We are looking for an Executive Assistant to deliver high level professional administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Summary of key duties:

Executive Assistance:

• Manage room bookings and visitors arrangements, ensuring policy and practice is consistent with the Trust’s values.

Line management responsibilities

• Provide line management to the Operations Administrator, enacting the Trust’s management processes to ensure that all direct reports are motivated, supported and enabled to give of their best.
• Conduct regular reviews and support personal development for direct reports, providing open and honest feedback on performance, setting personal development goals and plans.
• Ensure that all direct reports work within clear and effective safeguarding practices and in accordance with all other Trust policies and procedures.
• Ensure that wellbeing, sickness and absence are managed effectively.
• Contribute to Trust-wide people management policies, procedures and team culture as a member of the People Manager Team.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven experience of working as a Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant at a senior level
• Experience of accurate minute-taking and record-keeping for both formal and informal meetings
• Team leadership, experience managing or supporting colleagues

We’re seeking an experienced, visionary leader to chair our Education Committee, guiding a passionate professional community and shaping the impact of acupuncture education.

This is a unique opportunity to foster collaboration, and champion the educational aims of an influential complementary health profession recognised by the WHO. We are looking for someone who values the profession, understands its potential, and is committed to supporting its educational development and visibility.

To ensure an independent perspective informed by broader sector insight (across higher education and health), this role is open to senior education leaders from other UK healthcare professions outside acupuncture.

What you’ll do

· Support the development of the educational strategy and decision-making that ensures the committee’s work is both forward-looking and fit-for-purpose.

· Lead and chair meetings effectively, balancing strong voices and diverse perspectives.

· Uphold the principles of Public life (NOLAN principles)  build collaboration and trust across committee members, staff leading on education, and external stakeholders.

· Bring an external perspective to shape the committee’s work, policies, and outputs so they are credible, impactful, and positively perceived by external audiences (e.g., public, students, other professions).

Who we’re looking for

Someone with significant senior leadership experience in UK healthcare higher education, from a profession other than acupuncture, with a strong understanding of professional education, governance, and academic standards.

You will have:

· a collaborative, inclusive style and excellent facilitation skills

· the ability to manage vocal and engaged members effectively while maintaining focus on outcomes

· strategic thinking with the ability to bring external insight to influence committee outputs and alignment with wider organisational goals

· the capacity to balance independent judgment and delegated authority alongside understanding education’s role within the organisational vision and priorities

· a passion for supporting and championing acupuncture education and standards while offering an independent perspective informed by broader sector insight

Time commitment:

· 3 meetings per year plus 4 Governing Board meetings

· Regular touchpoints with Chair of the Governing Board, Chair of Accreditation Committee, CEO and Education manager.

Hopscotch Women's Centre seeks a visionary CEO to lead our evolution from a trusted service provider to influential systems changemaker. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the future of women's services across London whilst building on our award-winning foundation.

Our unique dual mission combines trauma-informed Women's Centre programmes (VAWG advocacy, mental wellbeing support, refugee advocacy, pre-employment services) with a thriving CQC-regulated Homecare social enterprise. Together, these demonstrate how values-driven organisations can achieve both social impact and financial sustainability.

We seek a CEO who combines strategic sophistication with deep empathy. You'll bring proven leadership experience in voluntary, statutory, or health sectors, with strong fundraising capabilities and understanding of both community advocacy and health/social care landscapes.

Your empathetic leadership will inspire our team of dedicated professionals whilst strengthening governance frameworks and ensuring regulatory compliance. You'll influence policy conversations at local, regional, and national levels whilst maintaining authentic relationships with the communities we serve.

What you’ll do

Reporting directly to our CEO, you will lead the Charities Team – overseeing directors across fundraising, marketing, funding & impact, strategy and innovation, and business and play a key role on the Foundation’s Executive Team.

Borders Forest Trust (BFT) are recruiting for a new Chief Executive .

BFT is a charity established to restore native woodland habitats to Southern Scotland, an area with the lowest percentage of native woodlands in mainland Scotland. Since 1996, we have been working towards planting trees, restoring peatlands and other natural habitats, enriching the biological diversity of around 31 sq km in the Southern Uplands. They demonstrate large scale ecological restoration in action, and inspire landowners, statutory bodies, local communities and policy makers to embrace this alternative model for land use and conservation.

The charity’s previous Director has led the organisation for five years, and BFT are in a strong position, ready to develop a new organisational strategy and grow. This is a role of great strategic importance to the charity and the role is varied, with a broad remit.  

The Chief Executive role has organisational responsibility for 12 members of staff, some office based but most out and about across the countryside in which BFT works.  

As Chief Executive, you’ll bring proven senior leadership experience and the ability to get the best from staff and volunteers. A natural communicator, you’ll engage confidently with a wide range of people – from volunteers and donors to policymakers and conservation experts. 

You’ll have experience generating significant income in the not-for-profit sector, alongside strengths in strategic planning and programme development. Passionate about conservation, you’ll be an inspiring ambassador for Borders Forest Trust, able to share our impact and build lasting partnerships that help us achieve our vision. 

This role is hybrid based, with candidates being in the Head Office in Jedburgh (Scottish Borders) once or twice weekly, with other time spent out and about across the geography BFT covers. We're now looking for a new Chief Executive to lead BackUp North West into its next chapter, as their long-serving CEO steps down leaving a legacy of impact, growth and unwavering dedication to young people. Salary: £70-80k per annum
Location: Bolton, mostly onsite with some flexibility where needed

• Commitment to amplifying young voices and ensuring young people are at the heart of all decision-making.
