You’ll be joining a fast-paced but very supportive team of around 15 people, with plenty of guidance at the start and a strong culture of working together. What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll provide the core administrative support that keeps the Schools and Colleges Early Support Service running efficiently, ensuring that appointments, communications, data processes and day-to-day operations are well coordinated so practitioners can focus on supporting children, young people and school staff. You’ll work closely with practitioners and the Project Manager, and you’ll also build regular connections with school staff and education professionals across the country. These relationships are central to the role and key to keeping the service running smoothly.

• Getting up to speed quickly with scheduling, mailbox management and core administrative processes.
• Helping maintain smooth service delivery by keeping information accurate, organised and shared in a timely way.
• You’ll manage daily service administration, oversee intervention activity and act as a point of contact for practitioners.
• Scheduling appointments, webinars, training sessions and internal/external meetings, making sure all logistics are in place.
• You’ll monitor and manage the service mailbox, respond to enquiries and share prepared communications with stakeholders.
• Organising meeting arrangements, preparing agendas, circulating papers and taking accurate minutes when required.
• You’ll maintain and update databases and spreadsheets, track service uptake, and collate data for reporting and analysis.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be a well-organised and proactive administrator who’s confident with digital tools, comfortable managing a busy workload, and able to communicate clearly and professionally with practitioners, schools and other stakeholders.

• You should have experience working in a busy administrative setting and be confident juggling multiple tasks.
• Strong IT skills are important, including ease with MS Office, web-based systems and databases/CRMs.
• You’ll need excellent organisation, attention to detail and time-management skills to stay on top of deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work well with a range of colleagues and professionals.
• A flexible, problem-solving approach is key, as well as an understanding—or willingness to develop an understanding—of the school environment, safeguarding and confidentiality.

Key details

Hours: Full time: usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Flexible working is considered depending on individual situation and service needs. Must work Friday.

Salary: £27,040 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme

Location: Location Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, either at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH) or our Northern Hub (Huckletree, The Express Building, 9 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 5AD). There may be scope for increased remote working for the right person.

TAG Youth Club, an award-winning charity and a youth club open to children, young people and young adults, whatever their disability. TAG started almost 25 years ago, as a group of parents who got together to create an inclusive space for their disabled young people to socialise.  From those humble beginnings TAG has now grown to over 250 members and supports over 750 family members.The club now makes many activities available to young disabled people that would not ordinarily be available to them (such as climbing, skiing, archery, parkour, scootering and skateboarding). Our activities provide members with opportunities to meet new people, make friends, learn social and life skills, and to thrive and grow in confidence and independence.

This exciting new part time role has been created to support the CEO and Head of Operations, providing administrative support in a wide variety of areas including finance, fundraising, office systems and management, premises, promotion, marketing and communications. 

Financial administration includes input and reconciliation of all financial data and ensures efficient reporting, analysis and measurement of data and financial information against set timescales, targets and objectives. H/she will support annual budget preparation and will contribute to the Annual Report.

H/she will track funding opportunities, deadlines and bid submissions and will draft/edit grant applications.  They will maintain the funding database and track Award deadlines and write Award entries.

ABOUT THE CLINK CHARITY

The Clink Charity, founded in 2009, aims to prevent and reduce reoffending through training, rehabilitation and support. We deliver hospitality and horticulture training behind prison walls and in the community, creating an environment where students gain skills, confidence and qualifications to rebuild their lives.

We have trained approximately 5,000 people in prison and delivered 2,600 City & Guilds qualifications across hospitality and food courses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 General Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for financial management, including strategic planning, reporting, budgeting, systems and controls.
• Responsibility for IT, HR, premises, lettings and administration.
• Active member of the senior leadership team, working with colleagues and the Board of Trustees.
• Promote the Charity’s ethos and support charity initiatives and policies.

Financial Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the financial strategy and conduct financial modelling for strategic decision-making.
• Lead all financial procedures and reporting, including monthly budget monitoring, management accounts and annual accounts.
• Maintain financial controls, standards and systems.
• Prepare and maintain budgets, financial plans and forecasts.
• Provide information for financial returns, bids and grant claims.
• Maintain the Asset Register and Risk Register.
• Negotiate, manage and monitor tenders, contracts, licences and service agreements.
• Act as cost centre manager for designated budget areas.

