What you’ll do
You will join an innovative early intervention service delivered in partnership with the London Borough of Ealing. Working within the Ealing SAFE Evolve team, you will provide time-limited, evidence-based interventions to children and young people with moderate mental health needs, using approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed and mentalization models. You will deliver individual and group work with young people and parents/carers, joint work with professionals, and have supervisory responsibilities for Wellbeing Practitioners. You will also contribute to consultations and training for multi-agency professionals, supporting a collaborative approach to mental health in schools and the community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by addressing mental health needs and promoting resilience in diverse settings.
What you’ll bring
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled mental health professional with a strong foundation in therapeutic interventions and a commitment to supporting children, young people, and families within community-based or school settings.
Essential skills and experience:
- Recognised qualification and experience in a core profession (e.g., Clinical/Counselling Psychology, Family Therapy) and therapeutic work with children and adolescents.
- Experience in assessing and delivering interventions for children and young people in community or school settings, including those with SEND or care experience.
- Knowledge and application of trauma-informed and neurodiversity-informed approaches, alongside safeguarding and risk management expertise.
- Ability to provide consultation, training, and supervision to Wellbeing Practitioners and other professionals within multi-agency settings.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the capacity to manage workload, prioritise deadlines, and engage in reflective practice and supervision.
Key details
Hours: Part-time (28 hours per week): 4 days per week, including Wednesdays. Usual working hours are 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday. Flexible working is possible
Salary: £46,800 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.
Location: Greenford Service Centre (UB6 9LB) and occasionally at Anna Freud, 4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH. There will also be remote working.
Contract type: Fixed term, 12 months (maternity cover).

Location: This role is based based in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

Shift Pattern: This is a 25 hour per week role, worked Monday to Friday on a rota basis. You may be required to work outside these hours dependent on service and participant requirements.
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Peer Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will support in providing our residents with the support needed to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals in a person centred approach. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service. The role includes:
Some key responsibilities include:
- Supporting residents with daily tasks
- Placing residents needs at the centre of all support provided and using trauma informed practice to guide care and support.
- Drawing on your own lived experience (such as substance misuse, offending, homelessness, or other relevant experiences) to support and relate to residents with multiple and complex needs.
- Plan and deliver activities within the Complex Needs Hub working with the activities team, including monthly activities with risk assessments and adjustments for clients.
- Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to their needs
- Carry out regular welfare checks, safeguarding checks, and general living checks
- Encourage residents to take part in activities and events
- Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
- Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary

The Role
This role is about more than just driving it is about sharing FareShare Merseyside’s mission that” no good food should go to waste”.
As a collection & delivery driver for FareShare Merseyside you will deliver / collect food from our partners across the region. You will be the face of FareShare Merseyside, being a regular point of contact with our local and diverse range of member charities receiving food. In addition, you may also act as a host for volunteers who may join as van assistants.
Main areas of responsibility
As a van driver:
Before you leave the FareShare Merseyside warehouse:
- Load the van and check the van for roadworthiness
- Understand the schedule and route that has been planned and calculated for you
- Have a smart clean appearance, ready to meet our food partners and charities
- Support warehouse staff with any other duties required
On the road you will be representing FareShare Merseyside
- Drive safely, responsibly and within the law
- Be courteous to all road users
In the van you may be joined by volunteers wanting to support the FareShare Merseyside team to ensure no good food goes to waste.

At our food partners and charities:
- Greet the food partner or charity with a smile and get to know them by name

- Unload and clean the van ready for the next driver
- Report any incidents that may affect the vans roadworthiness

When you are not on the road:
- Get to know your team and respond to questions about FareShare’s mission, the food partners who support us, charities who receive food and the planned activities for the day
- Work as a team with the Warehouse Manager, warehouse colleagues and volunteers to ensure all shifts are well planned, supervised and meet daily operational needs
- Ensure compliance with all FareShare policies and procedures and industry standards as required by food partners and regulators and that all staff, volunteers, food suppliers, charities and visitors adhere to them
- Support the Warehouse Manager in managing the office, responding to emails and taking phone calls
- Support the Warehouse Manager in organising food distribution using the FareShare food management systems and training volunteers as required
- Maintain excellent relations and communications with volunteers, staff, food suppliers and charities
Like the supply of surplus food to FareShare no two shifts are the same. Every day new food arrives and your team will include new people who want to get involved in the FareShare mission. You will be part of a small staff team responsible for ensuring the safe and effective distribution of food each day.

