Westway Trust is seeking a highly motivated Caretaker who will be passionate about developing and maintaining high standards of security and presentation of buildings across the 23 acres of estate, to ensure continuity of the use of the buildings and grounds for tenants and community use. This role will be critical to ensuring management of a vibrant, diverse and thriving estate.

You will be an enthusiastic individual with a good level of customer service who will have the ability to deal confidently with tenants and the general public.

Key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

• Responsible for light maintenance and housekeeping duties across the Trust’s buildings and estate.
• Perform simple repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
• Conduct security checks of the Trust’s properties across the estate, involving opening buildings and locking all doors and windows when not in operation.
• Inspecting buildings, including heating, cooling, lighting and alarm systems to make sure they are in good working order.
• For the general upkeep of buildings, sourcing, booking and supervising contractors for minor repairs working with the Facilities Team.
• Work with the Grounds & Gardens team to ensure Westway Trust’s land remains clean and tidy at all times (fly-tipping/bins/parking).
• Liaising with colleagues to assist in the unit base parking operations.
• Monitoring of bin collections and cleaning and re-arranging as required.
• Preparing rooms for meetings and events, including the moving of equipment such as tables and chairs.
• Liaising with Events Team to deliver support to events.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
• Three years of working with a property team or as a caretaker or in a similar role.
• Electrical and plumbing experience and / or qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Painting/decorating experience is desirable but not essential
• Good understanding of technical information, building construction and design.
• Practical ability to use and maintain tools.
• Experience of working in public open spaces.
• Good people management relationships.
• Have good time management, organisational, communication and administrative skills with the ability to work under pressure.

This is a pivotal moment for FAST as the need for our work has expanded due to more young people falling into poverty and struggling in schools. Whilst capacity is a challenge with 60% cut in public youth programmes over the last decade (YMCA 2020). We are still growing strong and are able to work with 300 young people annually. However, our desire is to continue this work of establishing and growing a healthy youth organisation that provides excellent & vibrant youth work that makes a difference to young people’s lives and produces healthy staff that are equipped and empowered to do the job they love. Key Responsibility

Support the Research Centre Manager, Senior Research Lead, and Head of Research in:
Events Administration

• Attend meetings, take and circulate notes on event planning and preparation.
• Assist the Research Centre Manager, Senior Research Lead, Head of Research, and all other event-hosting staff with: coordinating Calls for Papers; liaising with speakers and collaborators; providing administration for all aspects of events planning.
• Book travel and accommodation for external speakers (and VIP attendees); attend any related invoices and ensure prompt payment of the same.
• Book venues and prepare rooms for conferences, seminars, and all other Research Centre events, e.g. arrange furniture, set up refreshments.
• Arrange, as necessary, all IT and AV support for events, including speaker and participant digital access for online events, facilitating practice sessions, and any livestreams and recording of events.
• Work at evening events (outside office hours) at the organisation or events hosted at external locations, as required (agreed in advance).
• Provide technical support at digital events, including setting up hybrid planning meetings between internal and external colleagues.

Communications and Advertising:

• Produce event copy, as required, for the website, e-newsletter for research networks, etc.

• Maintain and develop the email list of subscribers to events mailings and to the newsletter.

• Work with Digital and Creative Teams to create event templates for invitations that match the brand, the research theme and audience of the given event.
• Work to promote upcoming research events using internal and external advertising platforms, as appropriate.

Research Centre Administration:

• Provide front-of-house support to the Research Centre, as necessary.
• Attend and take and circulate notes, as required, at relevant committees/working groups for research.
• Work with Senior Research Lead and Research Centre Manager to carry out administration related to research projects, including assisting with budgets, processing invoices, securing image rights, publishing web content, liaising with external collaborators and visiting fellows, booking travel and accommodation and providing administration for all research project activities.

Key Required Skills

• Substantial experience of event management to coordinate projects and events, ideally within a large, multipart organisation.
• Ability to develop and manage detailed project timelines and workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail (e.g. creating travel itineraries; making bookings; taking minutes of meetings; maintaining calendars and room booking systems).
• Proven track record in numeracy and financial data-handling experience; experience maintaining and managing information on a relational database.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is seeking Community care coordinators for some of our most vulnerable users of emergency services. The Email Marketing Executive plays a key supporting role in the planning and delivery of our email communications.

This role is responsible for supporting effective email campaign delivery by collaborating with stakeholders to shape email plans, providing feedback on content, and ensuring journeys are well structured and delivered to a high standard. The postholder will also be responsible for reporting on campaign performance and providing actionable insights to support ongoing improvement.

You will work directly with the Email Channel Owner and contribute to ensuring consistency and efficiency in delivery and compile regular reports on email performance. Collaboration, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of email marketing best practice are essential for success in this role.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Email platform proficiency: Experience using email marketing tools, ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Understanding of best practice: Familiarity with email marketing standards, GDPR compliance, and optimisation techniques.

Role Purpose:

The Helpline Supervisor will provide support, guidance and supervise the helpline advisors and in the future helpline volunteers. The role will further provide emotional support and debriefing for the helpline advisors and volunteers during each helpline shift and when appropriate after each reported incident. They will also oversee the quality of service and ensure each report is dealt with appropriately to a high standard and that reports are logged appropriately recording all relevant information, ensuring data is protected and all procedures are followed.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance and emotional support to helpline advisors.
   

• Monitor call logs, case records, and system reports to ensure quality and flag complex or urgent cases.
   

• Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed and lead on referrals involving serious risk or protection concerns.
   

• Deliver pre-shift briefings, post-shift debriefs, and facilitate reflective practice sessions.
   

• Coordinate rotas and ensure adequate shift coverage.
