Community Fundraiser - Home Counties

As a key part of our fundraising efforts in our high-performing East region, you will have the opportunity to drive income generation through a variety of initiatives, including challenge events, fundraising groups, and corporate partnerships such as charity of the year. Job Summary
Advance delivers nationally accredited, high quality domestic abuse services across London. Advance's domestic abuse services are community based and include local authority commissioned advocacy services, co-located projects in a range of settings such as housing and children’s social care, and specialist projects for victim/survivors with different intersecting needs including children and young people.
As a Peripatetic Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA), you will provide front line support across Advance’s domestic abuse services, covering vacancies across teams to ensure service delivery remains effective and consistent. You will cover a range of roles all involving advocacy and support of people experiencing domestic abuse; some roles may also involve co-locating with partner agencies, delivering training or undertaking triage and assessment work. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and experience in a range of settings and would suit someone who is passionate about advocating for victim/survivors of domestic abuse. You will have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse in various areas of need, with particular knowledge of safeguarding and legislation. As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence, of supporting women with child safeguarding, needs, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

About this key role
As our A&E Hospital Intervention Caseworker, you will be embedded in Coventry Hospital’s emergency department where you will assess referred clients and produce support and risk management plans based on your assessments. You will promote inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process, and including appropriate agencies in the delivery of the service. You will also develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies, including hospital, police, local authorities and other voluntary organisations, and liaise closely with other St Giles teams with reference to referrals, avoiding duplication.
We will count on you to deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, where you will provide a practical service that will include social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, ETE options, benefits work and debt advice. Closing cases efficiently and positively, identifying a referral route for the client that will identify agencies that can be used for on-going support, and promoting the value of lifestyle changes to the client group are also essential duties.
What we are looking for
- Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with vulnerable young people and/or families
- Substantial experience of providing support, advice and advocacy and communicating effectively the needs of clients to other professionals
- Substantial experience of assessing the needs of young people at risk of significant harm
- Experience of using support plans, to enable people to successfully access support services
- Substantial experience of engaging successfully with ‘challenging’ young people
- To have a relevant qualification to a good standard or be working towards one

Sophie Hayes Foundation (SHF) is a small but mighty charity, empowering women survivors of
modern slavery and exploitation. It is an important time at SHF. Our new strategy ‘Sustainable
Freedom from Modern Slavery’ launched in 2024 and this role is essential for the delivery of the
strategy and ensuring that survivors of modern slavery, human trafficking, and exploitation have
access to the support and opportunities they need to achieve their aspirations, independence

At the heart of Sophie Hayes Foundation’s work will be the support to and empowerment of
survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking and this role is critical to survivors’ journeys
to sustainable freedom.
Alongside a small, friendly and dedicated team, you will coordinate and deliver our
programmes for survivors of modern slavery, including our flagship Employability Programme
(EP) and our Conversational English for Independence (CEFI) course.
You will also work in close partnership of the development and delivery of new programmes for
survivors, embodying our strategic aim of ‘meeting survivors where they are and taking them to
where they want to be’. You will champion the voices of survivors through the work of the
organisation, working with colleagues in CREW to provide continued support to survivors’ long
term.
About the Role
- Deliver Sophie Hayes Foundations Employability Programme and Conversational English for Independence Course to survivors.
- Support development and growth of these and other future programmes.
- Take responsibility for all programme logistics and communications with partners, survivors, and suppliers.
- Accurate data input to and management of internal monitoring and finance systems, working closely with the Head of Programmes to analyse trends and contribute to reporting.
- Actively engage with local, regional, and national partners and anti-slavery networks
- To maintain effective survivor referral pathways and raise awareness of the Foundation’s work.
- Supervise and manage Employability Programme volunteers.

The Legacy Executive plays pivotal role in delivering exceptional fundraising services for our client Royal Trinity Hospice. You will be responsible for delivering excellent stewardship and supporter care – both of which are essential to achieving Trinity’s (and Compton’s) fundraising objectives.
You will inspire and support individuals in engaging with Legacy Giving, developing relationships that encourage a gift in their Will to Trinity. You will support in the development and management of legacy focused campaigns and products as well as exploring new opportunities for income growth.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Support the Head of Legacy Giving to identify, develop and maximise fundraising (and income) opportunities through fundraising products and events, and developing supporter relationships.
- Provide first class stewardship and donor care, ensuring donors and supporters feel supported and appropriately thanked.

As an Admiral Nurse, your role will be pivotal in providing expert nursing support to carers, helping them navigate the complexities of dementia care. You will offer emotional and psychological interventions to alleviate the challenges of caregiving, especially at the early stages of diagnosis or pre-diagnosis, and continue supporting carers through the various stages of dementia, focusing on transitions, loss, and shifting relationships.
In this role, you will manage a caseload of clients, conducting home visits to assess their needs and wellbeing, and develop individual intervention plans. You will empower carers by helping them build the skills and confidence needed to support someone with dementia, especially as behaviours change over time. Your work will ensure they can provide better care while also protecting their own mental and emotional health.
Beyond direct care, you will contribute to the continuous development of the service, assisting with the evaluation and improvement of dementia care practices. You will offer clinical guidance to colleagues and external agencies, providing training and educational resources to enhance the quality of care across the board.

Jigsaw4u’s Piece of Mind Service helps 11 to 25 year-old young people in SW London overcome depression and/or anxiety. We are seeking 1 full-time counsellor, or 2 part-time counsellors, to support 15 referrals over 3 months, in the London Boroughs of Kingston and Richmond.
There is the potential for this fixed-term contract to become permanent.
Each young person receives 6 to 16 targeted, evidence based therapeutic support sessions.
