The successful candidate will have

Your key responsibilities include:

- Manage the development and delivery of their fundraising events.
- Work with colleagues to ensure required PR and communications activities concerning major donors funding are developed and delivered.
Programme support and administration
- Take responsibility for the high-value donor and corporate fundraising budgets and contribute to target setting, monitoring, and analysis of the programme.

Your knowledge:

About the role

Role Requirements
You will attend the Audit & Risk Committee and other board committees from time to time to present on risk and assurance. With experience of delivering 2nd line risk and assurance activities within large, complex or heavily regulated organisation, you will be effective in building professional relationships and influencing and collaborating with colleagues from all disciplines and at all levels.
You will need to engage effectively with frontline and support colleagues to really understand the needs of our beneficiaries and the risks to the charity more broadly. The ultimate objective of risk management at The Children’s Trust is to ensure the charity continues to deliver high-quality, safe and effective and financially sustainable services for vulnerable children now and in the longer-term.
Although the role does not have any formal direct reports, the Risk & Assurance Analyst will have a dotted line into the Risk & Assurance Manager, providing support particularly on business continuity but also on risk management as and when necessary.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

We are looking for a Charity Shop Manager to cover shifts in both of the Harington Charity Shops in North London. The Charity Shop Manager (Cover) role, will be guaranteed 8.5 hours a week in our Hornsey charity shop. Purpose of job: To work as a key part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, line managed by the Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, and accountable to the Museum’s Director. This role will bring in vital income from trusts, foundations, corporate partners and individuals to deliver the business plan. This role has responsibility for achieving income targets by collaborating across all departments to understand and translate fundable and core activities into compelling cases for support.
Working pattern: 35 hours per week, usually worked from 10 – 6pm. Flexible/hybrid working offered for up 40% of hours to be worked from home.

Who we are looking for:

Key objectives in first 6 months:

Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Identification, Communication and Cultivation
- Identify, research and develop a pipeline of trusts and foundations prospects, ensuring that relationships are well managed and planned for first, second and third requests for funding, as appropriate.

The Philanthropy & Partnerships team
In Autumn 2023, Foundling Museum delivered a successful, ambitious capital campaign to secure the future of the Museum through a variety of supporters, from individuals, major supporters and trusts/foundations.
The Philanthropy team is responsible for the funding revenue needs of the Museum, which for 2024-25 is c£800,000, making up approximately 36% of total income.
The post of Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager will deliver against personal targets toward this goal. Remaining income includes Arts Council England National Portfolio funding, NLHF funding, core earned income (admissions) and trading activities (retail and venue hire).
The Philanthropy and Partnerships team collaborates closely with the Director, Chair of Trustees and Development Consultants and across all departments to understand and translate fundable and core activities into compelling cases for support. Across a year the team raises vital income for exhibitions, learning and participation activities, events, capital projects, an established endowment fund and unrestricted revenue income.

We have an exciting new opportunity available for an experienced and talented bid and tender professional to join us as our Bid and Tender Manager. Your primary aim will be to successfully retain and grow our contracted income to deliver our dementia support services.
You will lead and support a national team, responsible for developing and delivering the Society’s bid and tenders. You’ll be a talented individual with a strong desire to lead this team in creating high quality bids to secure contracts for Alzheimer's Society.
You will have prior bid experience – preparing, writing, managing, and winning multiple bids annually. You’ll be experienced in building and coordinating multiple internal relationships and be able to demonstrate an ability develop external partnerships. You will inspire people from a range of teams to work towards one shared goal.
Additionally, you will take the lead as the Society’s bid expert, providing guidance and making time-pressured decisions with key stakeholder to ensure the effective and compliant preparation of tenders.

About you
- Extensive experience in Bid and Tender production – planning, writing, managing (essential)
- Able to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment which can include challenging deadlines.
- Your writing experience and skills will ensure effective quality assurance in the preparation/submission of tenders.
- Demonstrate your commercial judgment skills, using your knowledge and understanding of the marketplace.
- Confident in making executive decisions on projects and delegated tasks to support senior managers.
- Experience in managing budgets.
