Pattern Church was launched in December 2018 by the Diocese of Bristol as a Revitalisation Trust Resource Church with a vision of inviting people into family to serve Swindon. Since then, the church has grown rapidly, planted two new churches (The Well and The Light Church), and become a hub of mission and community life across the town.

The Director of Operations is part of the leadership of the church, providing the organisational, financial, and strategic backbone that enables mission and ministry to flourish. They will work closely with the Senior Leader, Trustees, and wider staff team to turn strategic vision into practical reality, ensuring strong governance, robust systems, sound stewardship, and an effective, faith-filled culture across all areas of church life.

This role will also oversee any employment disagreements with the aim of offering reconciliatory practices. You must have good knowledge and experience of complaint handling (that’s a given), but you’ll also need to possess resilience in dealing with individuals who need support and have the ability to empathise with all involved in these processes, remain calm under pressure and be able to handle difficult and sensitive situations. In this role, you will create high-quality media, digital learning resources, and engaging content that tells stories of hope, transformation, and discipleship, while helping our pioneering approach reach more people.

The Role

As our Media Pioneer, you will:

• Create high-quality digital content – videos, photography, graphics, online courses, and training modules.

• Write and tell stories of transformation and community life in an accessible and engaging way.

• Apply Springfield’s and the Project’s visual identity consistently across media outputs.

• Support pioneering ministries by working closely with our Pioneer Project Directors and wider team.

• Develop replicable resources for partner estate churches to use in training and digital learning.

• Build and train volunteer teams to sustain creative storytelling across Springfield.

• Manage Springfield’s digital platforms – websites, social media, and media libraries.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

• Has excellent storytelling and media production skills (video, photography, graphic design, document layout).

• Can apply visual identities consistently across platforms.

• Is organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects.

• Has a pioneering spirit and a heart for sharing Jesus in creative, culturally relevant ways.

• Is a practising Christian, ideally interested in joining Springfield’s community if possible.

• Experience in estate contexts is desirable but not essential.

Key Details

• Part-time: 2.5 days / 17.5 hours per week

• Salary: £16,000 per annum (£32,000 pro rata)

• Contract: Fixed term, 24 months

• Holiday: 26 days per annum (pro rata) + 8 bank holidays

• 15% employers pension contribution, 1 retreat day per calendar year

Greenhouse Sports is pleased to be exclusively partnering with Robertson Bell in their search for a Management Accountant to join their close-knit, dynamic team on a permanent basis, in this newly created role following an exciting period of change. Their mission is to deliver intensive sports coaching and mentoring to help develop young people from disadvantaged communities.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Finance Team by preparing monthly management accounts with variance analysis, budget holder reports, and statutory accounts. They will also contribute to finance projects, including the development of new budget holder reporting and process improvements.

The key duties of the Management Accountant will be as follows:

• Complete the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Play a key role in the production of the statutory accounts including notes and reconciliations.
• Own the preparation of the newly created budget holder reports ensuring that reporting is complete and accurate.
• Monitor actual spending vs budget by providing a variance analysis for monthly budget holder reports.
• Extract relevant data from Xledger and prepare reporting for internal stakeholders.
• Work with a continuous improvement mindset to identify efficiencies in existing processes.
• Support other members of the finance team when required to complete tasks.

The successful candidate will have:

• A recognised professional qualification or be part qualified studying towards becoming qualified.
• Demonstrable experience of having worked in a management accounts capacity.
• Ideally, working knowledge of Charity SORP, but candidates without this are strongly encouraged to apply.
• The ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• An enthusiastic and confident personality, with a key eye for detail.
