Role Summary 

Bliss is the UK’s leading national charity for babies born premature or sick, and we are looking for a skilled Trusts and Foundations Programme Lead to join our enthusiastic and passionate Fundraising team. You will bring your skills in bid writing, stewardship, and high-value relationship management to deepen our engagement with trusts and foundations, and to identify and secure new opportunities for funding.

Historically, Bliss has worked with external consultant support to manage our trusts and foundations fundraising. This is a new role within the organisation as we look to take a more meaningful, relationship-based approach to our trusts and foundations donors. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven experience in trusts and foundations fundraising looking for a part-time position to make a real difference for babies and families.

Role Details 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven experience in trusts and foundations to make a real difference as part of a small, dynamic and dedicated charity. Working closely with Bliss’ senior management team and managing the relationship with our fundraising consultants, you’ll work with a high degree of autonomy to strengthen and grow our support from trusts and foundations.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: 

· Proven experience of writing bids to successfully secure five- or six-figure and multi-year grants.

· Excellent relationship management skills; the ability to quickly build trusting relationships with funders, partners and colleagues of all levels.

· Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling cases for support.

· Influencing skills, including demonstrable experience of effectively working with senior colleagues and/or external stakeholders.

Programme Delivery Officer role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of the First Give programme in up 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, plus providing guidance and troubleshooting for the lead teachers at First Give partner schools.

The role will be hybrid, with 3 days a week in our main offices in West Hampstead, London. Regular travel to schools across London and the South East will be required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistic and programme support to teachers delivering the First Give programme at their school, including but not limited to:

About the role:

Kinship are seeking to recruit experienced event co-ordinators with a whole range of skills and great energy to join our brand-new training team. They will be responsible for delivering this first ever programme of its type supporting kinship carers across England in their caring role. 

As a pivotal part of the team, you’ll be supporting delivery of high-quality in-person and online training events across England. Fundraising Public Relations Officer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PR and marketing professional in our London fundraising office to design and deliver creative, multi-channel, integrated fundraising and PR campaigns designed to significantly increase the Hospital’s voluntary income.

The success of this role will be dependent on engaging and building meaningful long-term relationships with both existing and new supporters through effective donor stewardship, attending events, and networking.  

The successful candidate will work in conjunction with a small, dedicated team to provide fundraising, comms, and event support to our community fundraising groups.  

High quality comms and media are going to be central to our plans to go public in a big way in 2024.  Creating high-quality, impactful, and engaging content for multimedia platforms will be key. You’ll be able to identify stories from across the organisation, draw out information and ideas from others, and successfully turn complicated or clinical information into clear, simple, and compelling narratives.  

The role requires a creative thinker with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Main responsibilities:

Fundraising

· Develop and implement integrated fundraising, marketing and PR campaigns designed to significantly increase the Hospital’s voluntary income.

· Create and promote compelling and engaging content for web, social media, and email – ensuring that all comms have clear goals and outcomes.

· Manage the key relationships with the Guild fundraising Committee and the SOA fundraising committee including comms, marketing, and event support as well as helping to manage the key relationships with the Knights Templar sub-groups, and the County Priory Groups across the UK.

In the role of Rent Service Partner, you will:

• Deliver a high quality rent collection and arrears recovery service, supporting our clients by working towards minimising rent arrears and maximising client income.
• Oversee a busy and varied case load of rent arrears cases ensuring outcomes are achieved in a timely manner.
• Use your attention to detail and expert knowledge to complete accurate court applications and present cases to court.  
• Provide an accurate, sensitive and responsive rent account enquiry and information service.

They are looking for people with experience of working in a rent service, income collection or credit control team, with good problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team. If you can demonstrate the below, we encourage you to apply.

They will have a focus on trusts but be invited to learn more about other areas of fundraising too. The successful candidate will be offered the time and space to excel in their research, writing and analytical skills. We will also offer them the chance to take part in face-to-face external meetings with funders, to become involved in events, and in other areas of fundraising where possible.

CEASE (the Centre to End All Sexual Exploitation) is a national human rights charity. Our mission is to expose and dismantle the cultural and commercial forces driving all forms of sexual exploitation in the UK. Sexual exploitation does not occur in a vacuum, and only by addressing the wider context can we hope for real, lasting change.
As a charity, we join the dots between our hypersexualised, objectifying, pornified culture and public attitudes and behaviours towards sex:
• We demonstrate how the mass consumption of online pornography depicting the humiliation, violation and degradation of women and children has realworld consequences.
• We shine a light on the widespread exploitation and harm caused by commercial sex industries that undermine our human rights.
