The Access Foundation is focused on making a real difference to people’s lives by awarding grants to charities which make a valuable and measurable positive impact. Our grant giving objectives fall into three categories:

to mitigate the digital divide by making computing facilities, support and learning available to disadvantaged and vulnerable people

to advance the charitable causes of the registered charities which are chosen as the "Access Group Company Charities of the Year"

to advance the charitable causes of charities for whom there is a strong emotional connection with a member of staff (e.g. through support they or a close relative have received from the charity)
The Foundation aims to achieve this via a fund from which it awards grants to other charitable organisations aligned with the principles above. You are a key member or the team that works towards our target to award grants to a total value of +/- £2 million each year.
The Access Foundation was set up in 2021 following the success and growth enjoyed by The Access Group over the previous decade. While affiliated with The Access Group in terms of its identity, The Access Foundation is a separate organisation, governed by an independent board of trustees and with its own objectives and goals.
The Access Foundation wants to fund projects and activities that make a real difference to people’s lives in the countries the Access group is active.To achieve our objectives, we are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to help run and improve our operational processes.
Job objectives

Support the trustees in the due diligence and evaluation of each applicant and facilitate the decision-making process for each application

Support the ongoing evaluation process of all successful applicants and ensure agreed measures and outcomes are reported back to the Foundation in a timely manner

Manage the external communication of the Foundation’s successes back to stakeholders and supporters, as well as other channels on social media, such as Instagram and LinkedIn

Manage the communication with the Access Group and maintain an open channel of communication with the charities team at the Access group

Manage the Admin and Grants Assistant and ensure all Admin processes as well as operational processes are running smoothly and make changes where required

Manage the use of the accounting package Access Financials to ensure processes are followed and grantees paid on time.

Oversee the data collation for and write the impact report

Duties and responsibilities will include

Write regular reports to the trustees of new applications, applications in progress and outcomes, inform and advise the trustees to achieve a swift decision on all cases

Organise the publicity and communications around each successful grant, including newsfeeds, social media and website updates.

Liase with the Access Marketing team to support their own comms

Ensure financial accounts are accurate and complete

Liase with 3rd parties such as external suppliers and partners ranging from auditors to our financial partners

Draft Offer letters for the successful applicants

Recruit, Manage and Appraise the Admin and Grant Assistant

Attend trustees, volunteers and applications meetings

Manage the access controls for volunteers and staff

Oversee the financial accounts, approve invoices on our bespoke Finance system and deal with some financial accounting together with our Chair of the board of trustees
Skills and Experience Required

The Project Manager will be a key member of the Charity and will play a significant part in developing and delivering the Life Chances Programme to our beneficiaries. The post holder will work closely with the CEO and is able to draw on support from the Admin Support Officer.
The Project Manager will support the success of the Charity’s core operations, the development and delivery of the Life Chances Programme, the lifecycle of projects and financial management from securing funding to reporting impact by ensuring the effective development and management of project opportunities, proposals, funding and finances, planning, delivery, evaluation and reporting.
Main duties and responsibilities
Project Management
· Develop, plan, manage, evaluate and report on diverse and inter-related externally funded and non-funded projects.

· Liaise with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with Charity procedures.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
EXPERIENCE
· Ideal candidate will hold possess a Project Management Practitioner level qualification (e.g. APM, PMQ, PRINCE 2) or equivalent experience.
· The post holder will have experience in managing budgets, be skilled with Microsoft Office packages and be willing to learn new IT tools.
· A successful track record of delivery results within fundraising, managing programmes & partnership working or similar role for a minimum of two years.
· Excellent networking, stewardship and influencing skills, articulate and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.

This is a part time position working four days per week (30 hours), Monday to Friday.
Within this role, you can be based at home or in an Emmaus community. Wherever you are based, maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is vitally important. The current patch for this role is Emmaus Brighton & Hove, Emmaus Greenwich and Emmaus Dover. Regular travel to these three communities will be required (usually one community visit per week). Travel to team meetings, usually held in Birmingham, and other locations will also be required on occasion.