A core position within the National Year of Reading Team, this is such an exciting role for someone whose skills include creativity, strategic planning and delivery, as well as high level relationship management ability.
Within your role you will build and deliver a range of public facing partnerships designed to bring the National Year of Reading to life within key audiences across the UK, driving both awareness and behaviour change. National Year of Reading, Brand and Media Partnerships Lead
Contract: one year fixed term contract from early 2026
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid role between home and London office, where you will be able to work regularly from home around the requirements of your role for in person meetings or travel. You will have significant contact with stakeholders which will require you to be in London regularly. This is likely to be at least weekly.

The Service Desk is embarking on an exciting time as we look to create lots of new processes, procedures and working practices. The Service Desk will become the Single Point of Contact for all IT related incidents and requests.
As Junior Service Desk Analyst, you will be part of a small and dedicated team triaging, logging, assigning, and resolving Incidents and Requests for our Charity staff and volunteers in both of our business and retail areas. You will also provide regular in-person support to colleagues based in our London office. Full training will be provided, and this opportunity provides a good platform for someone to commence a career in IT.
With strong attention to detail, you'll be tasked with administrative activities associated with the Service Desk - including reports, account management, moves, adds, deletes and changes. You'll also have accountability for ticket logging and allocation within the ITSM tool, setting an example on ticket quality.
This role offers hybrid working, where you'll spend 4 days a week on-site in our London office and 1 day working from home. Our London office is near Tower Hill (EC3N 2LB). The charity does not cover travel costs to the London office.
Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Our core hours are 08:00 until 19:00 with cover required on a rota basis.

Additional Information
As this role is focused on face to face customer support and the support of our London office meeting rooms, it means that you will need to be onsite 4 days of the week, 1 day can be worked from home.
The Service Desk Team's core hours are 8am to 7pm, and is managed on a rota based system.

This is an exciting role helping to bring one of our most successful innovations of recent years to the next level. You will take the lead on management of the Training Course programme from inception to completion, working within a friendly and dynamic events team. With help from our Training Course Committee and others you will secure a pipeline of repeat courses, lead the process of developing and commissioning new courses, work closely with convenors and trainers to bring courses to fruition, develop relationships with big customers and work with marketing colleagues to promote courses, organise the delivery of the courses and ensure customers are delighted with the outcome.

Founded in 1807, we are the oldest geological society in the world and a world-leading communicator of geoscience – through training, conferences, publishing, library and information services, education activities, and engaging the general public. We also provide impartial scientific information and evidence to support policy-making and public debate about the challenges facing humanity.
We have a membership of c. 12,000, more than 2,000 of whom are based outside the UK. Approximately 3,000 are Chartered Geologists or Chartered Scientists - professionals who have demonstrated a high level of technical competence in their field and a commitment to professional ethics.
Overview of Training Courses
In 2021, the Geological Society embarked on a journey by introducing its highly anticipated training courses, following a successful trial in 2020. Since then, these courses have become a cornerstone of knowledge dissemination within the geological community, covering a spectrum of topics, and have experienced a surge in participation. This widespread interest reflects the industry's recognition of the invaluable insights and skills that can be gained from these training programs taught by experts in the field.
Training courses have become a beacon of excellence within the geological community. Their success, marked by increasing participation and the positive impact on professional development, reaffirms the Society's dedication to advancing knowledge of geoscience and fostering a community of skilled and knowledgeable practitioners. They have also become an important part of our financial strategy; the continued growth of our training course income will help the Society continue to thrive.
Our training courses are mostly online and delivered by subject matter experts.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Take overall responsibility within the Events Team for our Training Courses programme, from promotion to delivery, and achieving our net income targets.
- Develop effective working relationships with society stakeholders, events team, Training Course Committee, Professional Committee, Chartership Officer and wider teams at the society including Publishing House to maximise opportunities for courses.
- Lead on Training Course Committee meetings creating agendas and keeping members regularly informed.
- Report on key areas in the Professional Committee meeting.
- Successfully meet annual sales target for Training courses providing regular feedback on performance to Head of Events and Training Course Committee.
- Work closely with our Marketing Executive to prepare detailed marketing plans and high-quality campaign content for promoting courses to delegates.
- Total end to end management of course speakers, ensuring these relationships are nurtured and all documentation is processed promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that all courses are accessible and organised to Society standards.
