We are looking for a passionate and skilled Marketing Manager on a fixed term maternity cover contract, to play a part in helping bring LCM’s 5 year strategy to life. As part of their ambitious five-year strategy, they are aiming to double their core audience and extend their reach to new communities through a wide range of media channels. At the heart of this role is a desire to see more people engaged in sharing the gospel with those on the margins of society.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver engaging marketing and PR plans that raise awareness of LCM’s work and provide clear, inspiring routes for churches and individuals to get involved. From promoting impactful training events and conferences to supporting fundraising initiatives, you’ll play a central role in encouraging gospel-centred mission across the city.
You’ll work closely with teams across the charity, ensuring their resources and content are promoted effectively to the right audiences, whether that’s through Christian media, digital channels, or live events. With a keen eye for opportunity and a collaborative approach, you’ll help shape how LCM is seen, heard, and responded to by the wider Church.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- At least two years’ communications and/or marketing experience
- Experience in writing for publication
- Experience of tracking and analysing data
- Experience of communications with church or church based groups

Asylum Matters is looking for a dynamic campaigner committed to upholding the rights of people seeking asylum in Yorkshire & Humber and across the UK at a critical time. Asylum Matters plays a significant role in working towards positive change for refugees and people seeking asylum. We are a small team based around the UK, working locally and nationally with an extensive network of partners to advocate for progressive change in the asylum system. We work with frontline organisations and people with lived experience across the UK on a range of issues that affect people in the asylum system. We co-lead the award-winning Lift the Ban coalition campaign, that brings together almost 300 organisations calling for the right to work for people seeking asylum. The Yorkshire & Humber Campaigns Manager also lead our Lift the Ban campaign Nationally, working with our powerful coalition to raise our collective voices and call for working rights for people in the asylum system.
We are a facilitator of collaboration and joint action. Our work helps strengthen collective advocacy on asylum reform and ensures it is informed by the reality on the ground. We became an independent charity in 2021 and have ambitious plans for the future as we seek to maximise the potential of our collaborative campaigning model and identify opportunities for change at local, regional and national levels, in a challenging external environment.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with local organisations and networks in Yorkshire & Humber to develop and implement strategies for achieving change locally and nationally. About the role
This role saves lives at sea by inspiring and motivating a team of supporter-focused professionals who deliver fantastic experiences and respond to volunteer needs in order to secure the vital income that powers our lifesaving delivery. This will suit someone who has an expanse of fundraising and leadership experience as the job will involve overseeing the community branches, shops, regional partnerships and visits delivery plans for the region as well as matrix oversight of other fundraising functions.
As the Regional Engagement Lead, you will lead engagement activity for the South West region. The South West region covers Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, West Dorset, Wiltshire, Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands with regular travel to the Regional Base in Saltash (applicants must live within the region).
As part of the Regional Leadership Team, you will provide leadership, guidance, vision and direction to ensure your region delivers its core service in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
In this role, you will be responsible for and accountable for ensuring that the RNLI is the most loved and best-supported charity. About you
We are looking for a visionary, natural leader who loves to inspire people. Perhaps you’ve worked in a variety of fundraising leadership roles in areas such as community fundraising, charity retail and/or partnerships in other charities or organisations. Or, you may have been a Head of Fundraising in a local charity. If yes is the answer to any of these, then the Regional Engagement Lead could be the role for you.
We are looking for:
- Extensive experience of people leadership and of engaging supporters, volunteers and the general public in order to generate funds.
- Experience in leading field-based teams.
- Previous experience of being part of a senior leadership team.
- Experience working in a matrix style management organisation, adaptable to change.

- Extensive experience working on direct response digital marketing campaigns with clear, measurable goals
- Direct experience setting up and running direct response ad campaigns using Meta and Google ad platforms, working in Google Tag Manager to set up website conversion tracking across Meta and Google ad platforms
- Ability to synthesise large amounts of reporting data to provide clear analysis and recommend ongoing improvements to advertising campaigns
- Experience working in website content management systems (such as Wordpress) and email send system (such as Mailchimp) and setting up and running A/B and multivariate website conversions tests using a system such as Optimizely
- Experience planning, writing and creating social media posts and managing a social media community

The Role
Lead the development, planning, recruitment and stewardship strategy for U/HNW philanthropy prospects, donors and funders
Be responsible for ensuring excellent stewardship of all philanthropic donors.
Oversee the individual major donor portfolios of the Executive Director of F&E and Director, (PSC) to ensure cross communication and sustained progress.
Lead the team, providing clear direction and support whilst proactively contributing to an inclusive workplace culture.
The Candidate
A demonstrable track record of success in fundraising from individuals and/or Trusts with a focus on major giving.
Proven ability to develop new networks of potential donors.
Strong experience of working in a senior management role within fundraising.

As a Retail Assistant, you will join an incredible team and support them to encourage sales, provide excellent customer service, and uphold the highest standards of stock presentation and store cleanliness.
You will be responsible for:
Assisting the Retail Manager in maximising sales by maintaining high standards of display and layout, ensuring proper stock rotation, and securing realistic pricing on donated items.
Ensuring donated goods are processed according to set standards and timeframes, and that pricing is in line with charity guidelines.
Maximising Gift Aid income and oversee the proper display and administration of bought-in goods, ensuring minimal stock loss.
Customer engagement and leading by coaching volunteers and staff to have great conversations with every customer on" Rounding up" their purchase, making an "add donation" for our charity and signing up for our loyalty scheme.
Engaging with the community to drive repeat custom, stock donation, volunteer recruitment and community involvement.
Managing volunteers and ensuring all staff and volunteers are following Marie Curie procedures and guidelines.
In the absence of the Retail Manager, taking responsibility for the overall management and operation of the store.
Key Criteria:
Previous retail experience, preferably in fashion/clothing.
Experience of cash handling and financial management procedures (including completion of sales records).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first attitude and the ability to communicate with tact and discretion,
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload, balancing competing demands.
Understanding of health and safety procedures in a retail environment.
Experience in managing and motivating volunteers is desirable.

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Schools Coordinator (Impact Officer) to work as the primary link between partner schools and the CYUK programme.
This youth and education charity empowers diverse 18 to 25-year-olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time volunteering in schools. As mentors, tutors and role models in schools, the charities volunteers support children who are furthest away from opportunity in the UK.

The Role
We have a rewarding opportunity for a School Impact Officer to train, support and develop volunteers and monitor the programme through effective administration, data management and to build a deep partnership between the school and the charity.
The Impact Officer is based predominantly in a school and is the primary link between the partner schools and the programme and is the enabler of the programme delivery. You will support a team of volunteer mentors, who support school activities by coordinating, managing and evaluating the programme.
The Volunteer Mentors also complete a Leadership and Development programme and you will work with them on a professional development plan to chart their continuous professional development and ready them for employment.
