrete’s homelessness housing and support services across Staffordshire and Cheshire East. 

• Define and review services to ensure that the needs of customers are met, and develop new and existing services for Concrete’s customers, with a focus on preventative measures. 

• Manage property portfolios, acquisitions, and developments. 

• Raise awareness of homelessness and promote the work of Concrete to make homelessness history.

What we’re looking for 

• Good standard of education GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent, with a relevant qualification in housing/social care/support services and with evidence of career progression and self-development.

• Experience building positive working relationships with commissioners, funding schemes and partners. 

• Experience managing, coaching and developing people at Team Leader level or above, across multiple services and locations. 

• Knowledge and experience of managing contracts and services, with effective management of teams within funded and regulated services. 

• Up to date with current issues, practices and laws within safeguarding, homelessness, mental health and housing. 

• Great written and verbal communication skills and experience working with people at all levels.

As one of two PR Managers, you'll be the key point of contact for all PR communications, helping to develop and execute forward-thinking PR plans and strategies. Responsible for implementing and managing a proactive PR activity schedule, you’ll craft compelling content to entice journalists and the media to support our work. Want to help reimagine youth work for a new generation? The Bridge Youth Project, in partnership with St Paul’s Church, is creating a brand-new role — Third Space Youth Lead — to develop meaningful, faith-rooted connections with young people outside the classroom. You’ll pioneer creative, relational, community-based youth engagement that brings Christian hope and presence into the everyday spaces young people inhabit.

Across Salisbury’s schools, something sacred is unfolding. Through the ministry of chaplaincy, young people are not only encountering the Christian story—they’re engaging with it. There is a growing openness, a hunger to go deeper, and in some, a readiness to own and articulate faith. Yet for many, those germinating seeds have nowhere to grow. There’s no natural community to nurture belief, no clear bridge between their experience in school and a life of ongoing discipleship. The result? What should be a comma, sadly becomes a full stop.

This role exists to change that.

The Third Space Youth Lead is a unique partnership between The Bridge Youth Project and St Paul’s Church, Salisbury, bringing together two missional contexts with one unified purpose: to help young people move from curiosity to commitment, and from early encounters with faith into meaningful, sustained discipleship.

Half of this role is embedded at St Paul’s, leading a vibrant and growing youth ministry for young people aged 11–18, offering regular gatherings, discipleship pathways, mentoring, and opportunities for leadership. The other half leads our new Third Space ministry, working in close collaboration with Bridge Chaplains to create invitational, community-rooted spaces beyond school and church walls, spaces where young people can belong, explore, and grow in their faith journey.

The Development Manager will play a pivotal role in deepening the connections between the school and our alumni and parent community to inspire financial support. We are entering the early stages of a new major philanthropic campaign, which will significantly scale the ambition for the school’s fundraising and engagement activity. This is a fundraising position which involves leading on our operational effectiveness and developing effective communication techniques to help deliver the school’s philanthropic objectives. You will be required to assist the Director of Development in managing an effective portfolio of fundraising streams, securing regular giving donations, whilst also stewarding our donors effectively, creating innovative and compelling ways to demonstrate the impact of their philanthropic support.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will need to:

• Be able to demonstrate a track record of securing, administering, and stewarding gifts at any level, or experience in leading income generation activity through regular giving programmes within the charitable sector.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all constituents in the King’s community, including alumni, parents, and pupils to encourage lifelong engagement through participation, advocacy, and support.
• Be a great problem solver with the ability to work laterally to identify opportunities and provide solutions to fundraising challenges.
• Assist the Director of Development in prioritising prospects, through a thorough research strategy, leading the regular giving activity and helping to implement the development fundraising strategy to support the school’s vision and bursary ambitions.
• Demonstrate self-awareness and understand how to bring others with them to collectively make a contribution to our wider social aims.
• Work systematically and maintain the strong support ecosystem that is in place, including the identification, research, and management of supporters, donor stewardship and acknowledgement, gift administration and due diligence procedures.
• Demonstrate a high level of written and oral communication, with a keen eye for attention to detail.
• Show a passion for fundraising and the need to make giving more effective for all level of donors by demonstrating increased impact across all fundraising initiatives.
• Be able to work independently and effectively, is comfortable with ambiguity and has a proven ability to manage competing priorities both operational and strategic in nature.
• Be experienced in using donor and potential donor relationship management systems, for example Raiser’s Edge or Toucan Tech.
• Be a flexible and supportive team player, who is willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever is required.

