Role
In this exciting yet challenging role as Emotional Support Worker, you will provide valuable support to survivors of sexual abuse and their loved ones, through our helpline service. Last year, around 2,400 people contact us via this crucial service. Our helpline is a starting point for support, as men and boy’s take their first steps reaching out for help. We are also integral to the SurvivorsUK eco-system, providing support to client’s on our counselling waiting list and helping survivors navigate the different support options that are available.
We provide emotional support, information and signposting through a national helpline service, which is offered via Webchat, SMS, Email, and soon to be offered via WhatsApp and telephone. We are open from 10am to 8pm, 7 days per week.

The Opportunity:
This is where this new role comes in: The Head of Fundraising will play a crucial role in supporting the stewardship of the current donors while also securing the vital resources needed to realise our bold ambition and help us transform the lives of millions of young refugees and conflict affected youth across the globe.

Who we are looking for:

Essential experience:

What we offer:
This full time, fully remote position offers a salary of £50,000-55,000 if you are a UK resident. If you reside in a different location, the salary will be adjusted accordingly. Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic creative Content and Campaigns Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of our programme content across the globe. This role will work closely with the Global Programs Manager in the creation of key content and curriculums, strategising, delivering improvements, implementing campaigns and optimising processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Programme Development: To support the Global Programs Manager in ensuring the creation and execution of innovative programs that align with the charity's goals, for audiences both on-line and in-person.
• Content Planning: Use of various techniques to develop program plans e.g. storyboards etc.
• Content Creation: Write and edit engaging and concise short and long form copy for various content (e.g. workbooks, animations, scripts, training guides), working with creatives/stakeholders as necessary.
• Consistency: Maintaining a consistent style, quality, and tone of voice across all content.
• Implementation: Coordinate with various stakeholders in the delivery of programs, including addressing translation requirements and contextualising a particular region.
• Localisation: Ensuring content is culturally appropriate and effective.
• Evaluation: Monitor and analyse programme performance, collaborating with the Event Managers to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Content Distribution: Managing content distribution to ensure strong traction and engagement.
• Content Campaigns: Develop and manage comprehensive communication campaigns, including digital, social media, and email marketing as required.
• Process Optimisation: Streamline on-line and in-person programme processes related to program development and delivery.

We are recruiting for an experienced Area Manager to oversee 15 dedicated shop teams in the North West, North Wales and the Midlands.
In this role you will provide great leadership, inspiration and support to ensure the shop teams (paid colleagues and volunteers) are the very best they can be. You will develop your team to deliver commercial success and be passionate ambassadors for Scope within the local communities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Work closely with our communications coordinator, director of development and programme teams in the production and dissemination of donor-relevant reports, updates and other content; and contribute to the conception and organisation of donor-facing online and in-person events.

Person specification
Essential
-
You will have extensive experience managing a HNWI or major gift portfolio.

You will have a proven track-record of personally securing four, five, or six-figure donations from HNWI and/or major gift donors in the UK, US and/or Europe.

You will have experience working within a nonprofit focused on human rights, social justice, and/or environmental action.

You will have excellent verbal communication skills, including English language skills, both spoken and written.

You will have experience working with senior stakeholders and board members to support fundraising activities.

You will have an ability to work both strategically and operationally.

You will have creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
Desirable

You may have experience working within a global nonprofit.

You may have knowledge of the human rights, social justice, environmental justice, and/or international development funding landscape.

Terms and remuneration
This is a remote, home-working role. You will be contracted for 40 hours a week on a full-time, fixed-term contract. Flexible working is available and encouraged.
We are looking for someone who wants to embrace this pivotal role within our close-knit team and develop a long-term working relationship with us. You will be properly onboarded and continually supported by experienced and compassionate managers and colleagues. Your line manager will be our director of development, Vicky Nida.

If you are based outside the United Kingdom, you will be offered comparable compensation through our local employer of record, Remote. For parity, we contribute 4% above the local statutory requirements into the personal pension plans of staff members employed outside the UK. We will contribute 7% into the personal pension plans of staff members employed in counties where there is no local statutory provision.
