We have rediscovered and been re-inspired by the pioneering spirit of our founders. We believe our calling for this time is to the “edges”: to the edges of society, the edges of church and to the edges of our comfort zones. To that end, we have been aligning our organisation and focus to play a catalytic role in facilitating movements of mission to and from these edges through our new “hub” approach to mission and often working with partners in the wider Anglican Communion.

The Role

We are looking for a collaboratively-minded and empowering CEO to take this new approach and focus to mission forward, to promote it to this generation, to the Anglican Communion and beyond. With a strong senior leadership team, committed board and annual income of around £8m, you will lead our strategic development, implement the agreed plan to 2027, and build the financial sustainability of CMS for the decades ahead.

We are therefore looking for a mission-hearted leader of integrity with a strong strategic ability, deep theological understanding, mature Christian faith and an ability to build relationships and compellingly share the amazing way that God’s Kingdom is coming to the edges through CMS.

The role:

This is a key role within the Executive Leadership team, with accountability for Finance, Procurement and IT at the Globe. You will work collaboratively with the CEO and Executive leadership team to drive strong business as usual delivery, and provide provide balanced insight to Executive Leadership Team and the Senior Leadership Group so that they can take responsibility for questioning routines and rituals, and for streamlining processes that improve efficiency.

The Finance Director is the lead on the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) and is a key part of other relevant committees. You will also attend and report at Board meetings, developing strong working relationships with Board members, the Artistic Director, Executive Leadership members, members of the Senior Leadership Group (SLG), the Finance and Procurement team, the Globe’s IT contractor, and colleagues throughout the Globe.

The skills:

· Chartered Accountant.

· Extensive Director level business experience in a complex organisation.

· A strategic thinker with entrepreneurial instincts

· Demonstrable experience in managing contracts.

· Experience within the charities sector including understanding of the relevant accounting, taxation and other regulatory requirements this presents.

The team:

The Finance Department provides timely and accurate financial information to key stakeholders while protecting Shakespeare’s Globe assets and ensures compliance with laws and regulations in relation to financial and taxation matters. Serving as a key partner on topics requiring economic, financial and value for money inputs and expertise, the Finance Department manages Accounting and Financial Reporting, Tax, Banking Relationships, Procurement, Financial Risk Management, Contracts, Management Reporting, and external audit partners

We are seeking a Chief Finance Officer who will manage the Cathedral Finance team and contribute to leadership across the organisation.

The Role

The Cathedral is a living, working place of worship that has been at the centre of life in Chichester for over nine centuries. The position of CEO is an exciting and challenging role that is primarily external facing in order to promote and further develop the essential support we provide to families in need throughout Camden and Islington.

Core Responsibilities

· Support the team in identifying funders and income generation opportunities

· Build networks with new and existing funders to engage their support

· Represent and participate at external events and meetings to promote HSC&I

· Actively contribute to expanding the role and influence of Home-Start London consortium in the wider London area

· Be accountable for the management of resources to enable us to actively support a minimum of 90 to 120 families at any one time

· Provide leadership and oversight to colleagues and volunteers to ensure the correct outcomes for families through training, governance and quality assurance

· Performance and line management of Head of Delivery, Funding and Projects Manager and Bookkeeper

· Annual budget setting in conjunction with the Treasurer, and ongoing monitoring and reporting of financial position

Personal Specification / Attributes

The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior Manager/Chief Executive with a demonstrable track record of successfully running an organisation or team leadership. You will possess strong strategic management, governance and people skills in addition to being solution focussed. Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential as is the ability to generate income from a range of sources.

Essential knowledge and skills

· Three years experience as a Senior Manager / Chief Executive

· Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload, working to tight deadlines

· Demonstrable success in raising significant income from a variety of external sources

· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

· Accomplished at providing motivational and influential leadership

· Proven track record of successfully delivering change

· Good understanding of financial accounting and budgeting in the charity sector

Main duties and responsibilities

Communications (30% of work)

• Write and publish short regular newsletters for GRP’s stakeholders, including portfolio donors, wealth adviser partners and donors to operating costs.
• Manage and publish weekly content for GRP’s social media accounts, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Manage and curate content for GRP website, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date and maximising opportunities to attract new donors and supporters.
• Coordinate with GRP’s third-party web developer on website maintenance and regularly re-evaluate site structure/functions to maximise its efficacy and usability.

Event planning (30% of work)

• Lead coordinator for in-person and virtual events, in line with events strategy devised by Strategic Relationships Manager.
• Lead event promotion and liaise with venues, speakers, catering, attendees, videographer, graphic designer, etc to ensure events are well-attended and well-run.

Research (20% of work)

• Drive ad-hoc research projects to support GRP’s partnership-building, core fundraising and portfolio selection/assessment efforts.
• Analyse potential sectors and charities for inclusion in GRP’s charity portfolio.
• Identify and research high-quality trust and foundation leads in line with core fundraising strategy.
• Identify and research high-quality leads for wealth adviser or other corporate partnerships.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (20% of work)

• Manage GRP’s new CRM system (Beacon) on behalf of team, ensuring the team uses the CRM system consistently, accurately, and effectively. No prior experience with CRMs required – training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Executive leadership and strategic contribution

• Report directly to the CEO, providing regular updates on financial performance, risk management, and operational efficiency. • Ensure these functions operate in a seamless and ‘invisible’ manner, enhancing the operational efficiency of the charity while supporting its mission delivery.

