This role provides the main Finance point of contact across relevant teams and senior stakeholders and is expected to support various teams and cost centers, including the Partnerships and Philanthropy teams that generate a significant portion of UNICEF UK’s income in addition to the Advocacy, Programme and Safeguarding teams that are integral to UNICEF UK’s strategic goals.
Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will work directly with budget holders in your dedicated teams, supporting financial planning and performance reporting with analysis, insight and constructive challenge to support decision making and strategic financial planning, driving positive outcomes for UNICEF UK. Allocation of teams to this role may change in the future, influenced by the organisation’s evolving needs and the outcomes of the upcoming 2027-2029 strategic planning exercise.
This role requires that you come from a finance business partnering or FP&A background with extensive relationship-building across income-generating stakeholders, with a track record in driving strategic financial decisions and performance monitoring in income-generating teams such as fundraising teams through profit/efficiency measures and effective financial planning covering budgeting and reforecasting. The role requires strong analytical and influencing skills and the capability to balance a strategic and ‘big picture’ mindset with strong attention to detail. About the role

Fair4All Finance is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2019 to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services. Millions of people are unable to access the mainstream products and services that meet their financial needs and have to choose between going without essentials or turning to high-cost credit or illegal money lenders. Without safety nets like credit, insurance or savings, everyday life events or financial shocks can tip people into increasingly vulnerable circumstances.
One of Fair4All Finance’s key strategic priorities, and a focus of the Innovation and Development team, is to transform the market, to test and deliver the right products to all customers who need them including dramatically improving access to credit, insurance and resilience products by attracting new entrants, scaling existing providers and supporting mainstream providers to diversify their offerings.
A key part of our strategy is to test and scale product propositions, working in partnership with providers, and, where successful, to scale these propositions up for long term success. We do this by codesigning propositions that work for the customer, commercial arrangements that work for the provider, societal outcomes that deliver for the funders and stakeholders.
The Associate Director – Commercial will lead on the commercial lifecycle of proposition tests, meeting potential partners and developing a pipeline of opportunities through to procurement (where appropriate) or running a transparent competition via a subsidy scheme, bid assessment, contract negotiation with significant providers of lending, insurance and savings products. You will work with those providers to oversee the successful setup and delivery including building in how we measure the success of the pilot or proposition and evaluate the impact.
Also key to the role is liaising with the Head of Proposition, Design and Development to design end to end products that meet the needs of people in financially vulnerable circumstances. Strong collaboration with other members of the team is also essential to build the evidence base (economic, value for money and societal impact) which you will then build into business cases for long term funding for these propositions, or alternative financial support. Purpose of the role
The Finance (FM) contributes to ENN’s vision through strategic management and governance of its financial resources and budgets.
The Finance Manager is responsible for finance strategy, planning and oversight, reporting, regulatory compliance and aligning finance strategies with organisational goals and operations. The FM is a member of the management team, provides key insights to support business decisions, liaises with the board of trustees and holds the position of Company Secretary.
Responsibilities
· Develop ENN’s finance strategy in support of the delivery of its 5 year strategic goals.
· Proactively enhance ENN’s financial systems to manage and oversee project budgets, forecast trends, identify opportunities, and analyse organizational performance through data-driven decision making
· Strategic Support – Provide management information and financial insights to the management team and trustees including identification and mitigation of strategic and operational financial risks.

The Role: Finance Manager
As Finance Manager, you will be at the heart of Reading Students’ Union’s Finance team, providing senior operational leadership and expert financial support to ensure the Union operates efficiently, transparently, and in line with its charitable purpose, values, and legal obligations.

About the role
At the Motability Foundation, we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose.
We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that can work flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. This includes a growing portfolio of projects tackling key challenges like inclusive EV charging, complex community transport funding opportunities, and large-scale research such as the National Centre for Accessible Transport.
We are now recruiting four Transport Solutions Managers to help design and deliver high-impact work across this portfolio. These are pivotal roles that combine subject expertise, delivery capability, and leadership and are designed to work flexibly across our matrix structure.
Some roles will focus more on funding: exploring new funding mechanisms and managing end-to-end development and delivery of funding opportunities and a team of grant managers. Others will focus more on direct delivery: leading projects, partnerships or research commissions. But all Transport Solutions Managers will be encouraged to develop and contribute across both areas.

What you’ll be doing
Lead the design and delivery of impactful projects or funding opportunities, working closely with Programme Directors and colleagues across the Transport Solutions Team.
Manage end-to-end delivery of specific initiatives – this could include grants, pilots, commissioned projects, partnerships or other tools – ensuring they are well scoped and aligned to our strategic priorities.
Use insight, evidence, and stakeholder engagement to shape the approach to new work, including scoping documents, funding criteria, business cases, and delivery plans.
Work flexibly across our matrix team, contributing to projects or funding rounds outside your own portfolio as needed, and supporting colleagues with specialist input or delivery resource.
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including charities, researchers, delivery partners and commercial organisations.
Manage delivery, budgets, due diligence, risks and outcomes for projects or funding opportunities, ensuring appropriate governance and reporting is in place.

Your experience
Must haves:
Experience managing projects or funding opportunities from inception through to delivery, including planning, delivery, and monitoring, ideally across teams and with external partners or suppliers.
Ability to scope and deliver initiatives or funding opportunities using evidence, insight, and engagement with disabled people and other key stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, complex workstreams to deadlines in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
Strong data and analysis skills, including the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insight to inform decision-making and strategy.
High IT literacy, including confident use of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
A collaborative and flexible working style, with experience contributing to cross-team initiatives or matrix working.
Nice to haves:
Understanding of disability and transport issues, such as the social model of disability, transport barriers, key legislation etc.

The Finance Lead has a crucial role in assisting the Head of Finance with ensuring the effective running of the Finance department, taking responsibility for the management and oversight of the day to day operations of the Finance function of the Charity and its trading subsidiary.
To thrive in this position, you’ll need to take responsibility for the management and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the finance function of our charity and its trading subsidiary.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing the bank relationships including bank accounts and cash positions to ensure accuracy within the CRM and finance system.
• Managing the accounts receivable, accounts payable, procure to pay and general ledger functions of the charity in accordance with the chart of accounts to ensure the integrity of the management and statutory accounts.
• Working alongside the People and Culture Team and the charity’s external payroll provider to receive, reconcile and input the monthly payroll into the finance system.
• Maintaining the charity’s investment positions and accurately reflecting the current market values in the accounts.
• Assisting with the preparation of the quarterly management accounts as well as the preparation of the annual accounts for inclusion within the annual report ensuring they are compliant with the FRS 102 and the Charity SORP.
• Being a key representative during the annual financial audit process including the production of auditable working papers to ensure audit completion.
• Managing the day-to-day finance function of the charity’s trading arm, Red Balloon Trading, including assisting with the quarterly VAT return and the preparation of the annual accounts.
• Maintaining the integrity of the charity ledger, ensuring all transactions reflect a true and accurate position of the charity as well as maintaining the records for creation of new funds, customers and suppliers.
• Delivering line management of two Senior Finance Officers. Providing guidance with all day-to-day activities, being a role model and mentor to aid their personal and professional development.
• Liaising regularly with external bodies as well as maintaining strong relationships with all departments within the charity.