We require someone with a strong skillset and at least two years’ experience working in a busy communications, public relations or marketing role. Although not essential, knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the charity sector would also be an advantage.

The Ian Karten Charitable Trust is looking for a home-based, self-employed administrator to cover the current incumbent who is going on maternity leave in July 2024. The Trust is a grant making trust focused on disability and education.

We’re a small charity that brings communities together to create cleaner, connected and safer urban and rural neighbourhoods by tackling the litter problems where they live. We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Bid Coordinator to join our Fundraising Team. Within the team you’d be responsible for generating income from The Door’s fundraising portfolio to meet our budgeted current and future service delivery needs, and specifically for raising income from grants and tender bids. You’d coordinate the end-to-end process of bid submission, from researching funding opportunities to writing compelling bids to ensuring the timely delivery of reports to funders.
You’ll be an excellent written communicator, with the ability to compose accurate, concise and persuasive prose, strong administrative and relationship management skills, experience of working with budgets and a good eye for detail. You should have experience of writing successful funding bids and reports. A detailed understanding of the wider funding environment in the voluntary sector is also highly desirable.
This role is home-based and ideal for a skilled bid writer who needs flexible hours. Occasional travel to our office in Stroud, Gloucestershire will be required. Applicants must be UK-based and eligible to work in the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will also work with the Big Green Heart team to onboard new partner organisations. You will work with them to understand their needs and secure buy-in.

You will collaborate with the trustees, who also contribute to tasks linked with Big Green Heart's development.

You will manage the budgeting and financial planning processes, working closely with the Treasurer.

You will be trained as a Big Green Heart facilitator with an expectation that you may be needed to facilitate a workshop during your time at the organisation.

You will participate in professional and networking events related to Big Green Heart’s field of intervention.

You will support staff members, trustees and volunteers, providing guidance and training in the operations of the charity as needed.

About the role
We’re recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to steer us in the next stage of our journey. This is an exciting development of an existing role at Overcoming MS and will allow the successful candidate to make the position their own.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering an innovative new digital marketing approach, through the innovation, creation and delivery of projects and activities which increase leads, donations and engagement for Overcoming MS charity.
Key Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Manager will work across several areas, including:
1. Conversion optimisation
· Increasing our donations and data capture - to enable us to continue the dialogue and create donations from a greater percentage of those who visit our website, or interact with other digital channels.
· Working with our agency partner to optimise key landing pages and signposting for conversion.
2. User journey optimisation
· Helping people find the right content based on data optimisations so that more people find what they need and understand what else the charity could offer them. Using HotJar for insights.
· Automated email journeys - Building customer journeys to support the Program pillars to build deeper relationships with people in our community.
3. Increasing reach and traffic generation
· Testing different low-cost digital reach opportunities.
· Including paid social, referral activities, calls to action across our channels, YouTube SEO and SEM. Working with an agency to optimise journeys from Google Grant, leading to clearly articulated actions (eg donations, sign-ups, click-throughs).
4. Testing to improve results continually
· Email AB testing - Deliver AB testing to inform future email AB tests.
· Plan AB testing for email marketing projects, for the website, and other projects as needed to improve conversion rates.
5. Digital project management
· Testing new digital versions of courses and tools. Project management of website updates.
6. Campaign support
· Leading, innovating and supporting advocacy, communications and fundraising campaigns as needed to increase reach, engagement and conversions.
7. Gathering community feedback
· Continue the plan to access regular community feedback to influence Hub improvements and other digital channel improvements.
8. Supplier collaboration
· Working with our suppliers to optimise collaboration, reduce cost and increase impact.
About you
Strong digital skills
• A proven track record of managing digital products/projects/programmes which create value for end-users.
• Strong working knowledge and experience in digital solutions.
• Experience in evaluating and improving existing digital programs.
• Significant experience working with 3rd party digital providers to create solutions that work for the target audience.
• Confident in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Excellent understanding of AB testing to maximise conversion rates.
• Experience in using tools like HotJar (preferred).
