About the Role
We're hiring a Engagement Worker to join our team based in within a Men’s Housing Accommodation Support Service (HASS) residential service in the Catford area. The project provides 6-bed supported accommodation for men with complex needs, including mental health challenges, offending histories, trauma, homelessness, and social exclusion. The service operates within a psychologically informed environment (PIE) and is delivered by a mixed-gender staff team, working closely together to provide consistent, relational support.
You will support within the Offender Personality Disorder Housing Accommodation to support in successfully rehabilitating and reintegrating our residents back into the community. The service delivers support for people in the criminal justice system who are deemed high risk, and likely to meet criteria for personality disorder. Penrose OPD HASS service offers specialist accommodation to people with high risk/high needs and require intensive support to overcome barriers to resettlement and progress towards independent living in the community. You will assist with those who have recently been released from prison, secure health settings, or are transitioning from Approved Premises. Your work will be guided by co-produced support plans, developed in partnership with each individual to reflect their goals and circumstances.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with strong people skills and a background in biological monitoring and data to provide leadership across BTO’s monitoring and data programme, and to work as a small team of senior science leads to support the Director of Science leading BTO’s Science Department. The post will oversee the line management of a number of existing science heads of team, and work collaboratively with many others to achieve strategic and operational goals. The role requires demonstrable experience in supporting, motivating, and leading experienced teams and excellent people management and influencing skills. It will also require experience in developing strategic vision, setting measures of success, securing funding, and ensuring delivery of multiple and often complex projects. The post holder will need skills in, and a passion for, communicating internally and externally; and a background in leading long-term ecological monitoring, citizen science and/or the management of large ecological datasets. Although primarily a management role, there will be opportunities to oversee project development, management and delivery of work within the monitoring and data programme, and particularly to use the postholder's technical skills to provide strategic and cross-cutting leadership to relevant areas across the BTO. The postholder will be responsible overall for teams comprising over 30 staffand directly line manage the Head of Surveys, Head of Ringing and Nest Recording and Head of Data Science and Bioacoustics teams. Ideally, the postholder will be based out of the BTO HQ in Thetford, but we would, for the right candidate, consider staff working out of the BTO offices in Stirling, Bangor or Lisburn, near Belfast. RCJ Advice is an independent charity, based originally out of the Royal Courts of Justice in central London, providing a number of local and national services.
In collaboration with national Citizens Advice, we run a national service which provides advice and support to staff and volunteers from local Citizens Advice charities across England & Wales on immigration legal matters, enabling them to better support their clients. By supporting the local charities, we can help build their confidence and knowledge to deal with queries themselves in the future.
We deliver this service through a national telephone helpline, and this role will provide advice and guidance focused on Level 1 and 2 queries.
At RCJ Advice, the Immigration team consists of two paralegals and one solicitor. Both paralegals work on the helpline most days. Whilst the service is primarily there to deal with enquiries through a helpline, there will be an opportunity to support casework. You will come with a level of understanding of immigration law/rules, and will have been giving immigration advice for at least six months, whether solely or as part of giving general advice. We are looking for someone with energy, motivation and experience of working with vulnerable adults; someone who a highly developed sense of self-awareness who can work in a gender and trauma informed way.
This role will be part of a small team of support workers, and a service manager, who deliver a call and email-based case work system. This might be in the VAWG sector, domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health or counselling or direct experience of women in the sex industry. About the role
Guided by Nene Park Trust's Business Plan and Fundraising Strategy, the Head of Fundraising will lead and develop a comprehensive fundraising programme across all income streams. You will need to be highly competent at applying to Trusts and Foundations, including Lottery funders - our most lucrative channel for charitable income, whilst also able to drive the growth of our corporate and individual fundraising programmes which are at an exciting stage of development.
As the senior member of the Fundraising Team, you will oversee and lead innovative fundraising campaigns, appeals and events, and build and steward lasting relationships with donors, partners and supporters at local and national levels.
You will lead and manage the Fundraising Team, setting clear objectives, supporting professional development and driving high performance aligned to the Trust's values and culture. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, you will ensure fundraising activity is well-coordinated, compliant and mpactful, helping to secure the income needed to realise the Trust's considerable ambitions.

Right now, we are looking for a Waking Nights Recovery Worker to play a pivotal role in our Complex Needs Service in Tower Hamlets, Huddlestone.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
As a Waking Nights Recovery Worker, you will provide person-centred support to adults with complex mental health needs during overnight hours, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and recovery. You will monitor the security of the building, conduct health and safety checks, respond to crises, support individuals through mental health relapses, and work collaboratively to develop and review support, safety, and risk management plans. The role also includes housing management duties, record keeping, and promoting positive outcomes that enable service users to live more independently.
What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
We are looking for candidates with experience supporting people with mental health and complex needs, ideally including substance misuse. You will have a good understanding of recovery-focused support, strong communication and record-keeping skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with service users in challenging situations. Competence in using IT systems, knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices, and the flexibility to work waking night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays are essential.

You will be self-motivated, organised, and passionate about supporting vulnerable people through securing sustainable funding.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension subject to the availability of future funding.
