Job description

SWA is seeking an experienced leader who has a proven track record in managing a dynamic and growing organisation. Leading a committed team who are value-based and mission-driven, you will be driving the strategic leadership of SWA. You will also play a key role in the wider Greater Manchester Domestic Abuse forums.

You will have responsibility for SWA as a whole, including operations, strategy and business development. You will bring your experience of managing and mitigating risk, governance and performance management ensuring the organisation meets all of its legal and regulatory requirements. Supporting a board of trustees you will ensure financial sustainability and be responsible for the operational delivery of the strategic plan. Teamwork is essential however, individual skill and co-production in leadership is equally fostered.

You will act as our ambassador building on our long-standing history of successful and specialist service delivery and you will inspire the SWA team to drive progress with determination and compassion.

Above all you will enable SWA to continue its culture of hope and growth, unlocking the potential of your team and inspiring our stakeholders to believe that recovery from domestic abuse and violence is possible.
