About the Legacy Manager role:

The Public Fundraising team are responsible for recruiting and stewarding new supporters in order to secure long-term income and growth. The fundraising team has real ambition to grow and develop, and Legacy and  In-memory giving will form a key part of these plans.

You will lead on the development and implementation of a new Legacy & In Memoriam fundraising strategy that will

support our vision to grow income in this area. To do this you will be an ambitious, confident and experienced Legacy fundraiser with a passion for excellent customer experience and a natural collaborator. You will be

great at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will work with teams across the charity to establish potential within our existing networks as well as reaching new audiences.

This is an opportunity to build and shape Legacy and In-mem giving at Royal voluntary service. You will be responsible for putting together plans to acquire new donors as well as building comprehensive stewardship plans for legacy pledgers and in-memoriam donors.  You will have experience of delivering legacy events, marketing and setting and meeting ambitious KPI’s.

The role will work closely with the Head of Public Fundraising, research and implementing other new Legacy and in memoriam opportunities. All legacy administration is handled externally.

Location: This role is Home based with occasional national travel

What you'll bring as our Legacy Manager :

Knowledge

• Experience of developing and managing a mixed Legacy and In-Mem Marketing portfolio.
• Experience of stewarding legacy prospects to become pledgers
• Excellent knowledge of GDPR, Fundraising Regulator guidelines, and other fundraising standards.
• A good understanding of working across a variety of fundraising channels; including digital, email, social media, direct mail, telemarketing, and SMS.
• A good understanding of using Charity CRMs.
• Proven record of managing agencies
• Proven track record of planning and delivering events
• A proven track record of delivering successful legacy and in memory fundraising programmes
• Understanding of UK legacy and in memory giving market including future trends and direction.
• Ability to report and analyse online and offline campaigns, including interpreting results, applying learnings and making recommendations to increase income.
• Ability to design, develop and deliver training and development activities for both staff and volunteers.
• Proven track record of delivering legacy cultivation events

Skills

Experience

• At least 5 years’ fundraising experience especially in legacy and in memory fundraising
• Experience of integration of legacy & in memory fundraising promotion across an organisation
• Experience of working in a dispersed charity with operational volunteers
• Experience of working with volunteers in a fundraising capacity.
• Experience or understanding of the nature of home/remote working.

SANE, a leading UK mental health charity, is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Individual Giving Manager to join our Fundraising team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and delivery of innovative fundraising campaigns across multiple channels - including direct mail, digital, email and social media to grow our individual donor base, improve supporter retention, and increase legacy giving. About the role

We are looking for a self-driven, highly motivated team player to join our HR department. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this postholder will work closely with the two HR People Partners. The post holder will lead and manage all formal employee relations cases whether it be disciplinaries, grievances or complaints. They will also Project manage and deliver on HR projects including the development of new initiatives and HR policy updates.

Responsibilities

• To lead and manage employee relations activity across the charity by working closely with the key stakeholders.
• To provide guidance and advise senior managers in line with MSSC policies, employment legislation and ACAS Code of Practice regarding complex HR situations.
• To lead and take notes at all MSSC disciplinaries, grievances and formal complaints to support the process. These could include conduct, performance management/capability, absence management. grievances, bullying and harassment, discrimination, whistleblowing etc. 
• Ensure appropriate documentation of cases including file notes, correspondence, accurate meeting minutes etc, ensuring their employee file is kept up to date and organised.
• To provide support to the HR People Partners on broader ER issues, if necessary, such as absence management/OH referrals, performance management/PIPs.
• To support and assist the Director of HR and the team on a range of HR projects and initiatives.
• To develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and guidance documents, ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
• Manage the appraisal process including launch communications, monitoring completions and reviewing forms for any ER issues and logging training needs.
• Lead the annual staff survey launch and collation and analysis of data.
• To cover for the Director of HR and other team members as required.

About the role

Our Participation and Involvement Manager will build on existing practice across the organisation and lead on the implementation and further development of a participation and involvement framework, enabling a large and diverse range of kinship carers to share their views and expertise meaningfully, safely and effectively to shape Kinship’s activity. It will also support our growing participation and involvement activity which involves children, young people and young adults with experience of growing up in kinship care.

You will work closely with kinship carers and colleagues across the organisation to understand the key challenges and opportunities with embedding participatory methods, including co-production and co-design, which improve Kinship’s work – right from the design and delivery of our advice and support services through to influencing policy and campaigning for change.

With support from colleagues, you will act as the key cross-organisational adviser on participation and involvement practice, supporting and empowering colleagues to develop the skills and knowledge they need to embed a consistent approach to the involvement of kinship carers to best suit the needs of their roles.

Key responsibilities include:

Essential experience includes:

• Experience managing and leading the delivery of participation or involvement activity with people with lived experience of social issues.
• A commitment to meaningful participation and involvement activity, including a nuanced understanding of the individual and organisational opportunities and challenges associated with this.
• Knowledge of models, methodologies and approaches used in high quality participation and involvement activity, and strong skills in creative facilitation – particularly with groups.

