Job description

The Head of Clinical Practice role is one of three key senior roles in Safety Net, who oversee all operations and business activities to ensure the organisation produces the desired results and is working to agreed contracts, funding requirements and within agreed mission, values, aims and objectives. The Head of Clinical Practice will attend the trustee board meetings and take part in management meetings. This is a 28 hours per week role, to be worked over 4 days. 

This is a new post, formed at an exciting time of targeted growth for the organisation to meet an increasing demand for services, and the successful applicant will lead and develop clinical practice. The post will combine expert practice development, staff development and supervision in one role. It is designed to build up practice skills and expertise, and to support all staff through case supervision and training. The appointed person will ensure operational staff are working safely, within Safety Net’s agreed framework and model, holding case accountability. 

We are looking for someone who has extensive service or other management experience, and a therapeutic qualification. You will hold a small caseload, alongside supporting, developing, and providing clinical case management for a team of specialist trauma-informed practitioners and therapists.

Closing date: noon Monday 16th November 2020, we will hold an awareness raising morning on the 25th November 2020, and interviews to be held week commencing 30th November 2020.