HR Responsibilities

• Oversee policies and procedures and ensure the Handbook is updated in line with legislation.

Premises Management

• Lead responsibility for the Head Office site, including maintenance and development.
• Report to the CEO and Trustees on premises issues and recommend repairs or capital works.
• Liaise with contractors regarding building maintenance.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement savings.
• Prepare an annual maintenance plan and capital work forecasts.
• Manage income from facility lettings and other revenue sources.
• Manage the premises budget and ensure value for money.

Health and Safety

• Act as Health and Safety Officer and ensure compliance with all legislation and procedures.
• Prepare and update the emergency plan and risk analysis.
• Conduct regular health and safety risk assessments.
• Ensure First Aid requirements are met and logs maintained.
• Arrange health and safety training.

IT Support

• Manage the IT Services contract with Computerlink.
• Ensure IT systems and devices are well maintained.
• Plan and oversee IT projects and updates.
• Ensure e-safety and GDPR compliance.

• Ensure all necessary IT licences are in place.

Risk Management and Data Protection

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Lead Trusts & Grants Officer is responsible for developing and delivering income from mid-value grant making funders, notably trusts and foundations. The Lucy Faithfull Foundation (LFF) is a UK-wide charity that exists to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation. We’re here for everyone who needs us. We protect children by working with people who pose a risk and diverting them from causing harm. We support individuals and families who have been affected by abuse. And we help professionals who work with families to create safer environments for children through delivering risk assessments, interventions, training and consultancy. We run the confidential Stop It Now helpline and Shore, a website and chat service for teenagers.

About the role and you

We are recruiting for a skilled and experienced manager to join the Helpline team. You will support the Head of Stop It Now, working alongside our Helpline Managers and Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Manager in the day to day running of the helpline and provide support and advice to Helpline Advisors. You will have direct client contact via telephone, a secure message service and online chat. You will also support with the training of staff and promotion of the work of the helpline.

You will have experience in working directly with one or more of our key target groups: - for example adults and/or children and young people who have sexually harmful behaviours, or child victims of sexual abuse, or family members of these individuals.  Our ideal candidate will be an energetic professional, who is proactive and outcome focused with exceptional communication and relationship skills. You will be able to evidence a successful track record of working with individuals and families impacted by child sexual abuse. You will be able to demonstrate confidence in translating the charity’s mission into direct child protection practice and equipping other professionals in tackling child sexual abuse.

Reporting to the Senior Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Operation Smile UK. As an integral part of the Supporter Care team, you will successfully support the Individual Giving programme and wider fundraising activities, providing support to ever-increasing income and supporter stewardship for the delivery of increasing levels of unrestricted income for Operation Smile UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for existing supporters and new supporters who respond to our fundraising activities by phone, email, letter or in person, letter, or email delivering outstanding supporter care
• Liaise with supporters in timely communication via email, phone, and mail, with excellent customer care
• Prioritise answering incoming phone calls and escalate any difficult situations/complaints to the Senior Supporter Care Manager

CPAG is seeking an AI Coordinator for a two-year fixed term to support our work in the responsible use of AI. In this role, you will lead on planning, delivering, and monitoring AI projects in collaboration with our partner organisations. This work involves the ongoing protection of CPAG's intellectual property and reputation as a sector leader. You’ll carry out regular evaluation of each project and regularly update stakeholders with performance metrics, user feedback, and impact assessments.

This new role also involves developing training materials and delivering sessions to upskill CPAG staff in AI technologies, with tailored materials for the needs of different teams. You will ‘own’ and maintain the relevant internal policy documents and processes for AI use and will oversee the use and optimisation of AI tools across the organisation. Alongside colleagues, you’ll manage risk and compliance (including legal and ethical standards) to ensure responsible AI adoption that is fully compatible with CPAG’s mission. You’ll monitor developments in AI, assessing new products for risk and opportunity, and share lessons learned across the charity.

We’re looking for someone with strong project coordination skills, experience of managing multiple stakeholders, and a keen interest in and experience of AI and emerging technologies.
