Finance Coordinator is a new role to support our expanding services.
This newly created role will form part of our Finance Team. As a member of a small but dynamic team, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Officer and Head of Finance. Your role will be critical to our success, with your principal responsibilities including:
- processing purchase ledger invoices
- inputting bank and all financial transactions onto the Xero accounting system
- recording donations to Xero accounting system
- reconciling donations, stewardship and CAF transactions with Xero
- reconciling cheques, standing orders and Stripe transactions with Xero
- processing the weekly payment runs ensuring that all payments are paid on time
- processing staff and volunteer expenses
You will have the support of our excellent and established Finance Team, which is central to the smooth and effective running of our operations. You will be responsible for liaising with colleagues at all levels across the organisation, as well as our Trustees, partners and suppliers.

The Role
What will I be doing?
- Create a powerful alliance of Corporate Partners to influence science strategies and investment in areas such as advanced sensing, photonics, quantum technologies, semiconductors, renewable energy, autonomous systems and medtech
- Secure long-term relationships by delivering impactful services that meet partners’ needs: working with cross-organisation teams to drive take up of IOP membership, professional registrations, thought leadership articles and access to publishing content
- Manage risks and ensure financial sustainability of the Corporate Partners Alliance
Projects you work on may include:
- Deliver annual series of leadership visits to Corporate Partners organisations to explore interests and common priorities around skills, R&D, infrastructure and business support
- Manage and deliver science insights and advocacy activities with Corporate Partners, via high-level meetings with senior stakeholders in government, industry, finance and academia
- Facilitate ideation workshops, prepare briefings and produce reports to develop new insights and seed new activities to support IOP and partner priorities
Who will I work with?
- Executive Directors and Chief Technology Officers in large R&D intensive businesses
- IOP leadership and cross-organisational teams including our publishing company
- Closely with IOP Associate Director for Science, Business and Data Insights
You are likely to have the following experience
- Credibility in building corporate partnerships with c-suite and senior leaders in R&D intensive, large businesses
- Knowledge of working at the interface of government policy, business and academia regarding science, technology and innovation
- Experience of implementing projects that involve managing senior stakeholders and decision makers in business and securing income targets

Summary
The Interim Head of Funding will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the funding strategy of our three charities (Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, Guy’s Cancer Charity and Evelina London Children’s Charity). Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Funding
· Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end funding process from development of applications to decisions and monitoring of funded programmes.
· Overseeing ongoing delivery of the funding strategy by working with Funding Managers to effectively deliver and manage funding portfolios.
· Co-chairing of funding committees as required, supporting delivery in line with our governance structures.
· Oversee effective management of our Special Purpose Funds (SPFs)
· Working with finance teams and Funding Managers to ensure appropriate financial reporting and information is available across our funding portfolio.
· Supporting on financial and operational planning in-year, at mid-year review and in planning for future years, in line with our strategy.
· Supporting Funding Managers to maintain strong relationships with the Trust leads, to enable a partnership approach
· Working closely with the Head of Evaluation & Learning to ensure evaluation and learning are embedded at every stage of the funding cycle
· Leading on cross-team programmes of work such as embedding health equity into our funding, deliver effective patient and public engagement (working with the Patient and Public Engagement Manager) across our decision-making and deliver improvements to our grant-making.
· Supporting the iteration of the funding strategy
Other
· Provide line management to the Funding Managers and Patient and Public Engagement Manager as well as supporting the overall work of the wider team.
· As a key senior leader of the Funding and Impact Team, contribute and support the wider work of the team.

Working Environment:

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Fundraiser to join our friendly team. We seek someone who feels passionately about our mission, to help us to drive income and ensure Success Club can continue to change lives, by building strong engagement with our donors and fundraisers. Conservation Collective (CC) funds solutions to protect the environment, restore nature, and safeguard against climate change. The CC UK charity incubates, launches, and supports locally focused foundations, which open new funding channels to support the most impactful environmental grassroots projects. Our network comprises 20 members based all over the world and is growing.
We manage and monitor our donor relations, grant giving governance, contacts, and event activities, via a bespoke and customised salesforce system. This was launched in early 2022 and has been developed and configured to meet our growing needs since then.
As the demand for our model increases around the world, we need a highly capable Salesforce Administrator to support us to ensure our system is well managed, users are trained, and we can create accurate reports for our donors and other audiences. We’re looking for someone who can not only ensure that the existing system works well, is well managed and who can help us generate high-quality reports from the system to help us to raise more funding to support grassroots conservation work.
The role will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the rest of the team in the UK and around the world, it is a critical role that is central to the success of our global network, and there is lots of scope for an ambitious candidate to grow in responsibility with it.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Salesforce System: maintenance, administration, prioritisation and training
Maintenance, user management, support and development

Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, managing user access, profiles, roles, and security settings.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve any operational or functional problem.

Maintain reliable records in all objects on Salesforce by eliminating duplicates monthly, processing user deletion requests and updating records for lists with up-to-date information on key stakeholders (e.g. trustees, contractors etc).

Ensure automatic back-ups are working and up to date and an understanding of how to restore back-ups if needed, protecting our organisational data.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations and process.

