We are looking for an experienced and passionate direct marketing professional, or someone with relevant transferable skills, to join us as our new Direct Marketing Fundraiser. 

This is an exciting time to join the fundraising team with significant growth across multiple income streams, including individual giving. This role will be integral to developing our individual giving programme to support the growth and sustainability of our income, whilst also driving supporter engagement. You will be responsible for the hospice’s direct mail campaigns and maintaining and developing strong relationships with donors to maximise income generation. The Marsh Christian Trust (MCT) is looking for an Assistant to join a small, dynamic team and support the day-to-day running of the organisation. This role would be for a 9-month contract as maternity leave cover, and would suit someone who is interested in the charity world and looking for a part-time position. We're looking for a talented Individual Giving Manager to join our small team. The role will be responsibile for the delivery of our excellent supporter stewardship, care and retention programmes, whilst driving fundraising growth. 

The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of Women for Refugee Women’s (WRW) individual giving fundraising strategy, including through a variety of income streams such as regular gifts, High Net Worth giving, corporate support, events, and legacies; to develop and deliver WRW’s support engagement journey in order to generate income from individual donors and to develop strong and long-lasting supporter relationships; to oversee and develop our stewardship retention programme; and to contribute to WRW’s overall fundraising strategy and income generation.

A natural communicator, both verbal and written, you will also have excellent time management and prioritisation skills, while a flexible, proactive and professional approach to your work is essential. Strong analytical skills along with impeccable attention to detail, and a high level of numeracy are a must-have for this role, as is experience of business partnering, or equivalent relationship development. What we are looking for:

A skilled marketing professional to join our team and help us improve our brand awareness and reach our target audiences. About the Role – Empowering Disabled Leaders 

We believe that Disabled people should be at the forefront of shaping their own futures. That’s why we are looking for a passionate and experienced Leadership and Coaching Manager to lead and grow our Leadership Programme. 

This is a unique opportunity to support and develop Disabled Leaders who are actively transforming their communities through user-led projects. You’ll be at the heart of flipping the power, ensuring that Disabled individuals are equipped to take charge of their leadership journeys, break down barriers, and drive real change. 

The successful candidate will lead our Leadership Programme, provide coaching and mentoring, and help create a sustainable future for Disabled Leaders. You’ll be part of a dynamic team in an inclusive environment where Disabled people set the agenda and define their own leadership. 

What You'll Do 

• Lead and expand the Leadership Programme, flipping the power by ensuring Disabled people lead the change they want to see. 

• Provide one-on-one coaching and group mentoring for Disabled Leaders, helping them break down barriers and develop their leadership potential. 

• Design and deliver leadership workshops, creating more opportunities for new Leaders to grow and succeed. 

• Manage a team of 4 Disabled staff members, fostering an environment of leadership development, collaboration, and co-production. 

• Collaborate with senior management to align leadership initiatives with CDA’s strategic goals, ensuring Disabled voices are central to decision-making. 

• Work alongside the Operations Manager to oversee budgets and help Disabled Leaders secure funding for their projects.

The role of Finance Manager

​The Finance Manager will oversee the finance operations and lead on the preparation of management accounts, budgets, funding requests and internal and external reporting. The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in helping the Board and leadership team understand their performance and their ability to deliver an ambitious growth plan over the next five years. This job presents a great opportunity for someone experienced with charity management accounting and reporting who has a keen eye for detail and process improvement and a desire to be part of a charity that’s only going to get bigger and more influential!  

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have significant experience with finance operations, management accounts, reporting and budgeting in a charity or NFP organisation
• Have a sound understanding of accounting practices, policies and Charity SORP
• Have experience supporting with the financial aspects of trust, grant and partnership applications
• Want to work hands-on as part of a small, dynamic team
• Have a passion for our cause, and a desire to advance the work that we do as a charity

The Finance Manager is one of just 3 members of the Finance & Operations team including the COO and the Finance & Administration Officer. We’re looking for someone dynamic and driven who likes to work autonomously, solve problems pragmatically and plan and organise their time effectively.

Location

We have offices in London and Huddersfield which are easily accessible by road or public transport. We support hybrid working but attendance in one of the offices [dependent on your location] is required on an average of 1 day per week.
