In this role you will be:

Identifying, developing and maintaining effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.

Proactively promoting suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide.

Equipping a wide range of stakeholders to enable them to create sustainable suicide safer communities through the provision of tailored support, training and education.

Delivering training and raising awareness of products to a variety of groups including professionals, parents, young people, volunteers and other trainers.

Contributing to the development and review of projects, and education and training products, in line with the Strategic Plans.

Contributing to and promoting campaigns, training and opportunities as outlined in the Regional and Strategic Plans.
To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops or educational activities

A proven track record of networking and building and managing effective relationships, tailoring the approach to meet the differing needs of the audience

Experience as a qualified ASIST Trainer or willingness to gain qualification and experience

CVAA UK is a membership organisation supporting not-for-profit adoption agencies across the UK who specialise in finding homes for children in care. Over 3000 children in the UK need adoption each year because they cannot remain at home or with family members. The CVAA Practice Programme delivers 30 or more online courses each year to those working in the sector, primarily social workers. The Training Manager will work with the Head of Practice Development to ensure that the courses are full, supported, delivered effectively and evaluated. Part of the role will also be to source new trainers and support the creation of the programme into 2025.
The CVAA team work remotely across the UK so location of the postholder is not a barrier to recruitment as long as long as they can travel occasionally and come into London for team days. The team is small, diverse and dynamic. Experience of project management or delivery of training or events is more important than knowledge of adoption or children's social care. - Support the setting of the charity’s fundraising targets through the research and review of both external and internal fundraising activities.

- Participate fully in the generation of fundraising ideas and activity selection.

Joining a small national team, the Business Partnerships Manager for London will support the London and national Tempo team to expand and deepen the networks of community, public and private sector programmes and to develop new opportunities and partnerships in London.
Key responsibilities:
- Regional Recognition Network Development: You will develop regional recognition opportunities with potential partners, attract a diverse range of regional partners aligned with Tempo funders' objectives, and ensure network variety meets programme and beneficiary needs.
- Lead Generation: You will promote Tempo's work through events and communications, identify and approach new business leads, attend events, present, and network, and coordinate business development enquiries and attend and pitch Time Credits in meetings.
- Management of the London Recognition Network: You will ensure the effective management of the Network, including partner communications and regular network audits, provide leadership for recognition communications, such as newsletters, marketing materials, and social media, contribute to reporting and provide data and evidence, and manage existing partner relationships.

The role of Operations Manager sits within the Management Team.
The Role
The role of Operations Manager is critical to the long-term sustainability of the charity and plays a pivotal part in ensuring that we remain both relevant and necessary.
This role involves:
- Oversight and responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of guest services
- Line management and HR responsibility for the operational team
- Oversight and responsibility for health and safety organisation-wide

Essential Requirements:
- Strong HR background in terms of leading others and managing HR matters/employee relations

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced operations manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who will help strengthen the foundations of our organisation, as well as help us expand our growing network of partner organisations across the UK.
As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. Building on what has already been done, you will work directly with the CEO to help build the operational structure of Big Green Heart, and support its day-to-day operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for two individuals to help deliver an impactful GOALS service across London and build effective networks of support for people before, during and after treatment.
A main aspect of the role will be to support and work closely with individuals presenting with lived experience of gambling harm issues and/or people affected by this issue. The GOALS Supporter will understand gambling related harm and dependency issues and be able to ensure safe working environments and take a robust lead on safeguarding and harm minimisation procedures and policy.
The post holder will work with the Director of Support Services and GOALS Coordinator to support the development and maintenance of the systems and structure of the service, ensuring that governance and polices are implemented, safeguarding and safe working practices are systematic and develop a clear understanding of how the service integrates with the national gambling treatment service.
Other support activities will be developed, such as group support and weekly meet ups.
The post holder will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, deliver presentations and other promotions within community, education and health centres to help grow and develop the service.
