The Young Roots Casework Service aims to improve the life chances of young refugees and asylum seekers and to support them to reach their potential by accessing their rights and entitlements.
Young Roots has a strong ethos of youth participation, believing that young refugees and asylum seekers are capable of and should be supported in advocating for their rights and making decisions. We believe that young refugees and asylum seekers should be free from discrimination and treated equally and enjoy the full range of human rights. The Advice & Support Caseworker will be responsible for providing intensive 1-to-1 practical and emotional support to young refugees and asylum seekers (11 to 25 years old). The caseworker will manage their own caseload and work closely with the Brent Casework Team and Hub Partners. They will support the Services Manager with monitoring and evaluation of the service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a housing adviser to join our advice services team and provide advice and casework on a range of housing issues such as social housing allocations, homelessness applications and reviews, S21 notices and rent arrears. The role will involve casework and advocacy on behalf of clients to local authorities, housing associations and private landlords, as well as giving one off advice by telephone, email or at outreach sessions.
You will have at least 1 years' experience of providing advice on a range of housing issues, with an awareness and understanding of the benefits system, in particular as it relates to housing costs. You will be confident in giving advice over the phone and digitally as well as providing casework support to clients. You will share our passion for tackling poverty and injustice and will have a commitment to working in an anti-oppressive, non-discriminatory and empowering way with people from a range of backgrounds and experiences.

About the role

Advocate is a national charity which matches volunteer barristers eager to undertake pro bono work with those who need legal assistance but cannot obtain public funding (legal aid) and cannot afford to pay for it.
We are looking for two caseworkers, a triage caseworker and a general caseworker. The triage caseworker's role is to deal with all new applications and to make early and rapid assessments of the presenting problem, efficiently and effectively identifying issues and ensuring that applicants can progress through our system. About the role:
This role is home working based with travel in the London Area.
As a Homicide Service Children's and Young People caseworker you will be:
- Delivering a specialist service to children and young people (CYP) bereaved by homicide, and for those CYP who have witnessed a homicide.

Role purpose
Compass is a service designed to support adults (18 years and over) in H&F and Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, debt, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops.
The role of the Information and Advice Worker will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to H&F and Hounslow residents living with mental health problems. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, debt, signposting etc.
The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the project manager. In addition to advice casework, the Advice Worker will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service when needed.
The successful candidate will be required to work alongside other caseworkers and volunteers supporting on the project and report to the project manager.

Women and Girls Network (WGN) was established in 1987 and has spent over 30 years supporting women and girls across London affected by gendered violence. This includes childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, prostitution (including trafficking and sexual exploitation), female genital mutilation (FGM), and so-called 'honour' based crimes such as forced marriage.
We are now looking for looking for an experienced and dynamic Pan-London Specialist Housing Caseworker to join our highly successful Advice Casework Service.
About the role
The Advice Casework Service provides trauma-informed, intersectional, woman-centred, rights and strengths-based advocacy and advice that supports survivors on their unique journey of healing and growth. The work is delivered through a commitment to an anti-oppressive, feminist framework that strives to address additional barriers and meet the diverse range of survivors needs, understanding the specific support needs of each survivor. We are passionate about social justice and being part of dismantling systems and structures which oppress survivors, and Caseworkers play a key role in identifying current issues affecting survivors in London and opportunities for change.
As a Caseworker you will work with young women (18-30) who have experienced any form of violence against women and girls (VAWG), providing medium and long-term practical, emotional and advocacy support. You will amplify young women’s voices and create a non-judgemental and creative space where survivors are free to be their authentic selves, safely explore their rights, options and impact of their experiences, and make informed choices about their future. You will manage a caseload of young women, as well as lead in delivering our one-off drop-in specialist practical support to sessions to young women as part of the Voice and Choice Project.
About you
The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing specialist advocacy support to young people, have an excellent insight into the needs of survivors of VAWG and to be passionate about delivering creative face-to-face sessions to young people. AIM OF ROLE:
The aim of the requalification caseworker is to work with clients that apply to our requalification, loan and employment programme. This includes processing loan applications and conducting loan interviews, loan administration, client casework and supporting relationships with professional bodies. You will develop learning plans, attend sector-specific events, network to build a robust toolbox of support for clients, research pathways and offer advice and guidance to prospective clients, current clients and other programmes within RefuAid.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Casework; directly working with clients from loan application to loan repayment - conducting check-ins and supporting clients with re-qualification, loan and other related issues.
● Casework; ensuring clients are well supported and signposting or referring to support services where required.
● Providing guidance and career advice - overlooking CVs, supporting job interview preparation and searches, sending tailored resources, writing references and signposting.
● Meeting clients face to face whether in the office or visiting loan and re-qualification recipients all over the UK - this can be a mixture of London-based and national.

