You will ensure that all outputs from their digital finance programme reach the critical audiences – regulators, consumer protection authorities, funders and global experts – that can act on them.

• Develop and deliver compelling multi-channel communications strategies (via case-studies, blogs, social media, reports, newsletters) that spotlight the impact of their work.
• Bring global programmes to life through storytelling, strategic content, and media.
• Lead the production and promotion of major events—including their flagship Policy Impact Forums—connecting consumers, regulators, and decision-makers.
• Translate programme insights into impactful messaging for their global network—Members, regulators, funders, and partners.

Your experience:

• Proven experience in communications, campaigns, or public affairs, ideally within digital finance, development or consumer rights.

The Content & Copywriting Officer will involve developing engaging content for our social media channels, website blogs, and news section, as well as collaborating with the Search Engine Optimisation Officer to optimise copy for improved visibility and reach. You will play an important part in telling Muslim Aid’s story, inspiring our supporters, and helping to drive donations through impactful and well-crafted messaging.

About the Role:

1. Develop compelling, engaging, and audience-focused content for social media platforms, blogs, news updates, and campaigns.
2. Collaborate with the SEO Officer on the production of keyword-optimised copy for landing pages, appeals and campaign content.
3. Develop storytelling pieces that highlight Muslim Aid’s projects, beneficiaries, and impact.
4. Review written content for accuracy, consistency and alignment with Muslim Aid’s tone of voice and brand guidelines.
5. Collaborate with the programmes, fundraising and communications teams to deliver content that supports appeals and organisational goals.

About You

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the postholder will be responsible for building on our existing community fundraising initiatives, which includes networks of loyal volunteers and church contacts – from international pilgrim participants completing fundraising treks to congregations organising bake sales. The Refugee Welcome Officer is an exciting and unique role, supporting groups across the county who engage with the Social Justice Network to take part in the Afghan Welcome Project. You will assist with group formation, volunteer recruitment, training and provide ongoing mentoring to ensure their success.

As Refugee Welcome Officer you will work closely with the groups, local authorities, the Home Office, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and other key stakeholders to source suitable housing, matching families to accommodation whilst ensuring compliance.

You will build and maintain effective relationships with local agencies, councils, community groups and other sponsors to facilitate resettlement and share best practices, as well as taking the lead for coordinating recruitment and training and support for volunteers. You will also maintain DBS checks, training records and provide ongoing supervision and guidance.

In addition, you will assist with grant applications, fundraising initiatives, marketing and awareness-raising through social media, newsletters, events and community presentations.

You will have a strong passion for supporting resettled families and enabling local communities to be welcoming and inclusive. You will have experience working with volunteers, community groups or charitable organisations, and preferably experience supporting vulnerable individuals or families, including refugees or asylum seekers.

Knowledge of housing processes, private tenancies, and local support services is important, as are excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. You should be confident influencing, negotiating and problem-solving in complex situations.

Experience of delivering training and supporting volunteer development, a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle and a willingness to travel within Kent, London and the Southeast is essential.

Job Purpose:
The Operations Assistant provides support to the HR and Operations Manager by taking day to day responsibility, under guidance, for various facilities, safety and administrative processes, including HR administration, as well as responsiblity for locking/unlocking of meeting rooms, routine health and safety tasks and other matters that contribute to making the office a pleasant and functional environment in which to work.

The Head of Brand, Communications and Entertainment will also oversee the strategic development of key entertainment relationships, including celebrity talent, influencers, media partners, and broadcasters, to amplify our brand presence and support wider organisational objectives.
As a key member of the ExLT, this role will collaborate across departments to strengthen Make-A-Wish UK’s profile, build meaningful connections with stakeholders, and inspire audiences to engage with and support our cause.

Essential Criteria 

• Proven experience (5+ years) within senior level brand role including Head of Department or communications/strategy roles, ideally within the charity or not for profit sector.
• Demonstrated success in developing and delivering integrated communications strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and support. 
• Proven experience leading organisations through change and successfully embedding new delivery models to improve impact, efficiency, or engagement

Brand Leadership

• Lead the development and implementation of Make-A-Wish UK’s brand strategy, ensuring it reflects our mission, values, and commitment to children and families.

• Oversee the integration of digital marketing to support fundraising, awareness, and community building,
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and partners to maximise positive exposure and advocacy.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide inspiring leadership and development for the Brand, Communications & Entertainment team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
• Support and role-model cross-functional collaboration, ensuring communications activity aligns with organisational priorities and supports other teams effectively.
• Represent Brand, Communication and Entertainment at the Extended Leadership Team (ExLT), contributing to cross-charity strategy, insight sharing and project delivery.
• Represent Make-A-Wish UK and nurture key relationships as required.

Measurement & Insight

• Work with the Head of Insights and Innovation to develop and apply insights to inform strategic planning.
• Define and track key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of brand and communications activity, presenting to the senior Leadership Team and Board as required. 
• Capture and report on data and learnings, embedding continuous improvement and sharing best practice across the organisation.

The South East Cancer Help Centre (SECHC) is a highly successful and well-established charity in operation for 40 years with modern premises located in central Purley with free parking and close to the station. Working closely with the public health sector, we provide therapies, counselling and group activities to those affected by cancer.

SECHC aims to give any person affected by cancer an opportunity to explore ways which may help them to cope with their situation. Confidentiality is always maintained. The Centre aims to respect and support them in the choices they make and to provide individual and group support, complementary therapies and information within a friendly, caring environment. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced community fundraiser who will play an instrumental role in our established as well as new fundraising events, community engagement, stewardship, increasing awareness of the Centre as well as income generation.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Engage, inspire and encourage supporters, schools, community groups and high street businesses fundraising on behalf of the charity, helping them to achieve their full potential by providing a positive supporter journey.
2. Inspire new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters, securing sustainable growth of income and supporter numbers
3. Research and approach local businesses to gain support from them and their customers through fundraising e.g sponsorship of events, cause related marketing and social media platforms

5. Sourcing supporter case stories to support fundraising and impact reporting.

Harris Hill is working with a wonderful organisation, that works within the arts and heritage space, for 6 months on a fixed term contract.

This role can be full time, part time (3-4dpw), and has the opportunity to potentially go permanent too, so an excellent opportunity in todays environment. The organisation is asking for an office based term, but there may be some flexibility for some time at home. 

As the Development Officer, you will review and manage the cultivation and stewardship of individual supporters, including the administration of donor records, communications, events, and gift/grant administration and reporting. You will also expand the prospect pipeline, and prepare for growth in both capital and revenue fundraising. This will include the support of the charity's fundraising efforts and public engagement activities, research potential sources of supporters, including from Trusts, Foundations, donors and stakeholders.
