The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for leading and expanding the Trust's digital presence, ensuring our research, policy priorities, programmes, and alumni stories are shared in an impactful way with external audiences. Reporting to the Head of Communications and Public Affairs, and working closely with one direct report, they will deliver a step change in digital communications activity, driving data-led improvements and developing new and compelling multimedia content for the Trust's website, social media channels and digital communications.
Main duties
Website and digital communications
- Oversee the management and strategic development of the Sutton Trust website and associated microsites.
- Ensure the main site delivers impactful communications showcasing the breadth of the Trust’s work, whilst being responsive to the needs of our key audiences: students, teachers, policymakers, academics and media.
- Lead on relationships with external web developers to drive forward improvements to the Trust’s websites, ensuring quality user experience and SEO optimisation.
- Use Google Analytics and other monitoring tools to evaluate website performance and inform improvements.
- Project manage the production of video content, and other similar projects.
- Format reports, design graphics and create digital assets, supported closely by the Senior Digital Communications Officer.
- Edit the Trust’s regular email newsletter, ensuring content is of the highest quality.

Social media
- Oversee the development and delivery of the Trust’s strategy for growing its social media presence through Linkedin, Bluesky, X, Instagram and other emerging platforms as appropriate.

- Develop and deliver strategies to maximise reach and engagement, including working with partners, alumni and influencers.

Person Specification
We welcome applications from individuals who have experience in:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of managing digital communications infrastructure and social media channels.
- Significant experience in managing a website, including good knowledge of HTML and CSS, WordPress and Google Analytics.
- Creative flair and a knack for distilling complex ideas into compelling content.
- A good understanding of Canva, InDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop to design infographics and other imagery.
- Experience of video content production, particularly for social media.
- Experience of using social media platforms and analytics successfully and a willingness to explore new channels. Understanding of LinkedIn, Bluesky, X and TikTok would be advantageous, as would previous experience using Google Analytics to monitor and drive improvements.

Terms of Appointment
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent

- Working location: Minimum of 2 office days per week, but further flexibility may be required given the external-facing nature of the role
- Office location: The Sutton Trust, 9th Floor, Millbank Tower, 21-24 Millbank, London, SW1P 4QP. Our home working policy gives staff the option to work from home for up to 60% of the time, with approval from their line manager.
- Hours: The standard working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and may also be required to attend events / meetings outside of their normal working hours during weekday evenings and occasionally at weekends. This role also shares primary responsibility for monitoring the out of hours media line with the Head of Communications and Public Affairs.

What does The Animal Law Foundation do?
The Animal Law Foundation was registered with the Charity Commission in August 2022. It is primarily a legal research charity that looks into neglected areas of animal law and where appropriate will instruct lawyers to bring legal challenges to secure any systems in place to protect animals function as they should.
Groups like this exist in the environmental and the human rights space in the UK and in the animal protection space in other countries. There is a desperate need for such work to exist for animals in the UK.
The UK still has some of the best animal welfare laws in the world, yet the opportunity for vast change contained within these laws is rarely explored. Through exploring these opportunities the whole system for animals can be improved and set global examples.
It is of vital importance that laws that exist to protect animals are understood and applied. The Animal Law Foundation will work alongside stakeholders to ensure that this happens.

Job purpose:
The post holder will support the Digital Content Manager in implementing the Association’s digital strategy. They will create web content that is user focused, accessible and optimised for search engines. As Communications and Administration Officer, working within a team of three staff and about six volunteers, this role offers a broad range of roles and experience within a dynamic human rights charity.
Position: Communications and Administration Officer
Responsible to: Director and Grants and Engagement Manager
Location: Remote working, with regular in-person meetings
Hours: Three days a week, working from 9am to 5pm
Salary: £23,000 to £26,000 FTE, depending on skills and experience
Annual leave and benefits: 25 days per year, pro rata and 8% pension employer contribution