About the Service
The Bexley Solace Advocacy and Support Service (SASS) is a team made up of specialist IDVAs. We work with all levels of risk and work closely with our partner agencies to ensure victims/survivors of domestic abuse receive a good standard of service.
About the Role
The Duty Worker acts as the first point of contact for service users and professionals accessing the Bexley SASS service. As the Duty Worker you will be responsible for processing new referrals, undertaking assessments with survivors of abuse and providing ongoing support to a small caseload of standard to medium risk survivors.
About You
The ideal candidate would have demonstrable experience of working with those affected by domestic and/or sexual violence and experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of a diverse and vulnerable client group.
You will have some knowledge of housing, welfare and policy relating to domestic/sexual violence, as well as excellent administrative and time management skills; including multi-tasking and using excel.
You will also have the ability to effectively manage a caseload.
You will have a good understanding of the causes and dynamics of domestic and sexual abuse, including its impact on victims/survivors,. A flexible approach to your work and a commitment to the values of Solace Women’s Aid is essential.

We have been part of the wider Debt Free Advice partnership for over a decade and have success in delivering high quality debt advice to local residents who are facing financial difficulties. The demand for the service in light of the cost of living crisis has increased substantially over recent years and we are looking to expand our team.
We are seeking an experienced debt advice caseworker who has a proven track record in helping and assisting clients facing financial difficulties and providing creative solutions to help alleviate their challenges in a sensitive and supportive role. They will have an awareness of having successfully provided debt advice in a regulated environment.
The successful candidate would be expected to work a hybrid model of delivery - in an office environment, outreach sessions as well as home based. They would be expected to provide advice via omni-channels such as face to face, telephone and email advice.
Main responsibilities:
To provide over-indebted Londoners with free, face-to-face/telephone advice that is accurate, effective and tailored to individuals’ circumstances. This includes:
● Provide case work covering the full range of debt - Interviewing those that access our service using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.
● Researching and exploring options and implications so that those accessing our service can make informed decisions.
● Ensuring income maximisation through the appropriate take up of income, including those relating to water charges, benefits, tax and housing.
● Providing in-depth quality advice and on-going casework, including acting for the client where necessary using appropriate communication skills and channels.
● Maintaining detailed case records, ensuring that all work meets all auditing and quality standards and the requirements of the funder.

About the Service
The overall aim of the service is to increase survivor safety over time and to reduce incidents of domestic abuse through awareness raising and filling gaps in service provision, to reduce and remove harm for victim/survivors. The Floating Support Worker (FSW) supports victim/survivors of domestic abuse living in safe accommodation, at any level of risk, on a needs-led basis.
About the Role
As the FSW you will carry out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and support planning with survivors and advocate on their behalf with external agencies. You will provide ongoing casework support, including referrals to specialist advice and practical support, such as legal advice around civil and criminal remedies. You will empower survivors with information on their rights and options, demystifying complex statutory systems and dispelling myths perpetuated by perpetrators and wider society and will provide support to maintain accommodation, or to source permanent accommodation as necessary.
About You
You will have a passion for working with victim/survivors and a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support and strong casework management skills.
You will have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning
