Schools’ Project Officer
The Mark Evison Foundation aims to promote the personal development of young people through challenge. We work directly with London partner state schools, encouraging non-academic proposals for challenge from 17-year olds (Y12s). It is fascinating work, bringing out the best in young people. Students must create their own applications and challenges, decide what they want to do, research and plan the projects and present them: we help with plans (sending comments by email), careful risk assessment and funding.
Due to expansion, we are seeking a gifted schools’ project officer for a key role within a busy team based in Dulwich SE21, Southwark. The work is varied and fulfilling.
You should be a graduate from a good university, enthusiastic and very well-organised, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently, manage priorities, work to deadlines, and take initiative. The post involves presenting at school assemblies as outreach, working with students to help them prepare costed applications, handling draft applications by email, and accurate data collection and input. You will need to deal efficiently and accurately with our administrative requirements, and have excellent PC skills – Word, Excel and Outlook. We would train you to deal with the work and our systems.

Your role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Partnerships New Business Manager, to join our friendly and ambitious team, to be the lead on new business activity in the team. This role will lead on securing new high-value, multi-faceted, long-term partnerships with companies to support the RNLI’s objectives. This role will build upon recent pipeline development and new business success in the team, through leading on the continuous development and implementation of the new business strategy and plans, further driving improvements and ensuring a sustained focus on pipeline development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, approaching and securing new business at six figure level. You'll ensure we provide excellent management and stewardship of the new business pipeline, provide regular and accurate performance updates against objectives and KPIs, and accurately forecast short, mid and long-term income. You will help to drive creative thinking in the development of proposals to take out to prospective partners.
The location of this role is flexible and can be homebased, but ideally within a commutable distance of Poole, as the successful candidate will be required to travel to Poole and Partner locations on a regular basis (sometimes at short notice) to meet with internal and external stakeholders.

About Cool Earth
Cool Earth is a climate charity that protects the rainforest by supporting the people who live there. We have been working alongside local and Indigenous rainforest communities for over 15 years in the three largest and most important rainforests in the world, the Amazon, The Congo Rainforest and the Papua New Guinea Rainforest. Indigenous and local communities have been protecting the rainforest for thousands of years, but unfortunately are now facing a humanitarian crisis, lacking necessities like safe drinking water, infrastructure, healthcare, and stable incomes.
This makes rainforest communities vulnerable to exploitation by illegal loggers and extractive industries, who pressure them to sell their land. Once these industries take over, Indigenous peoples are displaced, losing their ancestral homes, culture, and traditional ways of life, and the rainforest is destroyed. Without these forests to regulate the earth’s temperature the climate crisis will only worsen. So what do we do to help?
By working in collaboration with these communities we help support their livelihoods, improve health, sanitation and education and provide tech to help monitor their rainforest. Our main programme involves giving direct unconditional cash to rainforest communities so that they can decide how best to use it in order to improve their quality of life. Rainforest communities can only defend their land from illegal loggers and greedy land grabbers when they themselves are resilient and strong. We help them get to that point.
What you’ll be doing
Strategic leadership and impact: we have the digital strategy, now we need someone exceptional to deliver it and keep us on our upwards trajectory.
You’ll lead the charge across our website, social media and email to skyrocket our visibility and engagement. By managing our talented Digital Officer, you’ll ensure every campaign isn't just seen, but drives action. Helping to deliver the KPIs that will define our success through 2026 and 2027.
Social Media and storytelling: in collaboration with our in-country coordinators, you’ll turn raw, frontline stories from people who live in the rainforest, and experts across the team into compelling, high-quality content. You’ll also help us develop key individuals to become the face of Cool Earth’s social. You’ll oversee our organic and paid social strategies (awareness and lead gen), working with our agency partners to ensure every post and every ad isn't just noise, but a meaningful step toward increased engagement and donor conversion.
Digital innovation and website excellence: you will champion our digital home, working with our web agency to deliver a seamless, high-performing website experience. From SEO housekeeping to major content overhauls for AEO and GEO visibility, you’ll ensure our site is more than just a resource, it’s an accessible, optimised journey that captures the imagination of every visitor and converts visitors into supporters and/or donors.
PR and influence: You’ll amplify our press work to help break through the noise. By nurturing relationships with our ambassadors and seeking out global influencers, you will secure the kind of content that puts Cool Earth at the center of the climate conversation.
Movement building via email: you’ll lead our email marketing strategy, working with our fundraising team to email supporters weekly with impact, stories from the forest, quizzes and more. You’ll use DotDigital and Salesforce to build deep, automated journeys for new supporters. By working with our CRM lead, you’ll ensure our donors receive the right message at the right time, turning one-time supporters into lifelong advocates for the rainforest.
Data-Driven Growth: You’ll constantly monitor performance and review the data, providing the Head of Marketing and Communications with the insights needed so we can keep pivoting and growing.

