Who we need?

You will be an excellent communicator, face to face, online, phone or email. You know the importance of listening, and you are the sort of person that brings focus and calm to difficult situations. Prioritising your workload is second nature. Perhaps most importantly of all, you’re energised and driven by a passion for learning and making life better for those with a long term and/or serious illness.

A degree is not essential, but a communication and fundraising skills qualification is desirable. It is important that you have a high standard of writing, and that you are on good terms with your computer, particularly MS office, email and maybe even Mailchimp, Zoom, Sage Accounting, Spreadsheets etc.

About the Role

Working alongside the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting the day to day running of the BDD Foundation while leading on key projects during this three month cover period. The primary focus of this role will be to oversee and manage the Overcoming BDD Programme (OBP), ensuring effective delivery, volunteer support and supervision, and a high quality, compassionate experience for all participants.

In addition to the Overcoming BDD Programme, you will provide project management support across other core initiatives, including the Schools Project, Conference planning, and any additional projects that form part of the charity’s priorities during this period. You will work collaboratively with the team to maintain operational efficiency, uphold the charity’s values, and contribute to activities that extend our impact and support the BDD community.

This role also involves HR responsibilities, including overseeing the full employee life cycle of staff and volunteers, reviewing and updating charity policies, and managing any people or volunteer related queries or concerns. Knowledge and understanding of HR processes is desirable, but not essential - this can be discussed at interview or offer stage should it not already be part of your skillset.

Clinical Services Coordinator (Mental Health Talking Therapies) - Maternity Cover Contract

Evolve Counselling is looking for an efficient, qualified and experienced mental health counselling manager, to take charge of our service while the postholder takes maternity leave in January 2026. • Fully remote, part-time hours between 16-21 hours per week.

• Highly flexible arrangement of core working hours across 4/5 days each week.

We work with private individuals and organisational/ corporate clients (via employee wellbeing programmes) mainly through remote video calls but with a good deal of face-to-face work. We have over 45 BACP registered counsellors on our team and our mission is to deliver the lowest cost counselling to those who need it most. As a charity, our surpluses are reinvested to deliver this mission. 

Our ideal candidate for this temporary cover is a BACP registered member counsellor, with strong managerial and administrative skills and experience, confident at handling the working needs of a large remote team and delivering a detailed and personal service to our larger contract clients as well as private individuals. You’ll be working alongside an ambitious management team, aiming to perfect and grow our services. Good record keeping, communications skills and familiarity with confidential client record management systems are a must. 

The key aspects of the CSC job are to: 

• Be the first port of call for all clinical queries. 

• Arrange the efficient use of our CRM system that supports the clinical service. 

• Take overall responsibility for incoming referrals and allocations as well as ongoing management of clients and maintenance of any waiting lists to agreed parameters. 

• Monitor the balance between counsellor capacity and client demand. 

• Provide practical support and signposting to the counselling members, enabling their work.

The Fundraising and Grants Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of WeProtect Global Alliance’s 2026–2029 Investment Strategy. Healthcare professionals play a pivotal role in the lives of people with MS. As the first point of contact, they are the primary source of trusted information and support. Given the lifelong nature of MS, these relationships can span decades, making it essential that we engage meaningfully with the healthcare community. By fostering strong partnerships, we can ensure that more professionals are equipped to share evidence-based lifestyle interventions and offer hope from the very beginning.

Why this role matters

Since 2012, Overcoming MS has been at the forefront of promoting an evidence-based approach to the self-management of MS using healthy lifestyle choices alongside medication. Although there is no cure for MS, we help people with MS to live well by making informed lifestyle choices.

Over the past 18 months, we have laid a strong foundation for this work:

· Identifying key barriers to supported self-management in MS.

· Co-developing educational resources to support healthcare professionals

· Piloting projects with healthcare professionals.

· Refining and presenting data to demonstrate the value of our approach.

· Lead the successful delivery of the Healthcare Engagement strategy, identifying and promoting engagement with our key audiences and stakeholders, in accordance with the NHS 10-year plan.

· Raise awareness with healthcare professionals of the importance of healthy lifestyle in managing MS symptoms and disease progression, resulting in expanded access to supported self-management for people with MS.

· Lead the development and delivery of strategic projects that engage healthcare professionals.

· Raise the profile and credibility of Overcoming MS, our information, events and courses, positioning us as the go-to charity for lifestyle and living well with MS.

· Increase the impact of our HCP education module, through our existing partnership with the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, marketing the education widely, evaluating its benefit to HCPs and strategically reviewing the format, vehicle and content as appropriate.

· Work closely with our internal Evidence Gathering Group, our Medical Advisor, and Information and Research Manager to facilitate the development of the relationship, profile and reach between the charity and the health and social care sectors.

· Develop a wide network of key healthcare professionals to inform our strategy, provide expertise, expert review of materials, and content (podcasts, webinars, blogs)

· Co-produce posters, abstracts and academic articles to present at key conferences.

Brain Tumour Research is seeking an experienced and motivated fundraiser to join our team. As a key part of our fundraising efforts in our high-performing East region, you will have the opportunity to drive income generation through a variety of initiatives, including challenge events, fundraising groups, and corporate partnerships such as charity of the year. You will also be responsible for driving initiatives to increase our profile and supporter base within Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Essex.

• ​Generate income across a range of community fundraising initiatives and events, with the opportunity to lead on key projects 
• Steward supporters to help drive the charity’s fundraising activities and growth

• Contribute towards the growth and success of fundraising efforts, ensuring a sustainable income stream for the vital ongoing funding of brain tumour research ​

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire supporters and partners alike ​

The Opportunity

Good Faith is seeking our first People & Culture Manager – a hands-on, strategic HR generalist who is excited to shape and scale a people-first culture in a growing, purpose-driven organisation.

You’ll play a pivotal role in building and embedding people practices that reflect our mission and values, ensuring Good Faith remains an exceptional place to work. As an advisor to the senior leadership team (SLT) and a key support to colleagues across the organisation, you'll be responsible for day-to-day HR operations as well as helping to shape longer-term people strategy.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Compliance

• Act as first point of contact for HR matters, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and best practice.

• Maintain and embed up-to-date HR policies and processes, delivering staff training where needed.

• Manage sensitive employee relations issues (e.g. grievances, disciplinary, absence management) with fairness and integrity.

Person Specification

HR Operations & Compliance

• 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, ideally within a small or purpose-led organisation.

• Demonstrated experience managing sensitive employee relations issues.

• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, HR policy development, and HR best practice.

• Demonstrable awareness of emerging trends in People and HR, including the opportunities and ethical considerations presented by AI and automation

• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above), or equivalent experience.

• Experience acting as a Safeguarding Lead, or working closely with a Designated Safeguarding Lead.

• Proven ability to design and deliver HR policy and compliance training.
   

Recruitment & Onboarding
