Team: Community Operations
Location: Hybrid based at the Scotland Cat Centre with some time spent home working and work in the community
Work pattern: 35 hours per week to include some weekends and occasional evenings
Salary: Up to £30,809.83 per year
Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities of our Regional Volunteer Team Leader:
- provide high level volunteer management within a designated geographical area
- recruit, induct, train and provide ongoing support to teams of diverse volunteers
- ensure that volunteering best practice standards are applied to all aspects of volunteer management
About the Field Operations team:
- the community operations team is responsible for supporting our volunteers in centres and branches to work towards our strategy – All for Cats.
- our centres and branches care for thousands of cats each year until they are able to find a loving new home.
- the team consists of a Centre Manager, Deputy Centre Manager, Senior Rehoming and Welfare Assistants, Rehoming and welfare assistants and a Receptionist as well as over 100 volunteers in the region

We’re looking for a creative Individual Giving Assistant to support this vital area of our fundraising. You will help deliver a portfolio spanning regular giving, cash appeals, in-memory giving, legacy marketing, raffles and lotteries, with a strong and committed supporter base, you’ll help develop compelling campaigns that connect with supporters and grow and expand our supporter base.
This is a pivotal role in a collaborative, supportive team – and a chance to grow and develop with us as we tell our story, steward our donors, and secure the future of our work.
As the Individual Giving Assistant you will:
• Deliver multi-channel fundraising campaigns and appeals
• Develop ideas and creative for marketing, and track and evaluate the impact of campaigns
• Be a first point of contact for Bath Cats and Dogs Home’s donors and fundraisers, ensuring they receive first class care and stewardship.

We’re looking for a super organised, efficient and supportive Operations Lead to make We Own It run smoothly so we can win public services for people not profit. This is a fast-paced role in a small team with a big mission!
You’ll lead on creating and maintaining effective systems and processes, and supporting the team on logistics so that everything runs like clockwork. You’ll also make sure we’re thanking the brilliant individual donors who fund 93% of our work. We’re looking for someone who has a track record of creating efficiency and order for themselves and other people - and can do so in a remote context! You'll need to be happy to carry out a variety of tasks and be flexible about your role.
This role is a crucial part of the We Own It team and central to increasing our impact. Part of a small, high performing team working mostly remotely and sometimes in London, you’ll need to be extremely self-motivated and able to work efficiently and autonomously.
