As our Education Delivery Manager, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of our national programmes, ensuring they run smoothly, professionally, and with real impact. You’ll coordinate logistics, oversee delivery partners, and ensure schools and volunteers have a brilliant experience from start to finish. You’ll work closely with the Education and Impact Manager to uphold quality standards and embed safeguarding and risk management across our programme cycles.
You’ll also manage our coordination team, setting clear priorities, supporting their development, and guiding them through busy delivery periods. As part of Young Citizens’ management team, you’ll help shape a culture of proactive leadership, clarity, and accountability. This role is perfect for someone who is organised, relationship‑driven, and energised by leading delivery in a fast-paced environment.

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of national education programmes across primary and secondary portfolios
- Manage timelines, logistics, resources, and delivery partners for peak delivery periods
- Line-manage our small coordination team, providing regular 1:1s, coaching, and performance reviews
- Build strong relationships with schools, volunteers, venues, and partners
- Ensure safeguarding, risk management, and high-quality standards are embedded throughout delivery
- Support operational planning, evaluation, and reporting to senior leadership and funders
- Represent Young Citizens at events and, where needed, support facilitation of workshops or Mock Trials

Working closely with the Fundraising Manager and Head of Philanthropy, you will support a range of fundraising activities, most predominantly researching new avenues for funding within trusts, foundations and corporate partners, completing grant applications, carrying out communications and reporting to existing funders and raising the profile of the charity through representing Action Tutoring at funder or networking events. Duties and responsibilities
- Research new opportunities for Action Tutoring to explore for fundraising and carry out initial enquiries to determine suitability to apply to trusts and foundations.
- Prepare and submit grant applications to suitable trusts, foundations and corporates, carrying out careful research to ensure the applications are as strong as possible and include relevant data and case studies.
- Work alongside the Corporate Partnerships Team to encourage corporate support through donations or grants.
- Identify and lead on local fundraising opportunities in Action Tutoring’s nine key regions, for example researching and submitting applications for local grants and to local businesses.
- Research and determine suitability of profile raising opportunities or awards for Action Tutoring to apply to, such as corporate Charity of the Year opportunities, the Third Sector Awards and Charity Awards.

Qualifications criteria:
- Previous experience in fundraising, or transferable experience that shows strong writing skills.
- Right to work in the UK.

We are excited to share an opportunity to join Refuge as an Eastern European Independent Gender Violence Advocate (IGVA) as we enter an important new chapter of growth, supported by funding from the National Lottery Community Fund. This is a vital role which provides high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children in the community.
You will be part of a highly skilled and supportive team committed to collaborative working and continuous learning. This role offers the chance to strengthen multi-agency partnerships to enhance outreach and support for survivors, while also contributing to increasing professional understanding of the specific needs of Eastern European women and children affected by domestic abuse and violence.
You will provide capacity-building in the form of advice, advocacy, support, and briefings across three London boroughs to statutory agencies and community organizations around the needs of Eastern European domestic abuse survivors, to embed best practice across our communities.
It is essential for candidates to be proficient in one or more Eastern European languages.
We particularly encourage applications from Romanian, Lithuanian or Polish speaking candidates.
You will have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to women as well as up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to survivors of gender-based violence.
