- Supervise the Operations Team in line with goals and objectives agreed by the Operations Manager, providing motivation, coaching and direction on a day-to-day basis.
- Be the point of contact to assist and support members of the Operations Team in relation to member escalations and queries.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to manage and plan current and future workload to ensure the team meets deadlines, provides an exceptional service and reaches service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop comprehensive and presentable reports to support data-led decision making, renewals tracking, KPI targets or to provide insights.
- Management of budget lines assigned to operational activities to ensure favourable terms are achieved.

CST Client Advisor
Role:
As a CST Client Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients transitioning from military to civilian life by providing tracking, referral, and job matching services. The Finance department of c.100 roles provides various accounting, assurance, advisory, decision support and financial processing functions for the whole university.
The Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) is a critical role within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance division that will lead, develop and deliver high quality finance business partnering and decision support to all the central services of the university, including providing financial planning, reporting and insight across revenue and capital funded activity.
You will support the senior Director of the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance function in development and improvement projects. Examples include the development of a professional competencies framework to support career progression and performance at all levels, supported by learning and development opportunities, improving key processes, resource allocation and financial planning methodologies, and reporting on financial performance.
As part of the function’s senior management team, this role will lead a team of finance business partners who will provide outstanding partnering services to our central services including large functions such as Estates and Facilities, IT, Students & Education, Research Management and on other crucial ‘head office’ activities. Working closely with the corporate reporting team on the provision of management accounts, you will lead on financial performance support in-year and across our three-year financial planning framework. Established success in coaching managers and leaders on various HR matters is essential to this role, empowering them to manage risk, resolve conflict, support their team members to excel at work, and foster cohesion and trust within a hybrid workforce. This Early Intervention approach will enable young people to access support in a timely way within their own community and we will work collaboratively with the Hackney Super Youth Hub enabling a one stop shop experience for local young people.
We are looking for passionate and motivated Therapeutic Youth Workers who are committed to supporting positive change for local young people to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
· Undertake 1:1, group, detached and outreach work with young people
· Provide one-to-one key-working up to 12 sessions, combining youth work values and principles with a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to help address a wide range of issues that may impact on young people’s mental health and wellbeing e.g. housing, employment, physical health, education, finances and relationships.
· Use a supportive, young person-centred approach. e.g. explaining what services are and what they do, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date, filling out forms together, making personal introductions, accompanying young people to initial meetings/sessions, being with them during phone calls etc.
· To work with the Hackney Super Youth Hub, to support young people and liaise with appropriate professionals in the network.
· To maintain confidential, up to date and accurate records of all sessions and plans.
· Be an advocate for young people, supporting colleagues to understand adolescence, and how to engage with young people, particularly with concerns around:
o mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
o Supporting vulnerable groups who would not otherwise receive support (levelling-up).
o Improving children and young people’s engagement with EET.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
· QCF Level 3 Diploma in Youth work or equivalent and have experience of youth work in a youth work setting
· Experience of working with young people, delivering therapeutic groups and/or 1 to 1 interventions in a youth work or similar setting.
· To have an active interest in working with those affected by mental health issues and recognise the impact this has on their life.
· Experience of building positive, impactful relationships with young people responding to their needs
· Excellent, up to date knowledge and understanding of safeguarding needs and risks young people may face.
· Experienced in working as part of a safeguarding team around a child, i.e. Childrens services, education, CAMHS, etc
· Experience of working in with an outreach role, in the community and school settings.
· Confident working well independently as well as in a team setting.
· Ability to use own initiative and be able to respond to change as part of a pilot initiative.
· Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite (incl. Outlook and Word), with ability to accurately input sensitive data electronically

About this role…
Assessment Centres are fast paced services where people are referred in, usually from the street, and rapidly referred on to appropriate longer term accommodation. The services are short stay, and staff provide wrap around support and liaison with several external partners, including physical health, mental health, substance use and housing. Staffed 24 hours to ensure this quick turnaround, they are a key service to ensure people are off the streets and in stable accommodation.
We are looking for a Night Manager to work across our accommodation projects, with a specific focus and managerial responsibility in our assessment centres based in Hackney, City of London and Lambeth.
You will:
- Be responsible for directly managing employees who work at night
- Ensure that Thames Reach policies and best practice are understood and put into practice, and that employees working at night have access to regular in person supervision and training
- Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

We are looking for an exceptional leader to lead on delivery of our community based support within the London Borough of Islington. You will be comfortable with managing risk and a calm, reflective operational leader able to support staff who are often working in crisis response mode. You will have used your experience of working in a service delivery environment to identify and implement service improvements. You will have good data literacy and eye for detail, particularly around service utilisation and reporting.

- Able to speak Romani or Romanian fluently or to a high level.
