This is a 12-month maternity cover contract, offering a chance to play a pivotal role within a small and supportive HR team. The position is full-time, based in London (Finsbury Park), with a hybrid working arrangement that requires four days a week in the office.

As the first point of contact for HR queries, you will provide high-quality administrative support across the employee lifecycle. The Role

You will also support the coordination of partnerships and engagement with local peacebuilding efforts in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) within our multi-year programme ‘Local First: Transforming the Peacebuilding System’, funded by the Dutch MfA.

As Senior Partnerships and Programmes Officer you will work closely with our SPOs who manage existing partnerships and create opportunities to bring partners together to learn from one another. You will also support the development, coordination and delivery of Local First, working closely with the International Programmes Manager and Peace Direct’s Netherlands Country Representative.

We are looking for someone with experience supporting peacebuilding, development or humanitarian projects, with a good understanding of peacebuilding approaches, and who can build effective, trust-based relationships with local partners. You must be a team player who enjoys working collaboratively, have excellent organisational skills and be able to work in both English and French.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate all HNW activity ensuring that:
  • Appropriate levels of communication are established and maintained
  • Records are kept fully up to date and are appropriately reported

• Create and/or deepen partnerships with organisations where mutual benefit can be received, including Richemont maisons ; other Laureus partners; new prospective partners with connections to pools of HNW individuals

• Assess existing events and amend/develop a revised calendar of events annually that supports outreach, conversion and stewardship of HNW pool of supporters – whilst also ensuring profit is made on the event itself

• Encouragement and support of HNW supporters to create their own activities to raise funds and/or broaden the network of Laureus donors

• Provide first class stewardship to the International Council/Friends of Laureus group of HNW supporters whilst also exploring if other products or partnerships might offer attractive benefits to donors

• Work with programme colleagues to create opportunities for programme visits open to key donors – either in the UK or internationally, whilst also extracting key programme asks for funding

• Work with talent team colleagues to create engagement opportunities with Laureus Academy Members and Ambassadors that support HNW engagement and stewardship

• Use sector knowledge and insight to keep on top of best practice around HNW donor engagement, cultivation and stewardship

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Proven track record of successful fundraising experience
• Experience of building long-term, trust-based relationships with HNWI
• Developed or contributed to HNW fundraising campaigns 
• Strategic and result-driven approach to planning donor journeys and stewardship programmes
• Proficient in using donor databases (e.g. Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce) for tracking contacts and income and data analytics/ prospect research
• Experience in organising bespoke donor and facilitating networking opportunities between donors and charity leadership or beneficiaries
• Skilled in writing tailored proposals, impact reports, and stewardship updates

This is home based and the candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the region covered. Occasional travel to London will be required. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

What you’ll do:

• Proactively seek out, develop and manage new partnerships, generating income to support and extend Home-Start services
• Support the Operations Coordinator to manage existing consortia projects, ensuring quality and meeting targets
• Deliver timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Lead on planning and delivery of network events, showcasing Home-Start’s work and impact for children and families
• Regularly engage with local Home-Start teams, from co-designing new projects to providing training and support with local fundraising efforts
• Work with HSL’s Communications Lead and local Home-Start teams to develop external communications that showcase Home-Start’s work, including content for website and socials
• Ensure compliance with partnership governance procedures, funding agreements, and internal policy
• Maintain accurate record keeping for all partnerships and projects
• Provide administrative support to the team, supporting efficient operations
• Manage volunteers as required, ensuring that they are happy, effective and well supported
• Any other duties that may be reasonably requested of the postholder

About the role

• Delivering support to people who are experiencing homelessness and are rough sleeping in the borough of Tower Hamlets.
• Conducting person-centred assessments with those who self-present at the service for support
• Agree plans, in conjunction with service users, to move into accommodation and access specialist services which will address the underlying causes of their homelessness. 
• To make referrals into Tower Hamlets and Pan-London local authority housing options services, using Homeless Reduction Act
• To work with partner agencies to provide joint support to service users where appropriate
• To build relationships with housing providers and the private rented sector, to increase the portfolio of affordable referral routes into accommodation.
• You will have excellent communication skills and can create positive working relationships with a wide range of people, including external services.
• You will support the development of the service and ensure that you are delivering a solution-focussed and strength-based approach.

Protect, the UK’s leading whistleblowing charity, is looking for an exceptional public-spirited Policy & Advocacy Officer, who will lead our anti-corruption work. The role is currently funded by the Joffe Charitable Trust. The role is 3 days (22.5hours) per week; can be spread over 3-5 days.  

The role is London based with hybrid and remote working options & occasional travel to Westminster. 

The role will entail proactively looking for advocacy opportunities and working with the Policy Team in Protect to progress important public policies, which further the protection of whistleblowers, support safe speaking up and tackle corruption in the UK. 

For 30 years we have provided legal advice to whistleblowers, campaigned for better legal protection for whistleblowing and supported organisations to create effective whistleblowing systems. With the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) turning their focus to whistleblowing, there could not be a more exciting time to join the anti-corruption fight.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, ambitious and a team player. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, with exceptional networking and stakeholder engagement skills. Could you be the impactful Programme Director we seek to lead, develop and oversee the delivery of the next stage of the Richmond Group Physical Activity Programme and We Are Undefeatable Campaign (WAU), with a budget of £8m?

This influential post is offered as a fixed-term contract ending March 2028. It will initially involve improving programme oversight and integrating the Physical Activity Programme and the We Are Undefeatable Campaign teams to enhance collaboration and ways of working. The Physical Activity Programme, a partnership with Sport England and the National Lottery, is entering an exciting new phase, which will focus on the evolution of We Are Undefeatable, from Above-The-Line to an 'always on' campaign, expanding our system influencing work, both nationally and at 'place' level, and building a powerful evidence base for how we can support the least active to move more

The role will have overall responsibility for the implementation of the strategic aims of the programme and ensure effective governance, budget oversight, and delivery of the system influencing work and WAU campaign. As Programme Director, you will extensively collaborate at leadership level with existing and new partnerships and stakeholders, parliamentarians and systems leaders to drive impactful interventions.

We operate a hybrid-working model and will require the post holder to be in our central London office a minimum of two days each week. Travel costs to our London office are not covered by the charity.

Essential criteria:

• Proven experience in programme management, ideally within the health sector or physical activity, in a fast-paced organisation Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership management to influence change, increase collaboration and sustainability

• Understand the complexities of bringing about behaviour change.
