We're looking for a Philanthropy Manager to join our ambitious fundraising team. The primary role of the RJU is to lead on the coordination of racial justice initiatives which involves the implementation of  (FLTA), supporting key stakeholders including the senior leadership, dioceses, NCIs, TEIs, and other related institutions, coordinating and supporting the governance mechanisms, and managing the related Triennium Fund.

Assistant Shop Manager - Nork

You will support the promotion of sustainable shopping and the shop’s social media to increase audience reach, attract customers, donors and volunteer supporters to deliver the Retail Strategy.

Role Requirements

• To maximise shop sales by achieving agreed targets both through donated stock and bought in/new goods. This involves proactive stock generation, optimum pricing, processing stock to agreed amounts and stock planning.
• Achieve Gift Aid sales conversion target through maximising new donor sign up and encouraging repeat donations.
• Achieve the shops Raffle sales targets through involving the shops team.
• To maintain high levels of shop presentation by merchandising and housekeeping to agreed standards as set out in the Shops Operations manual.
• Manage the stock levels of bought in/new goods, to include ordering of more stock as and when necessary and recording key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in holding and attending Fundraising events to promote the awareness of The Children’s Trust.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.

Write applications and reports

• Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
• Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
• Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
• Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner. 

Data Management and Monitoring

• Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
• Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.

Line Management

• Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

The Opportunity

This role at WFN provides an exciting opportunity to lead on the development of our growing Winner Network Development (WND) programme, identified as one of the charity’s key areas for strategic growth and maximised impact over the coming years. We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing communicator who is passionate about conservation and can drive forward and create connections between our global network of over 220 conservationists, fostering knowledge exchange, capacity development and collaboration. As part of this programme the Grants and Network Manager (GNM) will help with delivery of annual thematic training workshops, with opportunity for international travel. The GNM will also assist our Head of Grants (HG) in monitoring our portfolio of active grants, with support from the Grants Assistant (GA). The GNM will also participate in the Whitley Awards application process by helping to screen the grant applications and supporting with due diligence. If you have a conservation background, and experience with capacity development programmes, proactively managing growing networks, and monitoring active grants, then this is the role for you.

GRANTS AND NETWORK MANAGER - PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

Essential:

· MSc or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Conservation/ Zoology/ Environmental Science)

· Experience cultivating and managing networks of people, with a proven track record of successful engagement and network growth

· Requisite experience in managing a portfolio of active grants within the environmental NGO sector including ongoing monitoring and evaluation

· Past experience with capacity development initiatives and/or facilitating trainings and events, including organising logistics

· Demonstrable understanding of grassroots conservation projects, issues, and solutions

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels (interface with team members, trustees, international grantees, donors, external assessors, suppliers)

About The Role

This role provides a great opportunity for an established fundraiser to grow our pipeline, an area that we know has huge potential for growth. You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and vital programmes of work that provide help and hope for everyone affected by dementia. 

You will have either be able to build or have pre-existing (personal or professional) links to South Asian communities. You will be able to develop a cultural insight, or experience working within these networks, you will play a vital role in helping us build trust, broaden our reach, and connect new prospects to the Society’s ambitious vision.

What you’ll focus on:

- Forging close relationships with philanthropists, with a focus on engaging the South Asian community with our work.
- Managing a portfolio of donors, to provide our supporters with best in sector stewardship.
- Building networks with philanthropic ‘intermediaries’, such as private wealth managers and family offices.
- Cross-team working with our Insurance United Against Dementia and Sport United Against Dementia development boards, to grow our philanthropic networks.

The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that builds the capacity of developing countries to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. Degrees is neutral on whether SRM should ever be used, but we believe that developing countries should be empowered to conduct their own research and to play a central role in SRM discussions.

This is a unique opportunity to shape global conversations on climate science by empowering researchers in developing countries to publish and communicate their work, collaborating with some of the world’s leading SRM experts.

We are looking for a candidate with strong digital skills and social media experience. The ideal candidate will have experience creating content for social and web, managing website content and systems, and working with digital media (photos and video). 

The Digital Communications Officer will report to the Communications Manager and collaborate with teams across the organisation (Policy Engagement, Programmes, Fundraising) and with our researcher teams across the Global South. 

Responsibilities will include:  

Social media 

• Manage day-to-day social media posting across current channels (LinkedIn, X, Bluesky), posting content that aligns with our tone of voice and brand guidelines  

• Monitor social media and traditional media for mentions of Degrees and the wider topic of SRM, identifying trends and opportunities 

• Evaluate social media performance and recommend potential new strategies and platforms, driven by data as well as awareness of Degrees’ position

Content creation 

• Edit short videos of our researchers for social media and the website 

• Design graphics for social media, reports, presentations and events, using tools such as Canva or InDesign 

• Write news, profiles, and announcements for the website 

Website 

• Act as primary website administrator, keeping the website up to date by editing and adding new pages as required 

• Maintain content consistency across the website, especially as we redevelop our site and move to a new platform (WordPress, with Gutenberg editor) 

• Assist with website content migration using a good understanding of website database management systems (e.g. Jet Engine, ACF) 

• Use analytics to monitor website performance and suggest SEO improvements (Google Analytics) 

Team support 

• Create and maintain templates for documents, presentations, etc., to ensure consistency across visual products 

• Compile and deliver the quarterly newsletter (using MailChimp) 

• Organise and maintain media asset folders (photos, videos, recordings) with clear tagging 

• Support other teams (policy engagement, programmes, fundraising) with communications products as required 

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Healthwatch City of London are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced communications and engagement officer to ensure that the patient and service users voice is at the heart of Health and Social Care decision making.  The successful candidate will drive engagement with the local community, creating visibility of our work to residents and partners. You will also be responsible for the management of our volunteer team and the exciting projects they undertake.

This part time role (4 days a week) is within a busy small team representing the residents, workers and students of the City of London. Healthwatch City of London are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services. We’re here to make sure that those running services, put people at the heart of care. Our sole purpose is to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services, and to speak out on their behalf. We also work to get services right for the future.

You’ll also be representing our organisation at network meetings across all the various Health and Social Care providers, charity partners and patient groups across North East London.

Role purpose

Working closely with the General Manager and Trustees you will develop and deliver the communications and engagement strategy for the organisation, making sure the patients voice is at the heart of everything we do. You will write monthly newsletters, daily social media posts, organise and manage engagement and information events and produce statutory publications. You will also deliver the volunteer strategy by recruiting and managing a wide-ranging volunteer team and identifying relevant projects which enhance and deliver on Healthwatch City of London objectives.

About Get Further

One in three students leave school each year without a standard pass (grade 4 or above) in GCSE English and maths, with this rising to over one in two among disadvantaged young people. The Role

We are seeking a driven and passionate Marketing and Communications Officer to lead our day-to-day digital communications and support the delivery of creative marketing, brand, and advocacy initiatives. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will help bring our mission to life through compelling content and consistent, high-quality communications.

Key Responsibilities

Digital platforms

• Create and deliver engaging social media content and campaigns
