Job description

Prevent Breast Cancer had a phenomenal 2019 which included the launch of an innovative new campaign, BreastFest, aiming to make Manchester the most breast aware region in the UK, as well as winning the brilliant Ride London partnership. Small but mighty, Prevent punches above its weight in the fight against breast cancer and is now looking forward to 2020 to take advantage of the opportunities this busy year has brought by growing their corporate fundraising team.

Offering a grown-up and flexible working culture that includes potential for some home-working too, this brand-new Corporate Fundraising Manager role will take charge of nurturing and growing a corporate partnerships pipeline with a mix of new business and account management. There are plenty of warm leads to follow up due to the charity's success in 2019 and you'll be confident in seizing and maximising those opportunities.

Ideally, you'll be experienced across the corporate fundraising spectrum including Charity of the Year, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and employee engagement. A polished presenter able to prepare and deliver engaging and persuasive pitches to potential partners. You'll also be a warm and positive person who leads by example and brings the best out in others.

With line management responsibility for a Corporate Partnerships Assistant, this is perfect for someone looking to take that first step into a leadership role. Of course, we'd also welcome applications from seasoned pros with passion and enthusiasm for Prevent's mission and vision.

If you would like to become part of the Prevent team, please get in touch with a copy of your CV to our Manchester consultant, Amelia Lee: [email protected]

We are accepting applications on a rolling basis and will close and move to interview once we have a strong line-up, so please apply ASAP to avoid disappointment.