Responsibilities:
Communications
- Assisting the director on the major donor programme
- Drafting and publishing all postal and email communications to donors, including fundraising campaigns and newsletters
- Working with the director and the grants and engagement manager on fundraising appeals and fundraising opportunities
- Work with the grants and engagement manager on digital onboarding of new supporters
- Coordinating and managing volunteers
- Website updates and uploads
- MailChimp and social media management and content production
Administration
- Managing and updating our donor database
- Checking and uploading donations on the donor database
- Running GiftAid
- Processing outgoing all payments through banks and money transfers
- Liaising with the external accountant to run reconciliations and odd tasks
Requirements:
- IT and digital competence
- Ability to multitask and to learn new and varied skills
- High standard of English and communications content
- Desirable: any relevant experience

About the role
As Director, you’ll:
- Lead the development and delivery of Breast Cancer Now’s brand, marketing, and communications strategy, ensuring our voice is clear, powerful and consistent.
- Drive innovative and inclusive campaigns that grow awareness, trust, engagement and income – across digital, media, PR, ambassadors, and supporter communities.
- Work closely with senior colleagues across the Engagement Directorate to deliver ambitious fundraising and engagement growth, including a £50m major campaign.
- Inspire, empower and develop a high-performing team, embedding collaboration, creativity and boldness.
- Act as an influential ambassador, building strong relationships internally and externally to maximise impact.
About you
You are a dynamic and strategic senior leader with:
- Significant experience leading brand, marketing and communications at scale, ideally within healthcare or the charity sector.
- A strong track record of delivering innovative, audience-first, multi-channel strategies that grow awareness, engagement and income.
- Proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams through change and growth.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the confidence to represent Breast Cancer Now at the highest levels.
- Curiosity and courage to champion new ideas, from digital innovation to inclusive storytelling.

The Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP) is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 800 young people a year with a wide range of issues. We offer specialised treatment in the areas of depression, suicide prevention, self-harm, eating disorders, exam anxiety and more. Our approach is rooted in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. We aim to reach significantly more young people in the years ahead, drawing on our heritage that combines specialist treatment in-house and outreach into communities. About the Role
BCYP is seeking a seasoned Communications and Marketing Officer who will design and implement a strategy to boost BCYP’s brand and support the efforts of clinicians. The candidate will also support the fundraising team through grassroots event management and the adoption of a small portfolio of donors. Some event and project management will be required, in particular supporting the delivery of seminars and training programmes, as well as community events.
The applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to translate the stakeholders’ (Trustees/clinicians/donors/young people) needs and broadcast them to the community. They must have hands-on skills creating and designing digital, print, and social media and the confidence to put their signature on a strong communications and marketing strategy that will maximize external partnerships.

Job Purpose
The Communications and Content Officer supports the delivery of engaging and effective communications across Operation Smile UK’s channels. The postholder will create and coordinate content that raises awareness, supports fundraising, and strengthens the organisation’s profile in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Content creation and content management
- Working with the Senior Communications Manager, research, draft, and edit compelling content for the UK website, newsletters, and print materials.
- Support the reimagining of existing content to ensure messaging is fresh, relevant, and audience-led.
- Collate and maintain a library of case studies, stories, and assets for use across teams.
- Ensure brand voice and tone are consistently applied across all communications.
Digital and organic social media
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar which supports our Communications Strategy and liaise with our Social Media Freelancer to plan and approve posts.
- Contribute to the delivery of multi-channel campaigns, liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to create assets and meet deadlines.
- Assist with monitoring and reporting on content performance, identifying opportunities for growth and engagement.
Campaign coordination
- Support the planning and scheduling of communications campaigns like World Smile Day and advertising events like our annual carols concert.
- Manage feedback processes to ensure the timely delivery of content and materials.
- Act as the first point of contact for all content requests from across the organisation.
Administration and finance
- Collate quotes for expenditure and liaise with suppliers as required.
- Track invoices, ensuring coding is accurate and amounts match agreed quotes.
- Maintain organised systems for content workflows, approvals, and campaign schedules.
Monitoring and evaluation
- Gather engagement and performance metrics from all channels.
- Provide regular reports to the Senior Communications Manager.
- Suggest improvements to optimise performance and impact.
