HCPT is a registered charity offering life-changing pilgrimage holidays, to Lourdes in the south of France, for disabled and disadvantaged people from around the UK and further afield.
Every Easter around 1,000 disabled and disadvantaged children and young people enjoy a fun and safe week in Lourdes, staying in hotels with their volunteer helpers. Each Summer over 1,500 people, many of them with disabilities or life limiting conditions, enjoy a week at HCPT's Hosanna House in Bartrès near Lourdes. We also offer self-catering pilgrimage holidays in our Bartrès Villa near Lourdes.
HCPT is a charity with its roots in the Catholic faith, however, our organisation and services are open to all. Our volunteers, beneficiaries and staff come from diverse backgrounds, walks of life and from all faiths and none. Our beneficiaries are highly diverse, however we know we have more to do internally to become a truly diverse organisation; we are on a journey to that goal and committed to reaching it.

HCPT is looking for a new Chief Executive Officer to lead our organisation and mission of taking disabled or disadvantaged children and adults to Lourdes on a life-changing pilgrimage holiday. We are seeking an individual to continually develop the organisation and evolve the breadth of skills and experience it requires, supporting the organisation’s ability to deliver its vision and mission.
The role of CEO is lead our work with our UK and French staff, volunteers and suppoarters, as well as outlining and designing goals and strategies, across the organisation, helping us deliver pilgrimage for our beneficiaries, volunteers, and staff, integrating and building on our achievements to date.
As the CEO of HCPT you will be responsible for:
1. Setting and implementing the charity’s vision: Develop and communicate a clear vision for the charity’s growth and success and lead the team in executing the strategic plan.
2. Leadership: Inspire and lead a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
3. Financial management: Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring growth and a sustainable future.
4. Stakeholder relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with beneficiaries, partners, and the board of directors.
5. Risk management: Proactively assess and manage risks, ensuring the charity’s long-term stability and success.

• Successful experience in leadership, ideally within a comparable organisation.
• Strong strategic, operational and financial acumen.

The successful candidate won’t necessarily need to come from the Higher Education sector, but you must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the trends and issues that affect our students.

Cancer52 is a national organisation, created in 2007 by Professor Sir Mike Richards, CBE, then National Clinical Director for Cancer, and registered as a charity in England and Wales in September 2017.
We are an exceptional organisation, providing one voice for all those affected by rare and less common cancers. Historically, these cancers have been underrepresented and under-funded. Today, they represent 47% of people diagnosed with cancer, but 55% of all cancer deaths – a hidden majority. Cancer52’s aim is to change this by taking the collective voice of our members to those who influence cancer policy, research, services and treatment.
Cancer52 is recognised for its strong convening role, bringing together our 115 member charities with organisations in industry, government, the NHS and other stakeholders to address the inequalities faced by patients with rare and less common cancers. Our reputation is strong and we are in a unique position to provide a common voice for these underrepresented cancers. The figures for people with these cancers are challenging and there is much work to do.
After a hugely successful tenure during which Cancer52’s size and influence has grown dramatically, our current CEO is retiring from full time work in July. The Board of Trustees is now seeking to appoint a successor to build on the successes and achievements of recent years.
To be our next Chief Executive, you will be a talented leader, able to motivate and empower others and develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. You will also be an inspiring and authentic individual who is passionate, confident and engaging as the key spokesperson of the organisation and a representative of the diverse Cancer52 membership.
You will be capable of influencing decisions at senior levels of government, in the NHS and in partner organisations operating in the fields of cancer research, prevention, diagnosis and treatment. As our Chief Executive, your role is to be a key proponent of the campaigning and influencing drive of the charity, setting the overall strategy and vision for the organisation.
In addition to the core management competencies required, the role requires demonstrable leadership which will inspire others, along with a comprehensive understanding of Cancer52’s purpose and the problems faced by those charities and organisations representing the rare and less common cancer communities.
Effective networking will be a key skill set, and will enable you to actively seek out, engage and establish productive relationships with political decision makers, NHS leadership and charity CEOs to further our goals. Your approach will be collaborative, motivating stakeholders to engage with our work.

UCA SU represents 5,200 students, primarily across three main sights at Farnham, Epson and Canterbury. We are an independent democratic charity and membership organisation; we have student leadership at every level.
We're a democratic, membership organisation and all students at the University of Creative Arts are automatically members of the Union. Overall legal responsibility for the Students' Union rests with our Board of Trustees which is made up of three full-time Sabbatical Officers, four student trustees and three external trustees. The Sabbatical officers are elected each year by, and from, the student membership of the university. They take a year out of their studies (or immediately after graduating) to take on a fulltime paid staff role and to serve as a trustee.
We have done a huge amount of work over the last 6 months to turn the organisation around to ensure it is wholly focussed on supporting our diverse membership who study at the three campuses. We have updated our staffing structure to have our expertise equally focussed on each campus and have also changed our sabbatical officer structure to do the same.

RLSS UK is seeking to appoint a new CEO, who will be responsible for the leadership and smooth and effective running of RLSS UK. The CEO will have oversight of all departments, with overarching accountability for strategic financial management, income development and diversification, ensuring annual organisational targets are met, and will be responsible for high level relationship management, working as an effective ambassador for RLSS UK.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- An inspirational, decisive, and entrepreneurial leader, ideally with experience gained in the charity/non-profit sector and/or in membership or volunteer focused organisations.
- Track record of leading cohesive and high-performing teams, including experience of engaging a volunteer network as well as managing a staff team.
