Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Engagement, you will play a key role in implementing fundraising plans that focus on researching, building relationships, and providing exceptional stewardship to corporate partners and major donors. This position will actively contribute to the development of broader fundraising strategies to support the organisation's growth.  In addition, the role is responsible for the creation and growth of a legacy giving programme. This will involve working with solicitors, accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to identify potential legators. You will engage in research, build relationships, and host targeted events to cultivate support for legacy giving. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Head of Fundraising and Engagement and the Marketing and Communications Lead to develop strategies for marketing legacies and expanding this critical area of support.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled multi-tasker with strong project management and interpersonal abilities, capable of meeting tight deadlines and managing important partnerships effectively.

We are looking for someone experienced, ambitious and creative to be our first Senior Philanthropy and Partnership Manager, to drive our fundraising strategy, create new opportunities and relationships, lead the cultivation and stewardship of new trust funders, and develop a new major donor fundraising programme.

In this role you will have strategic accountability for fundraising and overseeing progress towards fundraising targets, working with the team and the Board to generate ideas and deliver proposals for raising funds, and for highlighting our impact to potential donors. You will be a hands-on fundraiser, who builds relationships with donors, keeps on top of developments in the funding landscape, develops compelling and creative pitches and proposals for funders, and as a result delivers sustainable income generation to ensure Spotlight achieves our organisational goals.

• Lead on executing Spotlight’s fundraising strategy and donor management

• Identify, maintain and develop a robust pipeline of prospects and funders across high-net-worth individuals, trusts and foundations and other appropriate giving vehicles

Person specification - essential criteria

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate who will enjoy working each day with young people and who will thrive in a frontline, community-based, fast-paced and rewarding role. You will be taking up a permanent role as Centre Leader at one of our IntoUniversity centres in London. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting  IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery.

The Director of Philanthropy Partnerships will be a member of the executive leadership team, and they will lead the ambitious Philanthropy team to fundraise from corporate partners, Major Donors, Trusts and Foundations. Personal Development Activities

• Manage the Youth Engagement Officer through weekly meetings, ensuring alignment with programme goals and participant needs.

Safeguarding – Kinetic Futures 

• Ensure all programmes, workshops, and events comply with the Foundation’s safeguarding policies, including DBS checks and training requirements. 

• Ensure risk assessments and all relevant trip packs are created for any external visits in good time so they can get signed off. 

• Work with the COO to support safeguarding procedures, coordinating to address concerns promptly. 

• Maintain a visible presence at schools and programme sites to promote a culture of safety and accountability. 

Person Specification  

Essential Skills and Experience 

• Passion for the Kinetic Foundation’s vision and mission, with an understanding of the challenges faced by disadvantaged young people in London. 

• Experience managing youth-focused programmes, ideally in education, employability, or sports settings. 

• Proven project management skills, with the ability to implement and evaluate programmes and manage budgets effectively. 

• Knowledge of working in school environments, particularly with KS3, KS4, or post-16 education settings. 

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM systems for event and data management. 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage diverse stakeholders, including funders, schools, and participants. 

• Analytical skills to collect, clean, and interpret programme data.

Senior Programme Manager (Part-time Contract)

The Role:

This is an exciting 15-month contract opportunity for a Senior Programme Manager with experience in participatory/community arts who is passionate about driving impactful change and fostering intergenerational connections within an evolving, inclusive organisation. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless continuity and high-quality delivery of our respected intergenerational and care home arts programme during a period of organisational evolution.

You excel at cultivating strong, authentic relationships with community and non-arts organisations, artists, and participants. With a proven track record in socially engaged practice and direct line management, you are adept at navigating changing environments and possess excellent communication skills that build and maintain vital connections. Your dedication to Magic Me’s mission and the transformative power of intergenerational arts is clearly evident.

Key responsibilities and deliverables:

• Programme oversight & leadership: Provide oversight of the full year creative programme, ensuring high quality delivery and the effective integration of individual projects. Collaborate on the design and management of the overall programme budget and manage staff and artist capacity.

• Team leadership & mentorship: Line-manage two Project Managers, fostering a supportive environment and prioritizing their development. Provide direct mentorship to a designated Project Manager as part of Magic Me's internal succession plan for the SPM role.

• Project practice & frameworks: Take responsibility for implementing effective ways of working for the Programme Team. Oversee project evaluation and ensure evaluation practice adheres to the ACE Impact & Insight framework.

• Partnership & artist relationships: Nurture key partner and artist relationships and oversee the Project Managers' portfolios of key relationships. Identify, engage, and establish potential arts and non-arts partners and participants for the 26/27 programme.

The role

In order to fulfil its mission of providing coverage of global philanthropy, Alliance Publishing Trust actively partners with philanthropy organisations worldwide. Working alongside the Networks & Engagement Lead, you - as Partnerships Manager - will be the lead for Alliance’s existing partnerships, ensuring they are delivered, reviewing their impact and deepening our relationships with them.
