Are you passionate about working for a small & personal charity who make a real difference?

Are you a strong collaborator with a track record of building successful partnerships, internally and externally?

The Injured Jockeys Fund was the brainchild of founding Trustee and past President John Oaksey and came about following the devastating accidents of Tim Brookshaw and Paddy Farrell in 1964. Since being established the fund has helped over 1000 jockeys and their families with charitable assistance.

Our mission is to provide appropriate support, in a prompt and sympathetic manner to jockeys past or present who are injured or in need. The fund has grown organically, the last few years in particular, which has enabled us to widen the support we are able to offer to our beneficiaries.  Despite our growth we are still a relatively small charity and hugely proud of the fact it is still very personal.
