Are you a driven, collaborative and compassionate individual with a proven record of working with male adults in the criminal justice system, whether in the community or in prisons? Do you have experience of engaging successfully with challenging people, for example people who have complex needs, people who are reluctant to discuss their needs, or people who are angry and confused?
If so, St Giles Trust is looking for a Personal Wellbeing Navigator to oversee the delivery of Personal Wellbeing services to referrals of community offenders and prison leavers, including families, made by the Probation Service in North Yorkshire.

About this key role
You will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. This will involve undertaking assessment and action planning with individual service users which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved, and creating a safe and trusting environment, using trauma informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users. You will deliver a range of interventions to service users, including group work sessions where required, and work with service users flexibly, meeting and undertaking interventions in a range of prescribed locations across a wide geographical area.
We will also rely on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies including Probation, Prisons and partners, and work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales and in line with specified quality standards. Using agreed CRM databases, recording all activity relating to caseload and ensuring all information is recorded within agreed deadlines are all also vital aspects of the role.
What we are looking for
- Experience of working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
- Knowledge of the requirements of managing a caseload, including maintain and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals and keeping to deadlines
- An understanding of the barriers faced by people with complex and multiple needs
- The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
- Impressive interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, verbal and written
- A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work.
Please note this role requires an Enhanced Adults DBS check.

About the role
The Senior Research and Evaluation Adviser will work to position King’s College London as a sector leader on conducting institutional evaluation and research to understand how we can support students from underrepresented groups to access university and succeed at university. Our team generates causal evidence either through Randomised Controlled Trials or Quasi-experimental designs, as well as correlational and qualitative evidence.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to work in research and evaluation in an applied context, and who wish to use their skills and expertise in quantitative and qualitative methods. This is an opportunity to grow your skills in generating and applying evidence to practice.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead on a range of research & evaluation activities, including synthesis of secondary research; conducting qualitative, quantitative and/or survey designs; developing and delivering randomised controlled trials (and other experimental trials as appropriate)
- Convey research findings, including complex quantitative information, in a clear and actionable way
- Develop and maintain expertise in research and evaluation methodologies
- Work with academics and practitioners to test and trial new approaches to widening participation and student success

Skills & Experience
- Ability to select appropriate research designs and use qualitative and quantitative methods, including surveying, interviewing and running focus groups
- Ability to establish causal inference using experimental methods (e.g quasi-experimental methods, randomised controlled trials)
- Confident in conducting data analysis and statistical testing using relevant software (such as Power BI, R, Stata or SPSS) and presenting findings in various formats
- Ability to manage multiple research projects and deliver work to deadline
- Confident and clear written and verbal communication, including report-writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work with others to deliver project aims and overcome challenges
- Ability to coach or train others on how to undertake specific tasks and give clear direction on desired outcomes
- Ability to decide own pattern of work and manage workload and resources over a long period
Desirable criteria
Qualifications & Training
- Postgraduate degree or qualification in research methods, statistics, analytics or a related field and/or relevant experience.

Jigsaw4u’s Piece of Mind Service helps 11 to 25 year-old young people in SW London overcome depression and/or anxiety. We are seeking 1 full-time counsellor, or 2 part-time counsellors, to support 15 referrals over 3 months, in the London Boroughs of Kingston and Richmond.
There is the potential for this fixed-term contract to become permanent.
Each young person receives 6 to 16 targeted, evidence based therapeutic support sessions. Support sessions will be delivered at our Kingston-Upon Thames hub, at school, home or in the community where appropriate. The counsellor will liaise with parents/carers, and referrers and partner agencies as appropriate. They will evaluate the interventions through use of Outcomes Star and other agreed measurement tool.

The Survivor Engagement and Activism Coordinator leads the Helen Bamber Foundation’s work to ensure that survivors of trafficking, torture, and human rights abuses are meaningfully involved in shaping services, influencing policy, and driving social change. Working within the Community and Integration team, the post holder safeguards and supports clients as they participate in advocacy, leadership, and organisational development projects.
They oversee key survivor engagement programmes, including the Ambassadors for Change advocacy and leadership programme, the Client Voices Forum, the Board Advisers, and the Alumni Network. This involves coordinating training, facilitating meetings, supporting campaigns, managing administrative processes, and ensuring survivors are prepared, empowered, and safe throughout their involvement.
The role also involves developing innovative ways for survivors to collaborate with staff, contributing to service design, organisational strategy, and sector-wide initiatives. The post holder builds relationships across the asylum and modern slavery sectors, manages lived experience opportunities, and may support client progression and education casework when needed.
Throughout all responsibilities, the Coordinator champions survivor leadership, promotes diversity and inclusion, maintains the ethos of the charity, and practices strong self-care while working with traumatic material.