About this role:

This role supports the service across Bedford Borough. As a Team Leader for the Specialist Services team you will:

• Offer a consistent representative for the twice weekly MARAC
• Be a SPOC for the Front Door - giving advice and support around queries/ concerns about DA
• Carry a reduced caseload
• Support the Safe & Together model
• have line manage responsibilities including Bedford Borough IDVA

You will need:

• A qualification as an IDVA or ISAC
• Experience of developing and maintaining partnerships and pathways within a multi-agency and legislative framework
• Knowledge of legislation relating to equal opportunities and diversity, safeguarding and risk assessments
• Practical understanding of the requirement for confidentiality and safe working practice and maintenance of files in accordance with the Data Protection Act and other legal requirements
• Experience of working in a challenging and changing environment with an emphasis on customer focus and excellence in service delivery
• Demonstrable experience of providing crisis management, support and guidance in sometimes stressful and difficult situations to a team with a client service focus
• Have excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals
• Work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner
• Gather, analyse and use information and evidence from different sources to solve problems and report on data quality and compliance
• Sound IT expertise with the ability to use a range of software including: Word, Excel and Case Management systems
• Self-aware and committed to own continuous development

Would you like to contribute to a unique research programme that plays a key role in advancing knowledge about cancer prevention?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on World Cancer Research Fund International’s Global Cancer Update Programme (CUP Global). CUP Global (previously known as CUP) is a unique, long-standing, and rigorous research programme that systematically gathers, analyses, and judges the strength of the global evidence on how diet, nutrition, physical activity and body weight affect cancer risk and survival. This work led to the publication of the authoritative Third Expert Report in 2018, which now needs updating in places to remain relevant and impactful. 

As Senior Research Interpretation Officer, you will be a valuable member of the Research Interpretation team and the CUP Global scientific Secretariat. Your core work will be supporting the management of CUP Global on a day-to-day basis to help deliver its main objective of updating the Third Expert Report. You will provide scientific input, administrative support, and help coordinate specific work areas of CUP Global.

We are looking to recruit someone who has a Masters degree in public health sciences, particularly nutrition and/or cancer research, and with a good understanding of epidemiological concepts. We are seeking someone with experience of writing scientifically, copywriting, editing and proofreading, with good attention to detail and with experience of reviewing and interpreting scientific research/literature. We require someone who can co-ordinate and manage projects, who can produce concise, well-constructed, written communications with the ability to present orally to various audiences in a clear and persuasive manner, and who can provide administrative support, including taking meeting minutes and writing professional emails.

WCRF International is a not-for-profit organisation that leads and unifies a network of cancer prevention charities based in Europe, the Americas and Asia and is responsible for cancer prevention science, policy, strategic and operational direction to the network charities.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the smooth running of our Programmes and Operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our logistics, partnerships, and communications run efficiently, allowing us to reach and support more young people. You will work closely with suppliers, referrers, and our internal team to coordinate key aspects of our programmes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme & Operations Support

• Support the coordination of OSH’s residentials, events, and programmes, ensuring logistics run smoothly.

• Arrange bookings (e.g. facilitators, venues, catering, transport) to ensure contracts and payments are managed efficiently.

• Assist in staff recruitment and volunteer management with recruitment, interview scheduling, onboarding, inductions, organising meetings and receiving feedback.

• Manage resources in our lock up (based in Hornsey)

Administrative & Organisational Support

• Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Handle general inquiries via email and phone, acting as a key point of contact for external stakeholders.

• Support the team with minute-taking in meetings.

Partnerships & Referrals

• Communicate with referrers (such as youth groups, schools, social workers, and community organisations) to ensure young people are referred and engaged in our programmes.

• Support with phoning participants and referrers to support them to complete sign up forms where necessary

• Track and monitor referral processes, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups with referrers to maximise participation at our events

• Maintain good relationships with external partners such as venues, facilitators, transport companies and other organisations we work with. 

Finance & Compliance Support

• Assist with financial administration, such as processing invoices, logging donations, and tracking expenses.

• Ensure OSH meets data protection and safeguarding requirements, keeping records up to date.

Other duties

• Getting involved in OSH events in the evenings and at weekends, including residentials. These are overnight trips from 2 to 5 nights

• Other duties as may be required from time to time

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Experience in the charity, youth, or refugee/migrant sector.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Confident in communicating with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and problem-solve.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.

• IT proficient, including experience with email, spreadsheets, and document management.

• Knowledge of financial administration (e.g. processing invoices).

• Understanding of and commitment to data protection principles and maintaining confidentiality. 

• Ability to speak in other languages relevant to our community, including Arabic, Pashto, Farsi, Tigrinya, Amharic, and Oromo.
