About This Job
This role provides maternity cover for the First Aid Manager within the Cadet Activity team and is responsible for overseeing the delivery and governance of first aid training across the Army Cadets. The post holder will ensure that first aid provision aligns with national governing body requirements, maintain qualification records on the Cadet MIS, and provide expert guidance to volunteers delivering training. The role also involves acting as an Internal Quality Assessor, supporting syllabus development, and promoting first aid provision both internally and externally. In addition, the position supports national training delivery, quality assurance, and the effective management of first aid activities, ensuring safe, consistent and high-quality training opportunities for cadets and volunteers across the UK.

About the Role
As Programme Coordinator for Centres of Excellence, you’ll play a pivotal role in our flagship financial education accreditation programme, supporting schools to strengthen and embed high-quality financial education across their curriculum and their wider communities.

You’ll work collaboratively across departments to ensure we deliver ambitious income targets while also strengthening sustainable income streams such as regular giving, legacy, and repeat giving. As a senior leader you will work flexibly across the Individual Giving portfolio — supporting both your own campaigns and the wider team’s objectives. About MediCinema
MediCinema is a unique national, UK registered charity that improves the wellbeing and enriches the quality of life of NHS patients, their families and carers through the power of the shared cinema experience and the magic of film. We achieve this by building and running cinemas in hospitals and places of care equipped with space for beds, wheelchairs and medical equipment, and providing free films and activities for patients of all ages. Our services help to improve emotional, mental and physical health, reducing isolation, anxiety and stress, and increasing patient resilience to help them cope with what they’re going through.
Our purpose-built in-hospital cinemas are designed to accommodate patients in hospital beds and wheelchairs, on drips or with monitors. Patients are looked after by trained volunteers who accompany them to and from the cinemas, and by two nurses who are present at each inpatient screening. In addition to our regular inpatient screenings, we run Tailored Screenings for specific patient communities, working closely with the patients and clinical teams to co-design experiences that meet the specific needs of each group. We also routinely hold personal screenings for patients who are unable to mix with other patients, are receiving palliative care or are in other sensitive situations. We also run our varied Beyond the Big Screen programme that extends the impact of our services to outside the film screenings, including specially-designed MediCinema activity books, arts & crafts and special character or talent visits. Finally, through our long-standing strategic partnership with Disney, we also design and provide activities on wards and in the MediCinemas as part of our expansive and impactful ‘Moments that Matter’ (MTM) programme.
The Role
We are looking for a Deputy Cinema Manager to join the team at our established MediCinema based in Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) in Newcastle, serving adult patients from the RVI and paediatric patients in the Great North Children’s Hospital.
The post-holder will work with the Cinema Manager and the team of nurses and volunteers who support our MediCinema, and will work closely with them, the hospital, and with central office operations team to prepare for and run successful film screenings each week.
We run 4 regular inpatient screenings each week which includes evenings and weekends. The post holder will be required to work on a shift pattern to include weekends and evenings each week. There will also be a programme of additional Tailored and Personal screenings on top of these regular inpatient screenings.

We are seeking a motivated and highly organised Fundraising Assistant to join our successful and dynamic Fundraising Team. The Fundraising Assistant will be based in Bewick House in the Development and Partnerships Directorate.
As Fundraising Assistant, you will report to, and work closely with, the Grants and Philanthropy Manager, under the overall leadership of the and Director of Development and Partnerships. You will also work with the Senior Philanthropy Officer, Corporate Partnerships Manager, Supporter Development Manager, Corporate Fundraising Officer, Grants Officer, Fundraising Officer (Claims) and Fundraising Officer (Legacies).
You will be joining the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Fundraising team – a supportive, innovative and welcoming team, responsible for Individual Giving, Major Donors, Grants and Trusts, Legacies, Community Fundraising as well as Corporate Supporters. This team is tasked with providing, maintaining and growing the income of the Trust. We have a particularly exciting and challenging period ahead as the Trust in it its centenary year and seeks to source funding for its ambitious strategy “A Wilder Norfolk for All”. With responsibility for the administration of the efforts of the Fundraising Team, you will work closely with colleagues in Nature Conservation, Nature Recovery, the Visitor Centres and PR and Comms, and Engagement.
You will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of NWT’s fundraising systems and effective recording of the Team’s communications and income details on the Trust’s CRM system.

You will play an important role in assisting with the stewardship of our supporters by coordinating our regular contact strategy with donors and provide administrative support to the Director of Development and Partnerships, Grants and Philanthropy Manager and Senior Philanthropy Officer.
Working closely with other fundraising officers, you will make a direct contribution to the work of the team through supporting the Fundraising officers deliver supporter stewardship events, co-ordinating collection boxes, on-line giving schemes and small-scale community giving.

Purpose of the Job
