What you’ll do

You will lead the Postgraduate Certificate (Pg Cert) in Leadership for CYP Mental Health Services, ensuring its successful design, delivery and development. You will manage the curriculum in line with NHS England’s Leadership National Curriculum and UCL’s academic standards, oversee teaching and assessment, and ensure the programme remains financially and academically viable. The purpose is to equip managers and service leads in CYP Mental Health Services with the skills, knowledge and reflective leadership capacity needed to drive service transformation and improve outcomes for children, young people and families.

What you’ll bring

Essential requirements:

• Qualifications: PhD/professional doctorate in field of child mental health or a recognised qualification in a core child mental health profession (e.g. psychology, social work, educational psychology).
• Experience: leadership/management experience in CYP Mental Health Services, and experience in curriculum design, teaching, assessment and programme organisation in Higher Education;
• Knowledge: understanding of the national CYP IAPT programme and challenges/opportunities in child and young people’s mental health services;
• Skills: effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills,  ability to work flexibly and collaboratively and capable of managing budgets and ensuring programme financial viability.
• Commitment: dedication to high standards in teaching and assessment, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, and demonstrating values of equity, diversity and inclusion.

Key details

Hours: Part time: 7 hours per week. Monday to Friday to be agreed and discussed with manager. Must be available to work on the 12 days during the year that the course runs (currently on Tuesdays).

Salary: £67,830 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.

Location: Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

The Role

Position: S11313 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based – Macclesfield, East Cheshire. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £21, 948 per annum (FTE circa £27,400 per annum)

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week

The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Supporting stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues and other areas of the community to make a difference in the lives of people affected by stroke.

You will have experience in:

• Experience/background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities

Rainbow Migration is the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system and has been campaigning for their rights since 1993. We are recruiting a Senior Casework and Service Coordinator to assist the Support Services Manager, provide guidance and advice to colleagues, and manage incoming queries from service users. The Senior Casework and Service Coordinator is a new role that will take on some of the responsibilities of the Support Services Manager, freeing the manager up to work on service development and strategic matters.

Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Working part-time (minimum 28 hours) will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £36,994 with potential annual step increases up to £41,315 (pro rata if working part time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, we consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Rainbow Migration’s wheelchair accessible offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader, with a passion for giving children the best possible start and with a strong belief in the power of communities. The role will work both locally and nationally, as part of the wider team. 

The Director will manage our client’s existing programme in Redcar and Cleveland with a talented and committed team (10 staff). They will also develop and manage the new programme in Middlesbrough, currently in Discovery phase, and recruit a staff team of 8- 10 people, with support from the charity’s central team.  Once set up, the Director will lead the following across both areas: 

• Building relationships and networks in the areas, across the public, voluntary and private sector 

• Leading the team to support delivery of the charity's local early years strategy in the areas

• Leading the delivery of a portfolio of complementary workstreams, continuously refining and strengthening the work so that we make the greatest possible positive difference to local children and families 

• Working closely with local partners and the national team to ensure that data and learning is captured and fed into strategic thinking and our national model 

Supported by our central team, the Director will enable local stakeholders to collectively support parents and children under 5, to improve outcomes in the early years and particularly improve levels of school readiness.
