Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer 

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid – one day per week at our Head Office in London EC2A 2AH, with travel as required
 

Our Charity

The Sick Children’s Trust supports families when their seriously ill children need specialist medical treatment far from home. Our ‘Homes from Home’ keep families together, close to their children, during some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer to help us build and grow meaningful relationships with businesses that share our commitment to keeping families together.

Working closely with our Director of Fundraising, you’ll manage and develop a portfolio of existing corporate partnerships, maximise income and identify opportunities for long-term growth. You’ll also play an important role in developing new corporate partnerships, turning promising enquiries, introductions and recommendations into lasting relationships.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of corporate partners, developing tailored partnership plans and delivering against agreed income and engagement objectives.

You will:

Build strong, lasting relationships with existing corporate partners, providing excellent stewardship and identifying opportunities to increase their involvement and support.

Develop and deliver tailored partnership plans, setting clear KPIs and identifying opportunities for growth, multi-year funding, upselling and mutual awareness raising.

Present to corporate audiences, including delivering engaging lunch and learn sessions.

Manage the corporate volunteering programme, working closely with corporate supporters, House Managers and colleagues to ensure partnerships deliver meaningful experiences for everyone involved.

Produce high-quality, tailored reports that demonstrate the impact of corporate partners’ support.

Work closely with our Community and Events team to identify opportunities for corporate partners to engage with events and deepen their relationships with The Sick Children’s Trust.

Develop relationships with potential corporate supporters introduced through our ‘Homes from Home’, ensuring opportunities are followed up appropriately and sensitively.

Respond to and qualify new corporate partnership enquiries, assessing their potential, strategic fit and suitability.

Progress straightforward opportunities from initial enquiry through to partnership, while supporting our Corporate Business Development Manager with more complex or high-value opportunities.

Network with prospective supporters at our events and work collaboratively to develop new leads and opportunities.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on our CRM and provide regular income updates, forecasts and insights.

Contribute to the wider corporate fundraising strategy, plans and income targets.

You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to projects and priorities across the fundraising team as our work develops.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced corporate fundraiser who knows how to build relationships, spot opportunities and turn them into successful partnerships.

You’ll have:

Proven experience in a successful corporate fundraising role.

A track record of developing and maintaining corporate partnerships through excellent relationship management.

Experience of personally securing corporate partnerships and grants.

Experience of writing compelling, high-quality reports and proposals for corporate audiences.

Confidence presenting to a wide range of corporate audiences.

Strong networking and business development skills.

Experience working collaboratively with events or special events teams to create corporate networking and engagement opportunities.

Experience using a CRM database and maintaining accurate partnership records.

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple partnerships and deadlines.

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Good business acumen and an understanding of how businesses operate and make decisions.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