Managing Data Import Templates to upload ad-hoc batch data into Opportunities, using Data Loader or any other data import and data quality tools.

Oversee data governance log: maintaining log of changes to review with the team, discussing effect on budget and system usage to feed into prioritisation of new features and functionality, support the communication of any platform changes to end users

Manage onboarding and offboarding users both with Salesforce and Microsoft platforms.

Oversee smooth onboarding and training process for new members and refresher training where appropriate to ensure effective adoption and system use.

Respond to individual questions from users via tickets, on Slack and share tips and tricks regularly via Slack Channel updates to review any Salesforce learnings, any features from latest Salesforce release, any security updates, any best practices.

Work with our external Salesforce consultants on any requests of flow maintenance or improvements and monitoring effective use of credits and budgets.
Form Assembly Management

Manage the integration of Form Assembly with Salesforce ensuring all connectors work well and troubleshoot and update connections where needed.

Support users with the building/maintenance of individual Grant Application forms, updating when needed (ad hoc) and embedding them in their websites.

Dashboard and Reporting Management

Overseeing our IT systems with the support of outsourced consultants
As well as the Salesforce administration, the candidate we’re looking for will also be able to:

Be a key point of contact with our outsourced IT company, overseeing the creation of new users and managing the leavers’ processes on the MS 365 environment

Support CC team to maintain and ensure Sharepoint intranet is working smoothly and is up to date, user management of licenses and active users, their security settings, distribution lists.
Support the Data Protection Officer in data protection matters.
The successful candidate for this role will need to demonstrate:

What you’ll be doing
As our Policy and Advocacy Manager, you will play a leading role in shaping and advancing River Action’s political and policy influence, working closely with the Head of Legal and Policy, Chief Executive and wider team to develop and execute an impactful policy and advocacy strategy.
River Action is the Co-Secretariat for the APPG on Water Pollution, offering our Policy and Advocacy Manager a unique opportunity to shape the policy direction for River Action and also to influence policy development across Parliament.
You will also work closely with our public affairs agency who manage our daily Westminster activities.

Lead River Action’s policy and advocacy work on agricultural, sewage and industrial water pollution, with a focus on regulation, funding and legal frameworks.

Main purpose of the job
A fantastic opportunity has emerged to join Bond’s communications team, as its new Media Adviser.
This position will add capacity to Bond’s media function to help build Bond’s media presence, support the delivery of Bond’s strategy and support the sector in championing humanitarian assistance and development that works to help those who need it the most. This post has two main purposes. Firstly, to coordinate and engage with communications and media specialists across the sector to address shared issues and achieve shared objectives together. Secondly, to maximise opportunities to achieve regular media coverage to help deliver Bond’s strategic objectives and services in appropriate sector press, in support of Bond’s strategy, positioning and reputation.
This role will work collaboratively across the organisation and the NGO sector and will help deliver a planned, strategic, consistent, and integrated approach to our media work.
Main responsibilities
Press office (30%)
- Act as prime contact for enquiries from press or other media representatives
- Identify matters on which collective action/comment from Bond and/or the wider sector may or may not be required
- Ensure consistent messaging around Bond’s media work and campaigns or sector initiatives in which Bond is engaged
- Write and sell-in collective letters, statements, opinion pieces, features, and responses to print, online and broadcast media
- Updating Bond’s press lists while developing and maintaining good relationships with key journalists in relevant media
- Record and report media coverage of Bond and parliamentary stakeholders, using Bond’s media monitoring platform to track coverage
- Use Bond’s media monitoring platform to track government announcements and parliamentary stakeholder activity

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Director to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving our fundraising efforts, developing relationships, building and managing cross organisational and corporate partnerships, and expanding our network to support and enhance our programmes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent networking abilities, and a passion for our mission. The postholder is key in the delivery of the organisation’s strategic vision and direction.
The core function of the role will be to help lead the organisation as it looks to expand its services and capacity to serve those with learning disabilities.
Over the last few months, CPF has been looking into upcoming tender opportunities and recently finished a feasibility study which has provided recommendations on some of the most viable partnership opportunities and expanded service provisions that could play a vital role in moving forward. These are built around three main priority areas – sustaining and expanding the advocacy service, building long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships with other organisations that result in additional service provisions, and expanding the use of the current premise to create a warm and welcoming space throughout the week and into the evenings.
The Director will be expected to take on some of the current conversations and plans around the three priority areas of the advocacy service, partnerships and creating a warm and welcome space; identifying the most viable way to bring in sustainable funding for these. The Director will be responsible for fundraising and income generation and they will be expected to identify grants and funding opportunities and varied income generation sources for the organisation. They will also develop fundraising strategies, cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors, identify funding, write bids and explore grant opportunities to ensure the charity has the resources to fulfil its mission.

Day-to-day, you’ll plan and deliver social and paid media strategies to drive flagship marketing campaigns and daily channel activity. You’ll use insights to increase engagement, raise awareness, attract and retain supporters, and drive conversions against KPIs.
Leading social content production, you’ll be confident in creating videos and graphics. You’ll proactively drive our UGC (user generated content) media, building strong relationships with external community voices to co-produce community-focused videos.