The role:
The Senior Grants Manager will play a leading role in the design, assessment and management of our funding programmes. Reporting to the Head of Grants, this role will lead the assessment of complex proposals, manage a varied portfolio of grants, build strong relationships with grantees and partners, and contribute to shaping the Trust’s grant-making strategy and growing their expertise in youth mental health. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced grants professional ready to step into a more senior role to contribute to shaping of the Trust’s grant-making and make an impact in an important field.
This role will make a significant contribution to the delivery of the Trust’s objectives. The primary aim of this role is to bring senior grant-making expertise and knowledge to the team, in addition to growing the Trust’s expertise in the field of youth mental health.
This is an opportunity to work with and support a wide range of organisations, individuals. It will involve designing and delivering funding calls, managing relationships with grantees and exercising sound judgement, whilst capturing learning to inform future decision making and strategy. There will also be an important database and reporting aspect to this role, where accuracy and process management expertise will be essential.
The role is full-time and will be primarily office based at lovely offices in Central London.
The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial grant-making experience alongside previous exposure to the thematic aspects of the Trust’s work on young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Exposure to research and/or impact measurement tools and methodologies will also be very useful.
This role would be suited to an adept grant‑maker who brings strong sector awareness and is energised by continuously deepening their understanding of youth mental health. Thoughtful, analytical and highly organised, this person will be a collaborative self-starter in addition to having excellent communication skills.
Team work, professionalism and accuracy are all keys to success in this role so evidence of having worked in high paced and busy teams, in similar areas of work will be very important, in addition to being able to work independently and to manage your own time.

This role is available on a permanent basis and can be either full-time or part-time. The salary range is £29,000–£40,000 FTE, depending on experience. This is a role with flexible working arrangements, all staff attend the Woking office on Mondays and with the option to work remotely on other days.
As the Grant Programmes Manager, you will report to the Deputy Director of Grants & Programmes and play a key role in designing, delivering, and evaluating targeted funding programmes such as our Heritage for All, Clearer Care and Mental Health scale Up Fund Programmes. You will work closely with colleagues across Grants, Programmes, Development, and Communications teams to steward donor relationships and ensure that their funding reaches the communities where it will have the greatest impact.
You will manage the end‑to‑end delivery of funding programmes. You will engage with voluntary and community organisations, public sector partners, and donors to shape programme design and share learning. You may also be required to line manage a Grants Officer or Administrator providing support on programme delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and highly organised individual with experience managing the full lifecycle of grant or funding programmes. You will have strong project management skills, excellent attention to detail, confidence interpreting complex information and communicating this to a range of audiences.
You will bring a friendly, professional approach and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders, from grassroots community groups to donors and trustees. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities and working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. You will have strong digital skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
Experience working in the charity or voluntary sector is desirable. Additional desirable experience includes, familiarity with CRM systems, experience working with communities within Surrey, and an interest in supportive grant‑making practices such as IVAR principles of open and transparent grant-making.
