As Philanthropy Manager, you will:

• Develop and implement Operation Smile UK’s major donor strategy alongside the Director of Partnerships
• Identify and cultivate new major donor prospects through research, networking (internally and externally) and peer-to-peer introductions through supporters and board members

• Strong prospect research and pipeline development skills, including identifying and developing new donor relationships from cold
• Experience and confidence in building rapport and trust with prospective major donors
• Experience engaging trustees, senior volunteers and colleagues in fundraising and leveraging networks for peer-to-peer introductions
• Confidence and credibility when representing an organisation to HNWIs and senior stakeholders
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to champion major donor fundraising in a collaborative and thoughtful way across the organisation

Independent Members are non-voting members of the Committee, who assist in overseeing internal and external audit arrangements, reviewing and scrutinising financial statements, and reviewing and assessing the governance, risk management and control of the authority.

Independent Members are expected to actively participate in meetings of the Committee, and demonstrate independence, integrity, objectivity and impartiality in their decision-making. In order to achieve a broader range of experience on the Committee, the Authority is seeking to appoint an independent member with experience, at a senior level, in the one of the following key areas:

Candidates with experience in these areas in large private sector organisations will also be considered.

Independent Members will be appointed for an initial period up to 31 March 2029 with the potential for this to be extended for a further three years.

Successful candidates will receive an annual allowance of £1500 and will be expected to attend three Committee meetings per year. Meetings are usually held in person at MRWA’s office at No 1 Mann Island but may occasionally be held vie Teams.

Candidates will also need to be able to commit sufficient time to read Committee papers in advance of these meetings and to undertake occasional training alongside the other Committee members.

Healthwatch was set up in 2013 to champion the rights of health and social care users, and hold the health and social care system to account for how well it engages with the public. During 2026/27 these services are preparing for transition while continuing to build on their legacy.

Healthwatch’s remit covers all publicly funded health and social care services for adults and children.

Healthwatch Brent, Healthwatch Westminster and Healthwatch Kensington & Chelsea are three of 152 local Healthwatch organisations. The Advocacy Project Hosts three services. We’re building on the important work that’s been done to date,  planning for the future while bringing new insights from the voices of seldom heard and hard to hear groups.

Key responsibilities

• To Provide strategic management for effective, inclusive and high quality local Healthwatch.

The EDI Officer role focuses on enhancing equity in health access and outcomes for all social groups within the local community, particularly in OUH palliative care services. The post holder will collaborate closely with palliative medicine colleagues to develop and lead projects aimed at improving EDI aspects across all Palliative Care departments.

This will be achieved by implementing the five-year EDI strategy plan, which supports hospice teams in integrating EDI considerations in all areas of care. Additionally, the role involves contributing to Trust-wide Health Inequalities initiatives through collaboration with the Trust’s EDI colleagues and Patient Experience Team and various internal and external stakeholders to meet EDI and health inequalities objectives.

As Director, you will lead the Catholic Union at an exciting moment in its development. You will represent the Catholic Union publicly, strengthening relationships with bishops, diocesan leaders, parliamentarians and Catholic organisations. You will act as a trusted ambassador for the Union, grow our channels of influence and engagement, and work with Trustees, Council and a small experienced team to support the organisation’s continued development.

Role Overview 

Ealing and Hounslow CVS is seeking a motivated, community-focused Volunteering andDevelopment Officer to support the delivery of our infrastructure, volunteering, health equity, research, grant-making, and community inclusion programmes. 

EHCVS supports and engages with 1,000+ voluntary and community organisations across Ealing and Hounslow. This role plays an important part in strengthening the resilience, sustainability, and voice of the local VCSE sector. 

The postholder will provide practical programme support, coordinate activities, assist community groups, promote volunteering, contribute to research and insight projects, and support monitoring and reporting requirements. 

This role is ideal for someone with experience in the voluntary sector who is looking to grow their skills in infrastructure support, volunteer development, and community research. 

Key Responsibilities 

Programme Coordination 

• Support the delivery of multiple funded programmes across both boroughs. 

• Assist with organising training sessions, sector forums, Voice Networks and partnership meetings. 

• Track outputs and support managers in meeting funding requirements. 

• Maintain accurate project records and documentation. 

Infrastructure and Group Development 

• Provide basic 1:1 support to voluntary and community organisations on governance, funding readiness and sustainability. 

• Support capacity-building workshops and development sessions.

Volunteering Development 

• Support Volunteer Centre activities, including responding to enquiries and assisting with volunteer matching.

We are very excited to announce that we have been awarded a grant by The National Lottery Community Fund to help us support our most valued micro and small voluntary and community groups in Oxfordshire.

As the Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward this partnership initiative, working collaboratively with our delivery partners, with local stakeholders, community and voluntary sector groups, and our funder The National Lottery Community Fund to ensure that impact measurement and activity reporting is kept on track. You will work with two new SaM Community Development Workers, and with our partner organisation staff to develop a new outreach programme of infrastructure support shaped with and for the micro and small organisations across the county. You will develop a tailored action plan of outputs and outcomes with our Partnership Advisory Group and dovetail this with a pathway to gather data, stories and feedback on learning, impact and change. This monitoring and evaluation will be reported back to the Advisory Group and the National Lottery on a regular basis.

As the SaM Programme Manager you will manage a county‑wide partnership, contributing not only to delivery but also to shared learning, reflection and continuous improvement. You will balance representing your host organisation with acting in the best interests of the partnership and the communities it serves.
