Marketing and Communications Officer
We are recruiting a Marketing and Communications Officer to champion and manage the PAPYRUS brand and support the delivery of our projects and services through data-driven campaigns, across email, organic social, and paid digital marketing channels.
What you will do:
Support the day to day running of social media platforms to promote our services, increase brand awareness and drive engagement with our audiences.
Act as the lead for paid social media and web campaigns, working closely with teams across the charity to fulfil individual campaign goals.
Work with different advertising platforms, including Meta, TikTok Ads Manager and Google Ads to promote PAPYRUS services to new audiences.
Produce regular campaign reports using analytical tools to optimise and inform activity on other channels.
Monitor the impact of marketing campaigns to identify and recognise trends within the data to inform future campaigns.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience of working in marketing and communications;
Proven track record of utilising a data-driven and goal-oriented approach to produce effective multichannel marketing campaigns;

The PG Dip CAPNiP programme is an exciting distance learning programme from Anna Freud and UCL. The programme holds a particular focus on trauma and trauma-informed practice, including a specialist module on working with the impact of trauma, and on trauma-informed practice in education. The programme runs for one year full-time, or two years part-time.

About the Role

The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. The post holder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major donors and lead on building relationships with new potential supporters to secure 5 and 6 figure donations. You will be developing strategic and personalised solicitation and stewardship plans for a portfolio of donors and prospects, contributing to their annual fundraising targets. You will also oversee the Patrons programme at Empower, ensuring continued support year on year.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have excellent relationship management and experience in bringing in new business to maximise income, either from the charity sector or commercially. Ideally, this will be at the five figure+ level.
- Have experience consistently hitting and/or exceeding both financial and non-financial KPIs.
- Have demonstrable leadership experience and input into an organisation's fundraising strategy.

We are working with Pact, who are seeking an experienced Senior Manager (Major Gifts) with a proven track record of success to manage and grow their portfolio of major donors and legacies, to enable them to make a difference to the lives of those affected by criminal justice.
Pact is a successful national charity that provides life changing and lifesaving care for men, women and young people in custody, those with criminal convictions in the community and their children, family members and carers.
In this newly created role, the Senior Manager (Major Gifts) will provide strong stewardship of existing relationships of mid value and major donors, support and cultivate interest in Pact’s programmes and unrestricted giving and take responsibility for identifying and developing new major gifts from individuals and family trusts. In addition, you will strengthen and develop the legacy strategy and offer to existing and new individual supporter.
This is a senior, strategic role within Pact and you will have
- A proven track record and specialism in either legacy or major donor giving, and the autonomy to raise funds from individuals, including HNWIs and to lead on this area within a charity.
- Experience of researching and cultivating individuals including HNWIs and family trusts to secure financial support.
- Strong interpersonal skills, talented at building relationships and trust, and able to inspire long term commitment.