Compliance and regulatory oversight

• Ensure full compliance with charity governance, statutory reporting, and all relevant legal obligations, including charity law, tax regulations,, financial reporting standards and data protection. The postholder will also act as our Data Protection Officer.
• Ensure that the charity adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations, creating and maintaining a safe working environment for staff, volunteers, and visitors.

Leadership and team development

• Lead, manage, and inspire the Charity Support Services team, ensuring a high level of collaboration and providing the resources needed for effective performance.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, supporting the professional development of staff and encouraging innovative problem-solving.

Stakeholder management and reporting

• Engage with the Board of Trustees and external stakeholders on matters relating to financial performance and risk management.
• Provide regular reports to the Board, senior leadership, and key stakeholders on financial status, risk assessments, and performance against strategic goals.

Person Specification:

Education:

• Essential: A recognised accountancy qualification (preferably ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Desirable: Management/leadership qualification or significant professional experience at a senior level in the charity sector.

Experience and knowledge:

Essential:

o A minimum of three years' experience in a senior management or leadership role.

o Proven track record of managing finance for a medium to large charity.

o Experience as a member of a Senior Management Team, contributing to strategic decision-making and organisational leadership.

o Expertise in financial management, including producing management accounts and monitoring cash flow for organisations with an annual turnover exceeding £2 million.

o Experience in business planning and long-term financial forecasting to support strategic goals.

THE ROLE

The Deputy CEO will play a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the CEO to drive the organisation’s strategic vision, operational excellence, programme leadership, and financial sustainability. As a key leader, you will oversee critical functions, ensure high-impact programme delivery, and strengthen partnerships that expand our reach and influence. You will also act as a key external representative of The Girls’ Network, advocating for our mission and developing relationships with funders, partners, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Deputy CEO Leadership

• Deputise for the CEO as required, leading key meetings, making strategic decisions, and ensuring seamless leadership continuity.
• Support the CEO in monitoring and reporting against The Girls’ Network’s operational performance, ensuring KPIs are being delivered in line with Trustees’ expectations.

Management & Training

• Manage the Senior Programme Team, overseeing performance, development, and wellbeing.

• Ensure the Ambassador Programme is successfully implemented and contributes to an engaged network of former mentees.

Safeguarding Leadership

• Serve as Joint Safeguarding Lead, with accountability for safeguarding decisions.
• Oversee Designated Safeguarding Officers and ensure all policies and procedures reflect best practice.
• Review and approve key training materials, particularly those shared externally.
• Maintain oversight of safeguarding systems, including managing the safeguarding phone and any related rota.

We are currently looking for a Growth and Development Worker based in England to join our team. This is an externally funded post which will be focused on opening new provision and supporting existing provision in order to reduce waiting lists within specific funding areas. This is a very varied and rewarding role that requires someone who is self-motivated, organised, creative, tenacious, positive, IT competent and with a real interest in people. You need to be able to coach, empower and inspire our volunteers and cadets, both in person and remotely, to grow the Sea Cadets.

• Promoting flexible volunteering and the volunteer strategy

Working as part of the Development Team, to plan and execute effective fundraising strategies for Derby Theatre. The role will have a particular focus on copywriting for trusts and foundations, cultivating donor relationships and coordinating and developing Derby Theatres’ Friends scheme.  The Development Officer will also deputise for the Head of Development as required.

Key responsibilities

Trusts and Foundations

· Conduct research into possible funding streams for funding priorities.

· Assist in the production of funding reports for existing supporters.

· Update the reporting schedule, to include deadlines.

· Draft applications for small grants (under £15,000) and support the Head of Development in making applications for large grants.

· Assist the Head of Development in creating proposal templates for all key projects.

Individual Giving, including Friends Scheme

· Work closely with the Head of Development to develop and manage the individual giving strategy, including legacy fundraising, to ensure retention and growth.

· Coordinate and administer the Derby Theatre Friends Scheme including payments and renewals alongside the marketing and box office team.

· Work closely with the marketing team to oversee all Friends communications, including scheduling and writing content.

· Take responsibility for stewarding relationships with donors and Friends including arranging meetings and supporter events throughout the year.

· Work with the Box Office team to oversee and grow Point of Sale (POS) donations and Gift Aid sign up, working to achieve targets set and reporting progress to the Head of Development.

Corporate Giving

· Work with the Head of Development to implement the Corporate Giving strategy to include researching and identifying new corporate prospects. Attend networking events to build relationships and take responsibility for cultivating prospects, developing relevant proposals and key messaging and overseeing the administration relating to corporate supporters.

Development Events

• Organise, manage and attend supporters’ evenings including liaising with front of house and catering staff, and managing the guest list.

Administration

· Support the development and executive teams by preparing briefing notes, and research profiles for the fundraising activity.

· Assist the Head of Development in keeping the team informed with any legislation or trends development within fundraising.

· Maintain accurate records on Spektrix and the shared drive, as well as keeping efficient paper files and audit trails where appropriate and make sure financial data is accurate and funds are received timely.

· Liaise with all teams to ensure that project information and budgets are up to date.

· Update the website and printed materials with the relevant fundraising information and credits.

· Support on the collation of data for applications and reports, including Arts Council England reporting.

General

· To actively support and promote Derby Theatre’s Learning Theatre model, including a commitment to engage with the University of Derby’s Theatre-related higher education provision; to contribute to learning opportunities such as work experience, placements, and the theatre’s role as a learning environment.

· To keep up to date with developments in the industry as they relate to your role, and to contribute to the overall development of the department and organisation.