About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities

Accounting (40%)

• Oversee day-to-day transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, for both the UK charity and the newly created US charity
• Ensure that accurate and comprehensive records of accounting evidence for all transactions are maintained
• Monitor cashflow
• Support the HoFO in the month-end process
• Oversee and control monthly payroll with external payroll provider
• Oversee and control VAT returns with external accountants
• Check monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations

Financial Planning & Analysis (35%)

• Control all accounts payable in dialogue with budget holders

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, including charity-specific requirements

Operations (15%)

• Responsible for the financial management of grant payments, in coordination with Grant Managers and Grant Budget Holders
• Drive good practice in procurement and manage the relationship with suppliers
• Support the wider Ops team in ad hoc projects and activities

Skills and experience

Essential

• Newly qualified or part qualified, working towards a chartered accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• Fluent in using spreadsheets for financial information

About the role

As our Temporary Finance Manager, you will be managing a finance assistant and will be part of our organisation’s Senior Leadership Team, helping to collaboratively shape and steer the charity as we work towards our 2022-2027 strategy. The Finance Manager is at the heart of Woman’s Trust; you will play an essential role and have oversight of not just the finance team - you will have direct exposure to CEO/Board Members and decision-making for the future of the organisation.

The Organisation

ImpactEd Group supports education and purpose-driven organisations to maximise their potential. We do this by helping our partners to be consistently impactful and operationally sustainable.

This role is within our Evaluation Practice. The evaluation team works with schools and organisations, analysing the impact of programmes and interventions to help them do more of what works and less of what doesn’t. We work with more than 1,400 schools and 80 education organisations, serving more than a quarter of million pupils. This includes helping our partners to design high-quality research projects, delivering them, and providing systems and tools for data collection, reporting and impact benchmarking.

Opportunity 1:Manager, ImpactEd Evaluation

The Manager role works across ImpactEd Evaluation. Our partners encompass education organisations such as charities, edtech organisations and government, and schools and multi-academy Trusts. We aim to deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions to benefit young people.

You will act as a consultant on a range of different partnerships to help partners develop their evaluation strategy and approach. For example, you could deliver independent evaluations for organisations like the Careers and Enterprise Company, Nesta or multi-academy Trusts such as Lift Schools. You will also have opportunities to contribute to development of team strategy and learning and development resources.

As a manager you will act as a project lead, delivering high-quality research projects at scale, and support the creation of specific deliverables for projects led by others. This covers the end to end of research design and delivery, including the creation of Theories of Change and evaluation frameworks, data collection and analysis, and impact reporting to help our partners learn about the effectiveness of their programmes. At manager level you will have the opportunity to take on larger-scope partnerships supported by a project sponsor at senior manager level or above.

Opportunity 2: Manager - Research Partnerships, ImpactEd Evaluation

The Manager role works across ImpactEd Evaluation but with a specific focus in our TRAPs team (targeted research and action projects). The TRAPs team are responsible for our national research projects, and work with both individual schools and groups of schools to sign them up to research cohorts: ensuring they can both contribute to a national research programme as well as gaining specific insights for their own school improvement journey.

You will act as a lead on a range of different partnerships to help partners develop their strategy and approach. For example, you could lead on the management of a key multi-academy trust, or could be supporting other team members with individual school partnerships, as well as supporting the Associate Director of TRAPs with overall research project design and planning. You will also have opportunities to contribute to development of team strategy and learning and development resources.

As a manager you will work closely with an Associate Director, lead on school group account management and support with the overall running and development of the TRAPs team.

About You

We are open to a range of backgrounds, but would expect prior experience of research and evaluation delivery and partnership management. The role

We are looking for an experienced part-time NEBOSH or IOSH qualified Health and Safety Manager, who will lead manage and develop our health and safety requirements and responsibilities around working outside and around water.

We have a health and safety management plan which following on from our Health and Safety audit, has outlined the framework for this role and what is needed to be implemented over the next 12 months.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Work with both Head of HR and Operations Manager on certain aspects of office Health & Safety with as and where necessary
• Project manage and deliver all requirements of the new created H&S Management Plan
• Work with managers on Construction Design Management (CDM) health and safety
• Track and ensure that risk assessments are being completed within teams for events and elsewhere where required in Thames21
• Work with HR and line managers to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) are created, updated and reviewed periodically
• Deliver the H&S induction session with new joiners when and where applicable
• Work with the Operations Manager to ensure vehicle checks are conducted in accordance with the vehicles policy, and that all drivers are trained in the use of the inspection checklists and all aspects of vehicle inspection.
• Compile a quarterly incident report to the Head of HR
• Manage the incident reporting system, escalating serious incidents (including risks) to senior management

• Manage a programme of safety audits to reporting these to the management team
• Manage and run the quarterly H&S group meetings and keep track of progress of actions that have been assigned
• Conduct training sessions on other related health and safety as and when required
• Other duties commensurate with the role

About the role:

We are looking to appoint an experienced Philanthropy Manager to proactively lead the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, trusts and statutory bodies, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Engagement, the Philanthropy Manager will drive the growth of a portfolio of existing supporters and new prospects giving at the five and six figure gift level, with a particular focus on generating major gifts from new donors. The postholder will think strategically to develop inspiring fundraising cases of support, and impact reporting working closely with Care service colleagues, the finance team and the wider fundraising and engagement team.

This role has line management responsibility for three experienced fundraisers who manage their own portfolios of Major Donors, Trusts, and Foundations.
