You will be a born organiser, with superb judgment, a diplomatic approach, solution focused and with excellent problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to think two steps ahead, guided by our strategic and operational priorities, and the confidence to steer senior managers accordingly. You will bring a meticulous attention to detail and exemplary skills in prioritisation, time management and task completion. Advanced skills in MS Office are essential. Your written and verbal communication skills will be first-rate, with stakeholders at all levels. You will be comfortable handling confidential material with the utmost discretion. You will have proven experience supporting senior executives and Boards, ideally in the charity or non-profit sector. The EA will also play a proactive role in improving organisational processes and supporting priority areas as needed.
This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the CEO to make sure their diary supports their strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include managing, triaging and responding to emails, complex diary management to ensure effective use of their time, providing briefing papers and ensuring the CEO is well prepared for meetings, and ensuring we’ve efficient governance and office processes. You will need to have the ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and sensitivity, with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. You will act as that indispensable individual for the CEO, ultimately responsible for proactively ensuring their work life runs effectively and efficiently. The key focus of the role is to ensure the CEO is able to maximise their impact and influence in the charity, plus ensuring the smooth operation of board and committee functions,

About the role
We are seeking a transformational and visionary Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) to lead a national youth focused organisation, dedicated to promoting peer-led early intervention support for those in need. The successful candidate will be the first employed leader, propelling Youth4Youth from its robust foundations to the next stages of its development. Context: Age UK Wandsworth is a local, independent charity that works to promote the wellbeing of all older people in the London Borough of Wandsworth. This is a new role in our staff team that has been created to support our CEO during an exciting transition period where the organisation is growing and developing to help older people.
This role will suit an experienced administrative professional whose emotional intelligence is highly developed and who can problem-solve with maturity in a complex, confidential and fast-paced environment.
You will be working with a small team who are extremely busy making a difference to the lives of older people in Wandsworth and your role will be pivotal to making their lives easier.

Its unique, evidence-based practice supports people facing some of life’s most complex challenges, from neurological conditions and developmental delays to mental health difficulties and life-limiting illnesses.
At the heart of the charity’s work is a clear mission: to use music to break down barriers and challenge injustice. With a bold new strategy and a clear national ambition, the organisation is calling for music therapy to be recognised, integrated and accessible as part of the UK’s health and care system.
The charity is now seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the next phase of this journey. This is a significant leadership opportunity for an experienced, purpose-driven executive who can inspire teams, influence national conversations and ensure long-term impact and sustainability.
As CEO, you will be responsible for leading the organisation with clarity, compassion and strategic focus. You will work closely with the Board and Senior Leadership Team to ensure that the charity remains financially resilient, operationally effective and deeply aligned to its values. You will act as a key ambassador for the organisation, building strategic partnerships, engaging with government and funders, and championing the transformative power of music across a wide range of sectors. Internally, you will lead on organisational culture, team wellbeing and inclusive practice, ensuring the charity remains a values-led and mission-driven employer of choice.
We are looking for a leader who brings:

Significant senior leadership experience, ideally at CEO or Executive Director level, within a complex, purpose-driven organisation

A strong track record in strategic planning, income growth and organisational transformation

Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience representing an organisation at a national level

Experience working with a Board of Trustees to ensure strong governance and long-term sustainability

A deep personal commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, wellbeing and social impact
While direct experience of music therapy is not essential, candidates must demonstrate a strong alignment with the mission and values of the organisation. You will understand the importance of creative expression, human connection and inclusive access to care, and bring the leadership skills to make these values a reality across the UK.

Love Squared exists because so many children are brave. Children who, despite overwhelming anxiety, still find the courage to support their friends, join therapeutic groups or offer kindness to others. We work with some of society’s most vulnerable children and young people, including those facing mental health challenges, trauma, special educational needs, disability and neurodivergence. Many cannot access school because there is no suitable place for their needs, or because school is not safe for them. About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive to lead Love Squared through its next stage of growth and development.
This is a role for someone who can lead with heart, head and hands, combining compassion with commercial acumen and creativity with operational rigour.
You will:
