The Role:

As a proactive and innovative Project Manager for Professional Development, you will support our CPD team. This new role is pivotal in ensuring effective systems management and record keeping, stakeholder engagement and relationships across various educational projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the management of a large, growing and innovative Schools CPD programme, in person and online
• Manage administrative tasks including documentation, scheduling, and reporting for CPD programmes
• Using tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office suite, MailChimp and WordPress to create and disseminate high-quality educational resources and communications in line with HEP brand guidelines
• Produce content to market and sell our professional development programme to schools in and beyond our membership
• Support all customers, members and non-members, to access the HEP offer
• Develop and nurture strong stakeholder relationships with schools, educators, CPD trainers, local authorities and other partners
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational innovation, policies, regulations and political landscape affecting schools and the education sector to inform the next steps for CPD

Qualifications and skills:

• Educated to at least degree level(or equivalent experience)

About us

The Sir Martin Gilbert Learning Centre is an educational charity whose mission is to educate young people about who Jews are and the contributions they have made to society. The role

This is far more than a management job. As our first School Partnerships Manager, you'll lead our outreach to schools and play a central role in shaping how the Centre develops and grows. Working closely with the Director, you'll drive the number of schools accessing our programmes, deepen relationships with existing partners, and help design our Focus School programme from the ground up.

Bookings Team Executive

Role Summary

The main function of the bookings team is to provide high quality customer service for the Into Film Festival. Initially this will be receiving calls, processing bookings and liaising with educators on email and on the phone. There will then be a need to make outbound calls to drive bookings, speak to attending teachers and liaise with cinemas to ensure the festival runs smoothly. This is an exciting, front-line, varied role requiring high level communication skills and a solution-focused attitude. It is an opportunity to develop customer service and CRM/Salesforce skills and work for the world’s largest film festival for young people.

Main Responsibilities:

• To be the first point of contact for public festival enquiries; answering calls and emails, processing bookings and problem-solving. 
• Proactively reaching out over email and phone to reach new educators/bookers and aiming to sign them up to the festival. 
• Liaising with the festival team to ensure all enquiries and issues are resolved. 
• Checking, updating and uploading bookings info onto our festival website (via Aerian)
• Updating the daily incident log (via Excel) - this is used for tracking all enquiries/issues from cinemas. 
• Liaising with exhibitors as and when required and as directed.
• General support in relation to all aspects concerning the festival.

Role Summary

The main function of the Customer Support Engineer (“CSE”) role is to ensure those who choose Into Film receive the most positive support possible from the organisation. So, the CSE will play a key role in our product strategy, demonstrating our commitment to high retention of account holders.

The role exists as the front line of customer technical support for users of Into Film’s online offer, including the educator, club member, and online learning websites.

The CSE supports organisations, film clubs, educators, young people, and other account holders on their journey from recruitment to brand advocate. The CSE also plays a key role in monitoring issues and account activity, analysing these to inform new features and opportunities for the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service and manage support queries from users of our products and services, including cases from info@ and support@ email inboxes, phone calls, live chat, etc., via Salesforce, our Customer Relationship Management system (“CRM”)
• Troubleshoot and where necessary escalate technical issues to the Customer Support Engineer Coordinator and/or digital team via JIRA ticketing application
• Participate in rota for answering the main Into Film phone line
• Ensure that support documentation, including user-facing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), Knowledgebase (KB), and other website pages, are updated and developed to include the latest solutions for issues encountered by our users
• Assist with detailed reports on customer service issues utilising the CRM, including issue type and frequency
• Assist with creation and distribution of support-focused surveys of our users
• Assist with onboarding and provide escalation support should demand require outsourcing to service vendors or contractors

The Role

• Provide practical, emotional and educational support to expectant parents
• Help parents prepare for birth, baby care and the transition to parenthood
• Support early attachment, bonding, infant development and parental confidence

About You

We are looking for someone who understands pregnancy, birth preparation, early parenthood and the emotional realities of becoming a parent.

You may have worked as a midwife, maternity support worker, antenatal educator, early year’s practitioner, family support worker, health-related practitioner, or in another relevant role supporting families during pregnancy and the early years.

You will bring:

• Experience or strong knowledge of antenatal support, pregnancy and early parenthood
• Confidence delivering group sessions or antenatal education
• Good understanding of early attachment, infant development and postnatal adjustment
• Awareness of perinatal mental health and the impact of trauma, stress and isolation
• Experience supporting families during pregnancy, birth preparation or early parenthood
• Experience delivering group-based support, education or facilitation
• Good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries

This is a non-clinical family support role. You will not provide medical advice, diagnosis, clinical maternity care or infant feeding clinical support. We are recruiting an Education Programme Manager who will support the development and delivery of education materials and teacher training content at The Politics Project.

About The Politics Project

The Politics Project supports young people to use their voice by giving them access to brilliant democratic education. They work with young people, teachers, youth practitioners and politicians to help them learn about, teach and actively participate in democracy. The Politics Project works across the UK with over 3,000 schools and youth groups and 400 politicians, reaching 95% of UK parliamentary constituencies.

The Politics Project also leads the Democracy Classroom Network, a network of over 100 organisations across the democracy, education and youth sectors which support over 3,500 teachers and youth practitioners to engage young people in democracy.The Network's website is a one-stop shop resources bank of educational materials on politics and democracy.

About the role

Working with the Head of Education and Content, the Programme Manager will support teachers and practitioners to engage their students in elections and democratic education, helping schools and colleges get ready for the lowering of the voting age to 16. 

The post holder will support the design and adaptation of resources, practitioner training, events and activities as well as manage relationships with the schools and colleges.

This is a fast-paced role in a friendly, supportive and growing team. The role has a six-month probation period. The hours of work are 37.5 hrs per week.

The Politics Project is based in London, and the post holder will be expected to work from the office at least one day a month. The role may require occasional UK travel and some evening/weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given. 

Key responsibilities

Working with the Director and the Head of Education and Content, the post holder will:

• Support the collation, sourcing and design of learning resources for school and college teachers to use to support their students to engage in elections and democracy.

The Role

This varied and exciting role combines event coordination, stakeholder communications, and programme promotion.

You will support the planning and delivery of events, workshops, careers activities, and employer engagement opportunities across the region. From coordinating event logistics and participant communications to producing newsletters, case studies, and social media content, you will help ensure that all stakeholders have a positive and engaging experience of the programme.

Democracy Classroom is a growing, non-partisan partnership of more than 100 civil society organisations committed to strengthening democratic engagement among young people across the UK.

The network is supported by the Democracy Classroom Platform, an online hub featuring hundreds of free resources for teachers and youth practitioners. Democracy Classroom reaches educators in 95% of UK parliamentary constituencies and plays a leading role in shaping the sector’s voice - coordinating joint submissions to government consultations and producing shared visions such as The Roadmap to Votes at 16.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Partnerships and Advocacy Manager to strengthen The Politics Project’s influencing and partnerships work, with a focus on Democracy Classroom - a non-partisan network of organisations across the youth, education and democracy sectors. You’ll lead the implementation of the new Democracy Classroom strategy, and grow the network’s impact and reach in the build up to the next general election and the implementation of votes at 16.

You will play a central role in expanding and activating the network - supporting over 100 partner organisations to collaborate effectively, share learning, build trust and increase their collective impact. You will be a key player in keeping the sector informed, connected and ready to respond to key moments in democratic engagement, from elections to policy changes.

You will take on a highly relational role, working closely with the team to manage and nurture a complex network blending multiple sectors. You will collaborate with the Director to manage shared relationships across the Democracy Classroom network, building more ownership over time. You’ll help position Democracy Classroom as an important conduit between the sector and major stakeholders like government departments and funders.

This is a dynamic, outward-facing role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on coordination. You’ll work closely with the Head of Communications and Networks, the Democracy Classroom Programme Coordinator and colleagues across The Politics Project to make sure partners feel supported, valued and part of a shared mission.

The Politics Project is based in London, and the post holder will be expected to work from the office at least two days a week. The role may require occasional UK travel and some evening/weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given. The role has a six-month probation period. Key responsibilities

Partnership management

• Build, nurture and deepen relationships with more than 100 civil society partners, helping each partner see themselves as part of a growing and collaborative sector.

• Identify and recruit new organisations into Democracy Classroom, leading our onboarding process and helping new partners make the best of Democracy Classroom.

• Facilitate partner input into planning, shared problem-solving and decision-making.

• Build understanding of partners’ diverse needs and perspectives, supporting and balancing between these with sensitivity.

Advocacy and influencing

• Spot and act on emerging opportunities for collaboration, policy influence and joint sector action.

• Work with government departments such as DfE, DCMS, and MHCLG on the implementation plan for Votes at 16, translating sector expertise and experience.

• Manage relationships with academics and engage confidently with research to be an effective advocate for democratic education.

• Organise and facilitate events and advocacy opportunities such as advocacy panels, funder roundtables.

• Draft reports, submit evidence to the government, and feed into policy consultations.

• Jump on quick opportunities for the network, bringing people together and turning things around fast (e.g., presenting sector needs to funders or submitting evidence to Government).

Engagement and representation

• Plan and deliver Democracy Classroom meetings, training and networking events.

• Represent The Politics Project and Democracy Classroom externally as a confident ambassador for our collaborative, non-partisan approach.

• Develop and deliver partner communications to ensure consistent, clear and timely updates.

• Act as the main point of contact for Democracy Classroom partner queries, support and collaboration.

Monitoring and reporting

• Track partner engagement and feedback to support continuous improvement.

• Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and reporting to demonstrate the network’s impact.

• Work with The Politics Project team to most effectively document partner activity.

• Knowledge of, and interest in, UK politics and democratic engagement.

• Self-motivated, resilient and solutions-focused.

• Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends and travel within the UK.

Desirable

• IT literacy, including strong use of Google Workspace.
