The Transformation Hub Manager will play a pivotal role in reshaping our service offerings by creating a vibrant, inclusive, and strengths-based hub for our communities - many of who are underserved, including asylum seekers, refugees, residents facing isolation, and those affected by homelessness. About The Role  

The purpose of this role is to have overall responsibility for The Phoenix Way (TPW) Programme across the London, South and East regions and delegating day to day management South and East Regions to a dedicated Programme Manager. The role includes:

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our Development and Alumni Relations team to help guide and deliver ourregular giving and stewardship programmes. The ideal candidate will have experience of running successful major fundraising appeals to large audiences. They will have the ability to draft persuasive and accurate copy to support both fundraising and stewardship literature. They will be highly motivated and creative, driving new initiatives to boost participation, increase overall giving, while also increasing retention of donors through an outstanding, tailored stewardship programme. The Development and Alumni Relations Office leads the process of generating long-term and consistent voluntary income for Merchant Taylors’ School, and forrunning a comprehensive alumni and parental relations programme.

Hybrid Working and Flexibility: This role offers hybrid working, with the expectation to attend the office 1 - 2 days per week.

We are looking for a strategic, experienced, and passionate Learning & Engagement Manager to lead the Trust’s education, volunteering, and community work. This is a key leadership role, focused on ensuring our community and school engagement activities are inclusive, effective, and impactful – helping people connect with, care for, and champion their local rivers.

You will guide our approach to community engagement and education, shaping and delivering our Engagement Strategy while supporting the team through a period of consultation, pilots, and organisational change. The role includes leading the Working with Communities Team in the first year, with a shift towards broader strategic coordination as the team evolves. You’ll collaborate across the Trust to ensure engagement is embedded in our work on the ground and contributes meaningfully to our wider environmental goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of environmental engagement and a strong track record in delivering impactful outdoor education and community programmes, as well as oversea the successful development phase of our new National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Chalk Streams in the City.  This project will revitalise four urban chalk streams in London and has engaging local communities at its heart.  Newly developed educational programmes for schools, citizen science training and out reach events, will connect thousands of people with these rare natural treasures.

About you

For this role we are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in delivering volunteering and outdoor community engagement programmes.
• A people person who has experience in line managing, developing and supporting a team.
• Capable of fundraising and securing income to ensure longevity of delivering our programmes.
• Able to project manage, plan and evaluate, to deliver the best outcomes for the community, trust and team.
• Able to build relationships with all stakeholders to enable successful engagement and delivery of projects and programmes.

The Role
We're seeking a passionate and strategic Programme Manager to join our entrepreneurial team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, fluid environment and is excited about building programmes from the ground up and developing meaningful relationships with a growing network of partner schools as we scale our impact. This is a London-based role, primarily working at the charity’s headquarters in West London.

Role starts from September 2025. 

What You'll Own

• Building relationships with existing school partners and identifying and onboarding new school partners
• Designing and leading innovative volunteering programmes
• Monitoring and collating impact from the charity’s programmes and refining the charity’s impact data collection
• Managing programme/ event budgets

Key Responsibilities

Programme Delivery

• Promoting the charity’s work with new school and community partners and onboarding new schools
• Preparing proposals and designing and organising volunteering programmes with partner schools.
• Leading the programme delivery across a range of activities, including trips, clubs, giving back days and one-off events an projects
• Recording event data on the charity’s CRM
• Ensuring the safety and compliance of all TimeGivers’ activities including conducting risk assessments and  ensuring adequate staffing levels

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

• Compiling termly/ end of year school impact reports
• Collating impact from all school partners
• Liaising with external impact consultants as required, refining the charity’s metrics, impact data and collection

Finance and Fundraising

• Preparation and ownership of event/programme budgets
• Issuing donation requests and receipts to the charity’s partners.
• Recording and monitoring expenditure for all programme activities, liaising with the charity’s finance team when required
• Liaising with the Fundraising team and assisting with programme related grant applications

Job type: 12-month fixed term contract (MAT cover)

Location: Banbury, London, Cardiff, or Belfast – you will be contractually based in the office nearest to you with hybrid working.

The role

As our Strategic Engagement Manager (Fundraising) you will have a core focus to secure new and additional funding streams from Trusts, Foundations and Multi-laterals, you’ll have the ability to put your initiative, organisational skills, and aspirational mindset to the test. This will be a genuine opportunity to make a huge impact and work with considerable freedom to initiate, develop and execute fundraising plans, and collaborate extensively with colleagues, subject matter experts, and external partners. You will act as a broker of ideas, proposals, relationships, and opportunities that further the growth and income targets of WRAP or contribute more directly to the delivery of strategically desirable projects in the UK and internationally.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone with the capability to identify opportunities to grow revenue streams from Trusts, Foundations, and Multi-laterals, but also the strategic and commercial mindset to convert and maximise these. You’ll be an experienced fundraising professional from within the non-profit/charity sector, but a sustainability sector background is not as important as the qualities we’re keenly looking for, which include:

• Experience of working within a charitable fundraising environment, working with philanthropic trusts, foundations, multi-lateral organisations and other funders.
• Evidence of successfully identifying, researching, and approaching potential funders, delivering compelling pitches and proposals, and securing income.
• Effective and efficient communicator, with the ability to translate scientific information into engaging and impactful presentations.
• Collaborative and patient in building relationships and working with colleagues and partners to a specified outcome
•  Positive mindset and the ability to identify, generate and develop opportunities and lead programmes of work
