Job description

An agile and award-winning charity, DreamArts delivers creative and therapeutic arts projects in wards across Westminster which have some of the highest levels of child poverty in the UK.  This is a new post that will join the Chief Executive and Programme Director to form the charity’s Executive and lead our strategic development and future success.

The role will include direct project delivery, therefore the successful applicant will need excellent facilitation skills including work with families and be able to engage, inspire and empower young people experiencing challenges in their lives.

The role will provide dynamic leadership, direction and innovation for Express Collective which enables young people ‘at risk’ to choose an issue and a creative medium in which to explore solutions, and Family Express projects which empower parents and children to work together and build stronger families.

Strong partnership working is essential and you will play a key role in assessing our impact so that DreamArts is recognised in London and beyond as setting the standard for fusing creativity and therapeutic arts to improve young people’s wellbeing.  We are proud that the quality of our work has been recognised by financial growth of 50% over the past 18 months and the Assistant Programme Director will play a critical role in sustaining and advancing our achievements. #

Application deadline: Tuesday 5 November.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to Stage 1 interview on Friday 15 November.

Shortlisted candidates for Stage 2 will be asked to prepare a presentation and run activities with young people.
